Backstory: Elexis was your typical personal assistant, she went about her day to day activities putting up with the usual crap from those above her. She had an affair with her boss that ended as most affairs do badly. Her boss wanted her fired but his superiors were afraid of a lawsuit. She was reassigned to someone else who she had no chance of seducing or being seduced by a gay guy. One of her first assignments was to deliver some paperwork to R&D. There was an explosion in R&D she was bathed in some black goo. The head of R&D immediately tried to remove the goo from her but was unable to. She was completely unresponsive and showed no vital signs at all. The board didn’t want the bad press or a lawsuit from her loved ones; they disposed of her goo covered body along with other items they illegally dumped. Once her goo covered body sunk to the bottom of the ocean the goo took over and returned her to dry land. She had no memory of what happened or why she was by the ocean. She returned to work and apologized. Her boss was extremely curious he had people watching her 24/7. While she was at work he had people go to her place & install surveillance equipment. He wanted to know exactly what happened with the goo and what it did to her.
