【Fighting Style】

Dating back to the Edo Period when Samurai ruled Japan there was a strict belief in using the sword as a way of war and battle. Live by the sword and die by the sword, back then times were simpler and Dojo were run by masters of the art of Kenjutsu each master possessing a unique individual technique and successions style that roved to beat the rest. To learn a succession technique was just that of surpassing the old bonds between student and master and become the new teacher of the Dojo and style. And it was just as simple for a Ronin to come by and challenge the school and destroy it with the same sword used to make it. Ryouhei was one of those Dojo Masters and had mastered the Kenjutsu known as the “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” in the field of Surakon (Spirit Decomposition). Surakon is an odd art that Ryouhei had created while discovering the fact that he was more than plainly human, Ryouhei at the time believed that the gods had endowed him with more than his human qualities given that fact he was able to sense spiritual pressure and see creatures far worse than human creation, hollows. Ryouhei had used his abilities and swordsmanship to kill hollows and only accept students who had abilities such as his, few students there were. Surakon is a field of Kenjutsu that vastly deals with the capitalization of spirit particles to increase the users speed and reflexes. With the increased reflexes the user increase the ability of Iaido which deals specifically with the rapid drawing and sheathing of a sword.

The way of their fighting style is implored can be very dull at first. With their enhanced reflexes the users of the Surakon play an aggressive yet tactical way of fighting. Their reflexes allow them to press their opponents and their heightened senses allow them to counter attack and dodge an opponent’s movements swiftly. Now for the actual style “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” this legendary style was developed to allow a single samurai to defeat numerous foes single-handed. Practitioners of this style use a combination of near-superhuman speed and agility. The Surakon allows them pseudo telepathy in order to read, understand, and break down in order to avoid the enemies attack with the least amount of effort. Unfortunately for marginally stronger opponents the Surakon and style “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” take a last second dodge or even hit to fully expand on the person fighting style or attack, thus allowing them to break the technique. This effectively places themselves in the perfect position to strike in the very instant the opponent's strike misses whilst applying pressure against the target and all in the direct range of the attack.

The “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” in combination with the Surakon make for a very lethal form of Kenjutsu using tremendous power and speed with the elegance of tactical response. However there is a downside to the ability, besides the fact that the sword style is very secretive and only taught to some students with the capability of learning it there is one fatal flaw. If the techniques are seen through repetition by the user, the abilities become more clearly analyzed even for prying eyes to the point where they can be read and also broken, but not at a rate as the Surakon itself. The major flaw of the style is that the style requires constant training and the physique of pure masculinity. If the users of the style aren’t big enough muscular wise the technique will tear apart the body inside out the more wear and tear is put on the body. This debilitating side effect happens for the plain reason that the spirit particles aren’t meant for human use and using such god-like speed and power in a human vessel is inhuman. If too much strain is put on the body of a lightweight the buildup leaves the user unable to perform the art. Hence why Ryouhei is such a physical specimen, lastly the technique is passed down from master to student and once the succession technique is learned the master dies from the student performing the perfected result thus passing on the Dojo and Kenjutsu line.

Shikai Appearance:
The Shikai is more than just a regular katana, but not as preposterous as a gun or an axe. Keeping it traditional, Ryouhei's sheath or sealed Zanpakutō Is filled with reishi until a proper sword is forged in its place. Upon unsheathing the sword is a perfectly engineered katana except for one unique trait. The Hada (Steel Forging Pattern) is not just a pattern, but an integrated part of the sword. The sword itself while pristine in condition possess cracks within the blade that reveal subtle hints of glowing blue reishi. While the blade does looked cracked and damaged it still is able to cut through any other sword would, but also allows the integration of pure reishi. Other than that, the swords guard is in the shape of a Buddhist Lotus Flower while the Tsuka is a pale white.

Description:
The main ability of the users Shikai, Yusetsu is able of using one of the parent abilities of the Surakon. In Shikai the user is able to use Reishi Fission which is the ability to pull apart Reishi atoms or particles. This is where most the offensive abilities come from as they can easily degrade, break, and decay most objects and or attacks such as the “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” and Surakon teachings imply.

Surakon: Funsai (Spirit Decomposition: Pulverization)
Description:
The user uses Surakon: Funsai to create a slash absorbing Ryouhei's spiritual energy, releasing a highly condensed spiritual energy at the tip of the blade. This slash takes the form of a crescent moon or the shape of a wave. The slash itself expands rapidly in size when being propelled towards its intended target. The slash then seems to explode with a tremendous amount of force, while the exterior tips of the slash effectively restrict the size of the blast radius, resulting in the destruction of everything and anyone caught within as they are pulverized into minute particles of dust. The technique isn't limited to just affecting physical matter; it can also affect reiatsu based structures or tangible bankai's (e.g. Miyuri's Bankai). Depending on the initial shape of the slash can dictate the effectiveness of the blast. When a small wave is generated, the slash/wave possesses a relatively small blast radius, proving to show minimal amount of collateral damage. A large or massive wave would create utter destruction.

Sukaron: Uchiai (Spirit Decomposition: Exchange of Blows)
Description:
As the name implies this ability draws on the principle of reishi exchange. This is a more passive ability for his shikai but needs to be activated on command. Once the technique is used the swords passive ability kicks in. During this phase the sword has the ability to cut and reprieve reishi from whatever it cuts. However the technique is used solely on the premise of cutting their opponent. When the sword cuts the target the wound is immediately cauterized instead of bleeding as the cut removes the reishi from the wound inflicted and absorbs it into the sword and sheath. This is beatification to the enemy party since their wounds will be heated shut upon being hit. The technique doesn't stop at just simple cuts and scrapes, but focuses more on landing critical strikes. If Ryouhei were to cut someone's arm off then the arm would immediately obliterate into spirit particles and be absorbed through the sword. Thus giving off the impression the sword itself is a sentient being, hungry for particles. Once a limb is severed the large accumulation of particles is quickly stored for use in bankai. This is especially effective for arrancar with unprecedented regeneration rates. As they regenerate their limbs it just gives more source of power to Ryouhei. Now for the main reason it is called an equivalent exchange is for the simple fact is he gains regenerative abilities upon using the cultivated resihi. In bankai the regeneration is equivalent to regenerating an arm in an instant if there is a sufficient amount of reishi borrowed from the enemy.

Bankai Abilities:

Name: Surakon: Fusha (Soul Decomposition: Medium)
Description:
This is the dominant ability used by the user once they activate their Bankai. Once they trigger Bankai users of the Surakon grow this passive ability, Reishi fusion. Upon entering this stage the user relinquishes all but a small percentage of Reishi left in their body to make way for the new pure Reishi upon entering this form, the blast of Reishi exiting the body is sufficient to knock back captains and leave elite captains fighting the push. The push is used as a cover for the Bankai to fully take place. After they have relinquished their own Reishi their Zanpakuto vanishes into nothing but dust appearing as though they have obliterated their weapon almost as if the Bankai was a suicide move with no a very big punch. But you see upon seeing those two prerequisites the user become a media for Reishi. Like the Quincy or the Arrancar the user in question becomes a pure medium for Reishi, allowing them to absorb large quantities of Reishi without avail due to the Surakon allowing for the manipulation of Reishi atoms.

However instead of using fission to destroy the particles this form allows the user to bond with the Reishi atoms through fusion. The body becomes a vacuum and sucks the Reishi out of buildings by breaking down the molecules and the environment slowly over time until the max amount of Reishi can be held in the body. Full Reishi consumption takes 10 posts to surmount and afterwards Reishi will no longer bed absorbed. With their old Reishi completely renewed with the pure Reishi their Reiatsu becomes completely dominate capable of sensing to a far greater level allowing him to surpass any ability that would hides ones presence if he/she is more powerful than the opponent in question. In this form the user gains several passive abilities such as spirit weapon augmentation due to the amount of Reishi, the Zanpakuto isn’t obliterated, but only comes back as a pure condensed blade made of Reishi. Beyond the weapon augmentation the user is also gifted with powerful spiritual power.

Name: Surakon: Kireru (Soul Decompostion: Break)
Description:
After activating the Bankai stage and replenishing with the new Reishi the user’s body glows a bright blue from the pure Reishi flowing through the body. The user can channel a great amount of Reiatsu, utilizing Reishi fusion, to any body part. Particularly for this technique, the target becomes the user’s hands. Upon using this ability the user can augment the Reiatsu in their hands so much that a lieutenant or a beginner level Captain’s Zanpakuto can be stopped mid attack, be it in between the users fingers or in a full on grasp, and forcefully broken. Thus breaking the Zanpakuto into two halves and leaving the Shinigami powerless. For normal captains and Elite captains the ability only allows for softened blows from a Hand-to-hand combatant to the point where they can’t get their head crushed in one blow or enough power reduction from an attack from bringing them to the precipice of death.

Name: Surakon: Futago Kizuna (Spirit Decomposition: Twin Bonds)
Description:
Just as the name mentions this technique plays on the strengths of both the Shikai ability and that of the Bankai ability of Surakon. The first part of the technique encompasses the Shikai ability of Surakon, Reishi fission. The user’s Reishi control is so refined in this form, when user slashes his sword, toothpick sized beams shoot out in the direction of the slash. The toothpick like beams than use fission to break apart the Reishi atoms in the air and allow for small tiny controlled explosions to occur, these explosion are the power of a bala or a cero except instead of a concentrated beam or potent blast the splinters erupt like frag grenades.

The way to tell where the explosions will occur are firstly the splinters will make noise while passing through the air, and secondly right before the time of eruption the splinters will flash a glare as if someone had shined a mirror in front of the sun. However hitting another Reishi based object like a building will cause a greater explosion than an average cero. The Fusion ability of this attack is if indeed the splinters hit the target the splinters will very, very slowly drain reishi from the target and transfer the spiritual energy to the user to further increase the preparation for his final attack.

Name: Surakon: Jōshō (Spirit Decomposition: Ascension)
Description:
This is the “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” succession technique passed down to only four generations of dojo, Ryouhei being the third, his student being the fourth. After the 10 posts have been collectively gathered the user’s built up reishi manifests into a scabbard for his katana. Upon sheathing his katana the user utilizes the base art of the “Ascending Heaven’s Peak Sword Style” and prepares for an Iaido slash. However when the user acts up the Iaido the use does not slash, however the reishi built up from the 10 posts that has formed into his scabbard ejects the sword at a high velocity fusing with the katana at the last second to create a destructive final attack. With the reishi of 10 posts the katana uses its powerful speed to reach the range of a 5 mile radius of the opponent before violently exploding. As the weapon reaches the target the target only sees a large blue cross before the weapon violently explodes. However the explosion is a ploy; as it explodes into a negative zone fooling the target to think the explosion never reach as an illusion. In that second of experiencing the illusion the explosion violently collapses engulfing the target inside of the blast.

The Sage shrugged off the snake’s response, Heihachi was old, he wasn’t one for back sass. If anything Seijuro was just a dumb kid on his lawn. An explosion echoed in the background ripping through the sky. Seijuro looked back to him with his face as readable as a picture book. “The Empire leads on more than they should. We shouldn’t make it too easy for her, I’m a native of Kirigakure, born and bred. Once we get our hands on Keiko, we should make our way to the MIzukage.” Heihachi scratched at his scruffy rough pricks of hair on his chin.

The explosions of sound were muffled by the sound of the rebels and imperials ravishing each other in battle. “The only problem is she’s in the hands of the empire and most likely perched inside the Empress’s castle. If you want to use the front door be my guest, otherwise the rest is up to you. I can track her easily once I sense the use of her mokuton.” Heihachi listened tentatively as Seijuro instructed her. His conditions were made clear while Seijuro seemed to do what he was best at, slither away. Heihachi felt an odd sense of comfort from the darkness, for some reason a little foundation of trust was beginning to construct itself in his mind. “I was never one for small talk anyways.” Heihachi smirked before walking towards the large castle that was known as the Empire.

Heihachi cracked his neck while the snake and jellyfish just stood in a narrow pathway carefully evaluating each other, especially after that mini battle that had. The snake spit his tongue out again ready to lavish him with some more conveying words. He already knew about the rebellion and when it would start, but who didn’t at this point. He did possess valuable information though .If he stuck with the snake maybe he could extort some information that would lead him to take the empress down. The snake slithered his way up to the surface, didn’t he want to keep his presence a secret? Regardless Heihachi didn’t even know of this man, so how would anyone else recognize him. Whoever he was, if he was seen mingling with Heihachi, no one would question it. The Jellyfish promptly followed the snake up the manhole and back onto the dark streets of Konoha. The rebellion would start any minute.

”A mask?” Heihachi realized this man was a snake, but he didn’t need a mask to conceal that fact. “So far I know just as much as you do. If I’m not certain, you may know than you lead on snake. For one before we help each other we need to find the senju among their ranks.”

The duo had seemingly found their way back into the streets of Konoha, yet it just seemed to be Heihachi by himself rather than he and a snake. Regardless, Heihachi peered around before jumping down the manhole after the snake. If death was not his shadow already, it might soon be. Seijuro’s invisible guise had worn out and now they had been visible to each other once more. Eyes connected once more, Heihachi was ready to dispel any genjutsu he had fell for the first time. The windows to their souls had been open allowing information to solemnly peer into adjacent windows.

Ready for Seijuro to beguile him into something even more treasonous, he allowed him the floor, intuitively listening. Heihachi was indeed famous especially among the Rebels and even some of the Empire, he had lived through more halcyon eras than most. Yet this was something that he had already known about himself, Seijuro merely enforced it. "Fool you once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you, Senju." that sentence stung like venom. “Indeed, but I have not gotten this fair by taking precautions. I live by the book and the sword, not by weightless words of men. There is only one man I trust, and that is not you Seijuro.” Heihachi spouted while his wrinkled face pressed on. He was indeed wasting his time, with the little show of fireworks in the warehouse had torn him away from the village and the night to follow, Arano would have to be by himself until his meeting was over. But, Seijuro was right about one thing. He was indeed curious. While he did value respect and power, he had finally cracked the egg on this reconnaissance mission.

” The enemy of my enemy is my friend” His bushy greyed eyebrows had furrowed and cocked upwards. It was true he had clear disdain for the Empire and the Empress himself, but why did Seijuro need to destroy the empire? It was certainly good to have an ally in the darkness, but one that orchestrated the warring tides like puppets was never completely reliable. The same fate shared by many organizations in his past. Lowering his eyebrows and inhaling an exuberant amount of air, Hiehachi began to speak. “You haven’t led me astray yet. If I’m signing my life away to ensure the destruction of the Empire, I can at least live the rest of my life with purpose. A martyr to the cause. However if I even catch a scent of your coiling constricting nature, I will leave my life with every last breathe in order to wreathe the head on your shoulders.” Heihachi still looking into the eyes of the snake. “I accept your offer. When do we begin?”
