Synopsis

I like telling engaging stories with cool people :)

Collaboration and teamwork are very important to me when telling a story- I could write any genre as long as the group dynamic is healthy.

If you're chill and understand grammar we'll probably get along!

RPs I'm In

Language is the tool I use to connect myself to the world around me and to the people that I care for.

@LovelyAnastasia It was just a bit of a yolk, I get it.

Gera Zsoldos - Pilot

It wasn’t every day that you got chosen for a mission as singularly important as the one Gera was chosen for. I mean, sure, he volunteered for the mission, but he didn’t just volunteer. No, Gera was contacted. Maybe he was contacted after the first three candidates declined the job, but fourth out of hundreds of thousands wasn’t exactly shabby either! Pa called him a fool, and Ion? Well, he used some more… choice language. Neither of them thought going was a good idea.

Like hell he wasn’t though! Who in their right mind would decline getting paid to ferry people across fucking galaxies? There was, of course, the slightly unsettling nature of his briefing. Gera wondered if the lead pilot had received similar instructions. He resolved to discuss it with them once he figured out who the hell they were. "I'm yer pilot, Miora. Donna go callin' me nothin' else, less ye want me to rearrange yer face, a'ight? Now, what are ye stations, ladies?"

Well that answered that question.

Gera approached Miora, and tapped her on the back. “Co-Pilot Gera Zsoldos reporting for duty,” He said with a smile, giving a mock salute. “I hope you’re as capable as you are old fashioned!” And by old fashioned, he meant hundreds of years old type of old fashioned. Who the hell was this person? She intrigued him, to an extent. At least this trip wasn't making out to be a boring one.

Anton Kyznetsov - Doctor

Anton strode towards the crew’s rendezvous point, his thick, human hand clutching a heavy duffle bag. The left hand's metallic counterpart was holding on to a similar bag, and was thankfully free of pain. Peering out from beneath his flat cap, Anton spotted a small gathering of individuals. Two soldiers for certain. Who are the others? Too early to tell. Most likely part of the crew. He advanced on the group, standing a respectful distance away. He could afford to wait.
@NPC I believe the role you're looking for is electrical technician. :p

@FortunesFaded It's my hope that I'll have a post up before Monday.

EDIT: Post is up. Anton's portion is significantly shorter than Gera's, but I didn't want to shoehorn him into the interactions.

So life is sort of a bitch and I haven't gotten my dossier for Anton yet anyways, so I'm going to hold off on posting for now. Still invested here though, and want it to succeed.
@FortunesFaded Ah okay, I thought that was the official but I wasn't certain. I have a few ideas for the corporal and I might be able to knock a pilot together this weekend too.

EDIT: Character app has been updated slightly since my submission of Gera, added his personality.
@FortunesFaded Are we going to keep Skully in the RP? I could prepare an improved version of the app if you want, or make a new one if nobody else wants to.

Additionally, when will we be able to create NPCs for the Official and the Pilot? Assuming you and nobody else wants to, that is.
If I am willing to use this character in tandem with Gera, may I?

@FortunesFaded I've been Co-GM on multiple RPs on another site (plus a few here), and managing the OOC/reviewing apps essentially became by primary role. On that site, people loved the way I picked through their apps, so I guess I didn't see the need to change my behavior from site to site if I was praised for it from where I came. However, picking through their apps entailed a full review, including pros, cons, sometimes neutral points, and then an overall summary of the app + what they could have done to improve. So I guess it would be harder to feel offended in the way I did reviews.

I understand that how people take criticism varies wildly from individual to individual, a fact I wasn't considering due to the above reasons. I've taken great strides towards becoming an entirely neutral and unbiased critic from where I started, but maybe I'm not there yet. I don't know. If I ever feel the need to speak up again, I'll use a lighter hand. It's something I can do, but never really felt the need for.

TL;DR I understand where my fault lies, and will work even harder to improve. A great reviewer shouldn't be able to offend even the touchiest of individuals. That's what I'm going to achieve.
@User@FortunesFaded The "I don't mean to be a jerk" comment was serious. I didn't insult User, and after reading over my post a few times, I can say with certainty that my tone was in no way condescending. The complaints were legitimate. Just because I don't hand my criticism out on a silver platter doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. My tone was frank. Frank. I saw something wrong and I pointed it out.

And User, please don't complain about my apparant behavior towards you and then proceed to bad mouth me like I can't see it in a public place.

I had to say my piece here, as everyone else had. We can take it to PMs now or just end it here.
