If you're roleplaying with your only friends, you're roleplaying with your best friends.

I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

Lucy was enjoying her own devices when she heard someone knocking on the door to her room. “Hi Lucy, It's me again.” Came Jezebel's familiar voice. “Like, can I come in?”

Lucy peered back towards the door, raising a brow before placing down her E-handbook “Yes come on in.”

If Lucy didn't recognize the voice, she probably remembered Jezebel's outlandish outfit as she walked through the door. The clown was still grinning ear to ear when she closed the door behind herself. “Hm?” While Jezebel was still smiling, she tipped her head sideways. “What's with that look? You didn't like, forget about a Betty like already did you?” she chuckled.

The girl did in fact remember the outfit, blinking a few times to remember that it was in fact real for a moment. “I forgot you for a moment, before I saw you of course..” She commented before standing up from the bed and walking closer “Anyway, what is it you needed? ”

“I totally want your companionship!” Jezebel threw out her arms, but stopped herself “Kidding, kidding!” The clown retracted her arms. “You're just a new person, so like, I figured you'd like someone to talk to. Like You were totally dumped into a killing game after all, so it wouldn't hurt to have some friends. Was I wrong?”

Lucy was clearly about ready to reach out and grab something at the clown as soon as they opened their arms. Of course it was reactionery so it did not go far as they lowered their arms as well. “I see… Well I did get a bunch of useful details out of Felix. Still I guess it would not hurt. Tell me, has anyone gotten away yet? Or in fact has everyone that committed killings been caught?”

“Well, I totally wouldn't be alive right now if even one blackened got away.” Jezebel scratched the back of her head. “I wasn't around for it, but like there was a guy called Davis Gallo? Apparently he got out of the game. But he was calling himself the mastermind, so I'm not sure if that counts. ” She shrugged her shoulders. “So you're like the infinite prodigy and junk? A total jack of all trades? That sounds tripindicular! What kind of things can you currently do?”

The girl hummed at the knowledge that was given to her, something seemed more than a little off. “He called himself the mastermind and walked out of the game? That is.. odd.” She commented offhandedly before focusing back once her talent was mentioned. “Ha! Of course, behold!” With a flick of her wrist, like magic, a playing card showed up with but a flick of her fingers. Of course it was slight of hand but otherwise she found it impressive! “You may marvel whenever.”

Jezebel looked at the girl's outstretched hand, and the card that held in it. “Is... that it?”

Lucy huffed and crossed her arms “”What do you mean IS THAT IT? Did you even see what I did? No? There!... Besides I am young I have much growing to do.” For some reason she peered down to her chest for a moment but then went right back up.

Jezebel let out a “heh” before walking around Lucy. “Like, if you want to do a trick like that, you totally need to show the audience that you have nothing to hide.” Jezebel rolled up her sleeves and let Lucy examine her arms. Jezebel even went as far as removing her hat and gloves before going on. “You also, like, need to show them that you have something to disappear. Anyone can make a card appear, but we totally need to show everyone what we plan on making disappear. Like, the card could have come from anywhere otherwise.” She gently removed the card from Lucy's hand and held it between her ring and pinky fingers. “They so know the card is real, so we can start our trick.” she shook her hand up and down, so fast that it was starting to blur. But when her hand finally stopped moving, the card had vanished. “Now that we've convinced them that the card is gone, we can totally bring it back.” With a flick of her fingers, the card seemed to come out of nowhere and landed in Lucy's waiting hands. “Like, you need to set up your audience to be tricked. Otherwise, they will totally have doubts, and everything about your trick will be brought into question.”

“Hey wait, what are you...” Lucy was more than a little confused as the clown started to roll up her sleeves. However as she did so the girls eyes seem to light up, listening and trying to absorb everything that she may have to offer on the subject. “I didn’t know you knew so much about this?” She questioned but now she had the card back she was more than happy to play with it, following the instructions from before with ease given her past experience.

Jezebel giggled. “I don't think I said this, but I'm the Infinite trickster.” She put her hat and gloves back on. “I don't do card tricks that much anymore, but like, I still find that stuff fascinating. Maybe I can show you some other stuff?” That was when Cyrus's voice came over the loudspeakers. “Why do I think something grody just happened?” she shrugged and looked at Lucy. “Well anyway, we should probably show up with everyone else. Did you want to come with me?”

With a affirmative nod Lucy agreed! “Well I guess i could allow you to teach me such things. Normally people would beg for such an opportunity but while I am here, so be it.” She looked prideful but it was more than clear by her face that she was excited by the prospect, learning new tricks like that would be fun after all. Once she heard the voice over the speakers however she looked a little angry at it. “Interrupting.. Yes, let us go together then.”

Jezebel rolled her eyes, but kept her smile up.“As you wish, your majesty.” The two headed off to see what was going on.
@Ariamis You're fine, my dude. as we speak, I'm prepping things for after the time skip.
>When you have a lot to do and it scares you, but mom made dinner.

Sue nodded along to everything Eli said. “Alright, I know I'm going. So we just need to look at this list a little closer and decide exactly who's going to do what.” Sue the started to lower her voice. “Could you come with me for a moment?” Eli hadn't even answered before Sue started to walk away from the other magical girls. “So um.” Sue stopped walking when she was sure they were out of earshot. “What are your feelings on Amber? We could be working together very soon.”

Eli was a bit surprised at being requested to come, but Sue had already started walking so Eli had to hurry after, wondering what the matter was. ‘Oh, Amber. Uh…’ Eli took a moment, looking a bit pained, before she started.
‘… Deni thought you two were fun. That’s… that’s the extent of my experience. Right now, Amber is a powerful Magical Girl with a reason to be cross with us. Mariette’s…’ Eli looked to her mistress briefly, standing over there talking to Alicia and others. ‘… trying not to annoy her. This by intentionally avoiding confrontation. That’s her way of trying to avoid problems. By never meeting them until she has to…’

Sue dropped her shoulders with a sigh, but quickly regained her composure. “This plan hinges on both of them, so we do need them to at least cooperate with each other. Though perhaps doing that in public wouldn't be very good.” Sue bit her thumb nail while looking at the two mentioned magical girls. “I'll try to talk to Amber later. If you could convince Mariette to talk with her, I think that would be really helpful.”

Eli looked at Sue, listening to her words before nodding. ‘Alright,’ she simply said. ‘I’ll see if I can bring it up with her.’

Sue was about to walk off when she stopped to face Eli. She didn’t look at her though, her eyes were looking towards the ground. “Deni seemed like a nice person. It’s a shame I didn’t get to know her better.” She flicked her eyes up onto the harpy. “M-maybe we could become friends. Later, if this all works out.” Sue joined the others. “I’m ready when everyone else is. I think if we just go down the list, that would be the easiest to keep track of. I’m not sure it matters who talks to them once they’re here, so long as it’s someone who knows what’s going on.”

Eli didn’t reply to Sue’s words, expression only twitching a bit. She then remained for a bit, before treading after to rejoin. She had the notebook ready, and was ready to give immediate suggestions about whom to attempt recruiting.
To be fair, almost all of what I write to the bitching thread happened a looooong time ago. So you'll be disappointed if you go to my profile page trying to figure out who I'm talking about.

Also, not everyone can be so easily approached. Which could be another bitch all on it's own. There are some people who just aren't worth arguing with because you know that handshake will never come. but I think most grievances that get posted in here aren't that unbearable and are possibly inflated a bit to make them look more amusing.
