That was the only word that the redheaded young man could find to describe the campus before him. Having lived in Hub City all his life and being used to cramped skyscrapers and crowded city streets, an academy with wide open fields and a lake to boot seemed so... Foreign to him. In fact, one could say that he felt intimidated.
But he doesn't back down. His name isn't Franklin Roger Sage for nothing. His father resisted psychological torture in a Cadmus facility for a week straight. His mother survived seeing her family killed before her. Surely, he could survive living and learning in a simple academy if even a fraction of their combined willpower made its way into his genetics. Then again, willpower isn't exactly a genetic trait, so his willpower wouldn't be affected by...
"Shut up, Frank." Frank muttered to himself, shaking his head to clear it of these thoughts. He shouldn't think so pessimistically on the first day. Sure, it was true that willpower isn't a genetic trait so his resolve could be stronger or weaker than that of his parents, but that doesn't mean he should tell himself that considering it's meant to help him cope. His father was The Question, and his mother was Huntress, so naturally their offspring would be tough-as-nails.
To calm himself, Frank took a sip from the styrofoam cup in his hand, the sugary sweet coffee seeming to soothe his nerves ('Or maybe it's just feeding my craving for caffeine,' Frank mused mentally). In addition to this, he reached into his pocket with his other hand and petted Frankie, mostly just to ensure that his furry friend was there for him.
Yeah. He can do this.
Frank wasn't surprised to see he wasn't the first person there, glancing at his future peers as they arrived and taking note of how different they all seemed. He noted that one of them, a young woman maybe a year younger than him with bright red hair and blue eyes, was among the first to actually enter through the gates instead of just loitering around the entrance. Figuring it was unwise to prolong the inevitable, Frank sighed, chugging down the rest of his coffee as he made his way through the gates and onto the campus proper.
'I'm Frank fricking Sage. I can handle this.' He assured himself mentally, despite the anxiousness in his stomach ('Or perhaps that's just my stomach acting up from all the damned coffee,' Frank thought to himself). He wasn't going to back down now.
"I'm Frank fricking Sage." He repeated, this time aloud, and that seemed to give him the confidence he needed to get on with the day.
I am completely lost on how to make a timetable, but I do have Frank's other classes ready: Information Technology Journalism History Science Meta-Human/Inhuman Knowledge Combat and Self-Defense Parkour World Studies
So... @Vicier, sorry to add onto your timetable workload, but could you please make one for Frank?
Name: Franklin Roger Sage Nick-Names: Frank Alias: Inquisitor Gender: Male Occupation: Student Place Of Origin: Hub City Age: 19 Date Of Birth: March 15th, 1998 Appearance - Human:Frank stands at 5'11", and has a slim but fit build, weighing in at 149 pounds. His hair (which is naturally a dark red, due to his father's bright red hair and mother's black hair) is usually hidden under a fedora, and his face is usually clean-shaven.
Relationship Information
Relationship Status: Single and ready to mingle Sexuality: Heterosexual Partner: N/A Father: The Question (Charles Victor Szasz, most commonly known as Vic Sage) Mother: Huntress (Helena Sage, nee Bertinelli) Siblings: N/A Pets: A mouse named Franklin Roger Sage, Jr, or Frankie. Usually in Frank's coat pocket or in a cage in Frank's dorm. Other: N/A
Personal Information
Personality Franklin Roger Sage, being the offspring of Vic Sage, is very... Eccentric, for lack of a better word. Though he isn't exactly insane, he's definitely not a good example of a healthy mental state. He is paranoid, believing that most things have sinister motives, and is rather anti-social, hating things like incessant chatter and small talk. When he takes a liking to someone (be it romantic or otherwise), he will never actually admit it unless pressed, but it shows in that he's much more willing to assist them in even the smallest things.
When in costume, Frank likes to channel a noir-esque man of mystery vibe; his costume usually reminds people of a detective from a noir movie (albeit without the face), and his personality in costume is that of a brooding man of few words. Frank enjoys scaring his enemies before taking them out, which shouldn't be too hard considering the fact that his costume literally has no face. His treatment of criminals is much more brutal than what most heroes would approve of, Frank leaving most of them with more than their fair share of broken bones.
When out of costume, Frank is similarly quiet and brooding. People normally don't approach him, mostly due to his standoffish behavior and reputation as a nutcase. As mentioned earlier, he doesn't particularly enjoy social interaction with most people, and likes to keep things brief most of the time. However, if someone draws his interest, he will be more pleasant and open with them; and, should he grow close to someone, he would let them in on the specifics of The Conspiracy.
In short, an unstable individual that most likely has Asperger's.
Likes and Dislikes ✔ Coffee ("I usually put so much sugar in my coffee that it has close to the consistency of syrup.") ✔ Rainy days ("The soft pitter-patter of rain always gives you time to think.") ✔ Blue M&Ms ("The true underdog of M&Ms, forever underrepresented.") ✔ Bubblegum pop music ("... Their true purposes are sinister.")
Hobbies: *Hacking into the databases of government agencies *Adding onto The Conspiracy *Reviewing data for days on end *Mini-golf
Strengths: ⚜ Adept hand-to-hand combatant ⚜ Adept ranged combatant (mostly crossbows and the like) ⚜ Great detective ⚜ Great hacker
Weaknesses: ☠ Glass jaw (it doesn't take a lot to knock him out) ☠ Mentally unstable (while still technically sane, Frank is... A bit eccentric, which can lead to problems at times) ☠ Anti-social ☠ Paranoid
Brief Biography: Franklin was raised in Hub City by his mother, Huntress, and his father, the Question. He was not aware of their dual lives as heroes until he was eleven, and after learning of their secret decided he wanted to follow in their footsteps. His parents, though hesitant at first, agreed to train him, Frank quickly picking up on most of their skills (and also inheriting his father's paranoia upon learning about The Conspiracy). When Frank was fifteen, his father passed away from lung cancer. His mother was heartbroken, and retired from crimefighting, though she still trained Frank (albeit without the enthusiasm she once had when training him). Recently, the Academy opened up, and his mother sent him there to train rather than continue to train him herself.
Powers and Abilities
Frank has no powers to speak of. However, he is highly intelligent, so that's a plus.
Other Information
Other: Frank has arachnophobia ("OH DEAR CHRIST IN HEAVEN, KILL IT, KILL IT, KILL IT WITH FIRE!" - Frank, upon discovering a daddy long legs in his bedroom). It's a well-kept secret, but should he ever encounter a spider when other people are nearby, they'll most definitely find out. Frank's costume is almost identical to his father's, save for the fact that he foregoes the blue and yellow color scheme for more bland colors. See this photo for an example.
Theme Song
Theme Song: It's A Jungle Out There - Randy Newman "It's a jungle out there Poison in the very air we breathe Do you know what's in the water that you drink? Well I do, and it's amazing People think I'm crazy, 'cause I worry all the time If you paid attention, you'd be worried too You better pay attention Or this world we love so much might just kill you"

Hollis Dreiberg
General Information
Name: Hollis Walter Dreiberg Nick-Names: Affectionately called Holly by his mother, though that doesn't mean he likes it when other people call him that. Alias: Nite Hawk Gender: Male Occupation: Student Place Of Origin: New York City (specifically Brooklyn), New York Age: 19 Date Of Birth: October 12th, 1997 Appearance - Human: Hollis stands at 6'3 and weighs 154 pounds, being extremely lanky and having an undeniably awkward air about him. Has a slight build, with muscles that aren't apparent until you find yourself knocked on your ass by a punch. Wears horn-rimmed glasses out of costume, wears contacts under goggles in costume. Keeps his face clean-shaven and his hair neatly combed to the side. Usually wears short-sleeved button-up shirts over plain t-shirts, with jeans and sneakers.
Relationship Information
Relationship Status: Single Sexuality: Heterosexual, though he is bi-curious. Partner: N/A Father: Daniel Dreiberg, AKA Nite Owl II Mother: Laurie Dreiberg (nee Juspeczyk/Jupiter), AKA Silk Spectre II Siblings: From what Hollis understands, he has a missing sister. Whenever he asks his parents about her, he is quickly hushed, which led him to believe it was a touchy subject. As such, he doesn't speak of her. Pets: N/A Other: His grandmother, Sally Juspeczyk/Jupiter (AKA Silk Spectre I), who passed away in 2005; and his grandfather, Edward Blake (AKA The Comedian), who passed away in 1985.
Personal Information
Personality Hollis takes after his father, being very timid and polite in any social situation. He doesn't like to argue with people, being a very non-confrontational person, often cowing down to insults (because of this, he is frequently described as a push-over). If they persist, he will attempt to calm the person down or, failing that, will just walk away. However, if these insults are directed at any of his family members, he will not be so tolerant. Due to his timid nature, Hollis tries not to draw attention to himself, frequently blending in with the crowd because of this.
In costume, Hollis is vastly different. He is much more outspoken and determined, taking it upon himself to be a group's tactician and always ensuring that his opinions are heard. Before fights, Hollis likes to give his enemies a choice: stand down or fight. Of course, they almost always take the latter option, but he still likes to give them the choice. Hollis doesn't like to drag fights out longer than they have to be, usually doing whatever he can to ensure his opponent(s) goes down fast.
In short, a level-headed and polite young man out of costume, and a level-headed and polite badass in costume.
Likes and Dislikes ✔ Stories about his parents' exploits as heroes ('Can you tell me about how Rorschach dropped that guy down an elevator shaft again?') ✔ Coffee ('God's gift to man: a steaming cup of rich, black coffee.') ✔ Good food ('As they say in France: bon appétit.') ✔ Silence ('People are too loud for their own good.') ✘ Rude and/or arrogant people ('Why can't we just be friends?') ✘ Staying up past midnight, with the exception of patrols ('God never meant for humans to stay up this late.') ✘ Bad food ('... I'm supposed to eat this?') ✘ People insulting his family ('You say one more thing about my mother, and I'll break your jaw.')
Strengths: ⚜ Hollis is an excellent listener, knowing when to keep quiet and just let someone talk. ⚜ When he needs to be, Hollis can be charismatic, putting on a charming grin and letting out some honeyed words. ⚜ In contrast to some heroes, who would rather rush in and wing it, Hollis is very calculated, preferring to come up with a plan of attack instead of being impulsive. ⚜ It takes a lot to make Hollis angry.
Weaknesses: ☠ Due to his observational and quiet nature, Hollis is very often over-looked and forgotten when compared to his more outspoken peers. ☠ Due to having no formal training, Hollis can easily be taken out if his opponent is stronger or more skilled. ☠ Hollis has no skill in the use of ranged weapons (save for his grappling hook, if that counts as a ranged weapon). ☠ Hollis, though usually calm, collected, and very hard to piss off, is easily angered if someone insults his family members.
Brief Biography: Hollis Walter Dreiberg was born to Daniel Dreiberg and Laurie Dreiberg, two costumed heroes who had been active for twelve years after an eight year retirement. He grew up knowing of his parents' dual lives, and though they never encouraged that lifestyle, his grandmother did, and the idea of taking down criminals in tight spandex appealed to Hollis for whatever reason. It was clear from a young age that he was set on becoming a hero, like his parents and grandparents before him, despite his parents' protests.
After years of begging, Hollis started training at the age of 14, and continued to do so until he was 18. He proved to be an apt pupil, quickly picking up on the skills he was taught which went hand-in-hand with his natural abilities. Last year, when the treaty was signed, his parents retired and stopped training Hollis. However, they encouraged him to go to the Academy when it opened up to continue his training, and so here he is.
Abilities
High IQ - Hollis is very intelligent, having taken after his father when it comes to his mind.
Agile - While Hollis gained his father's brains, he also gained his mother's body, being very agile when compared to most people. This includes being able to demonstrate impressive feats of acrobatic ability, like flips, cartwheels, and the like.
Skilled Combatant - Hollis was trained by both of his parents in the art of hand-to-hand combat. His fighting style is mostly a combination of boxing and street fighting rather than an actual martial art.
Gadgets - Hollis has a vast array of gadgets at his disposal. This includes: night-vision goggles, a gas-powered grappling hook, smoke bombs, a respirator mask, and the crown jewel, Archie, a flying ship in the shape of an owl that can also act as a submarine.
Other Information
Other: Hollis is named after Hollis Mason, AKA Nite Owl I, and Walter Kovacs, AKA Rorschach. Hollis is most definitely a mama's boy.
Oh hey. I was in the last one. The GMs and anyone who joined that probably don't remember me, but just figured I'd say that anyway. So yeah. I'm here with a new character. He probably sucks, but then again I did whip him up while running on two hours of sleep.

@Crossfire hehe, nope, just procrastination, school and other IRL things. Meant to finish this sooner, but, y'know. 1. Laser. 2. Plated. 3. Well that's a shame, considering this character's whole thing is that he's an 'ace pilot' and all that. If Banana didn't mind and you were okay with it, then I'd like Ace to be the co-pilot. If not, then I'll find a way to rework the character so it makes sense that he's there (because we already have two skilled pilots, so we don't need another one [even if he can outfly both of them]).
Either or is fine with me, though I'd prefer to hold off on introducing Ace until my computer is fixed (which might come a lot sooner than I thought, thankfully).
Finally got my character finished, but it's not my best work. However, my computer was recently fried (I'm posting this from a friend's) and I can't repair it for a month or so, so posts will likely be few and far between, and that's if I can even post at all.
Name: 'Ace' Age/Race/Gender: Designed to appear around early to mid thirties (chronologically 19); Android; identifies as male. Appearance: Click. Stands at six feet tall and appears to be rather slim, but weighs a little under half a ton due to his metal insides. Sadly, not outfitted with extremities. Wears this jacket over the clothing in the photo. Occupation: Freelance pilot, smuggler and occasional trumpeter when all else fails. Weapons: This baby. It fires eight shots before it needs to be reloaded. Virtually recoilless, as it is light-weight and the grip contorts to the shooter's hand. Ace is also fond of using automatic assault rifles or SMGs when he can find them, but does not own one. Armor: While weapons can easily cut through his skin, under it is a heavily armored endoskeleton. However, he is fond of wearing this armor for some reason. It is officially known as Toranma Inc. Light Infiltrator Armor, but Ace calls it 'my second skin'. Items: A few tools on a belt (in case he needs to repair himself or his weapons in combat), a picture (if he gets around to opening up to someone on the crew, he'll reveal what is. Until then, it's a secret to everybody), an old zippo lighter, and a pack of Pall Mall cigarettes (with only six left, sadly). Skills: Ace Pilot: Where else do you think his name comes from? Ace is, well, an ace pilot, in fact he's probably one of the greatest in the galaxy. By his own calculations, the probability of crashing if he's flying the ship is 0.004% (however, he does have an extremely inflated ego so this is probably false, more than likely for worse than for the better). Crackshot: Ace is a crackshot with pistols and is adept in the use of assault rifles and SMGs. However, he has no knowledge in the use of shotguns, heavy machine guns, sniper rifles, etc. Powers: (Technically) Unkillable: Due to being an android, Ace doesn't age and cannot die of natural causes. In fact, he could survive being obliterated so long as his memory chip survives. However, if his memory chip is destroyed then Ace as everyone knows him would cease to be. Other: Ace is heterosexual. Sadly, he can't have sex due to the aforementioned lack of extremities, but at least he can admire. Ace cannot get drunk, high, etc., but can taste things. More will be added overtime.
