Hmmm... Since it would be a Summer thing, maybe it's tied to Summer School, though not sure how it would lead to him passing a high school English class :D. Though, the idea of it being a sponsored event from Angel Grove High gives me ideas to have Miss Morgan from Dino Charge as a teacher and the main chaperone for the event.

Well, Elliot from Questionable Content is one of the major inspirations for the character. A very big guy, a little squishy. Probably shaggy hair. Originally I was thinking blond, but I don't want him looking too much like Finn.

Also while looking at Finn's zord and wondering how would one cram themselves into it ala Hulkbuster, I got an odea that it could have an autonomous dragon mode, and fold into a humanoid armor mode like the red dragon thunderzord. Just an idea.

Hmmm... I'm wondering if I should rework my original idea for the origin to say Tommy and Shelby are on a Summer internship at Amber Beach Dinosaur Museum instead, and the earthquake happens there and reveals the ship in a deep cave. Or rather, instead of an internship, it could be part of a fundraiser, and then they could all be there, the earthquake hits, they all fall into a deeper cave, and with no visible way back up, they head into a series of tunnels to hunt for a different way out, and stumble upon the ship. If we did that, we could all get our Ranger powers at the same time.

@WindsOfFate If you want, Granny Udonna could see an advertisement for the upcoming fundraiser, and she receives a vision, insisting that Sa'Cha must go as well.

Power Rangers: Dragon Fury

I'm probably going to post the story intro this weekend, it's going to take a bit to write it all and I work all week. You can expect the intro to be novel-quality, and it's going to be at least twice as long as Tommy's bio. It will briefly snap back to the past, and then open with Tommy in Antarctica. I will detail out the earthquake, him discovering the ship, and his first encounter with Zordon. Also, I've decided I am going to play a second character from the beginning, and it's going to be a reworking of Shelby from Dino Charge. She's also an intern under Tommy's uncle, and I'm going to play her as an awkward ubergeek. She will get overly excited about a lot of stuff and will fill a similar role to Cisco in The Flash, coming up with all kinds of corny nicknames for things that were originally called by alien names.

"Wait, you're Zordon and these are kick-ass exosuits you created? Ooh! I know! We can call them Zords! And we need awesome call-outs! Like... it's morphin time!" and everyone else just shakes their heads, hahahahaha.

I love that idea. To summon them it requires blood and that drains the caster, but allows him to bring forth one of the three. He can bring forth all three but it will cause significant pain. Each of the dragons is only about 11 - 12 feet tall. Do you want me to put that in his character sheet?

Although my initial thought was to have three new Rangers - one for each egg - as sort of a subset within the larger Ranger team, it would be cool to have Sa'Cha use all three. Perhaps the main dragon he bonds with takes the form of like a cat-sized creature when not in combat and sits on his shoulder making wisecracks to the group, haha. If we go with the three magic Ranger idea, I may make an extra character to use one of the eggs as well. However, before putting that in your char sheet, I'll PM you in a little bit and we can hash out the details there before deciding.

Should I still post my character here before moving to the other thread?

Hey Gisk, your character looks good! Feel free to post it in the CS section of the main thread :D. As for your question about faceclaims, it really depends. I generally do a Google Image search and then download copies, edit and resize them as necessary, and then upload them to my Imgur. I will then use image tags ( [ img ] and [ / img ] without the spaces) to embed them into my posts. Sometimes, if there is a specific actor or model I want to use, I will go to their Instagram to search for pics. My Imgur and my folders on my SSD have literally hundreds of images I've used for various RPs over the years, but I used to have a lot more on Yahoo and Photobucket back in the day (I've been RPing on message boards since 2002, lol).

Okay, cool! If he ends up not being a Ranger, one idea is to have him bond with a dragon egg they find and then the hatchling could grow to be sort of a "living Zord" for him or something. We could even have three dragon eggs and have sort of like a subset of Rangers who utilize a magical equivalent of the Nanosuit. Perhaps Udonna designed these to create extra Rangers during the fight against Bandora, and after that conflict was over and the dragons were nearly extinct, she bonded them to the last three dragon eggs and placed them in stasis, hiding them away to keep them out of the wrong hands. If this is something you're interested in, I'll flesh the idea out more. We don't have to decide right now, tough.

Nice! And I'm going to be creating our own opening theme using modded footage in the Sims 4, with which I'll create Sims as close to the character portraits as possible and give them make-shift Ranger suits. Feel free to reply with your character's typical non-Ranger attire and I'll get it is close as possible. The opening will likely have a musical theme that is sort of a fusion of several PR songs spliced together, and it will show each of our characters in human form and Ranger form with credits showing the user name and the character name: "Captain Manbeard as Tommy Miyazoko," for example.

Then I will use a slew of mods to create epic fight scenes set to the music, and I may go back and create updated openings as the story unfolds, sort of like different seasons of a TV show.
