I finally got around to watching A Silent Voice. Very nice to see some deaf culture representation in anime.

So it has come to my attention that I should probably base my characters backstory around the King. SO whoever plays the King PM me so we can discuss.
@Burthstone Sweet, a friend.

Bullet's gonna meet a Dark Mage? Does he get to punch him?
I'm not sure if I'll have the time between my other roleplays.

But, Wolf's Rain is literally one of my favorite shows (It's been years since I watched it tho so maybe I should re-watch it in preparation for this). I'll express my interest for now and see how things go.
@Burthstone *is booped*
I'll write up my queen soon.

I'd do it at eight in the morning. I'm crazy like that.

ME TOO GIRLFRIEND. (ik ur a boy but I use it as a gender neutral phrase atm)

Also before I bought a fighter arcade stick thingy I used to prefer the xbox 360 controller for Blazblue over the playstation one. It just felt nicer.
@Lunarlors34 My family can't get me to watch movies with them because, as much as I enjoy family fun time, I also enjoy watching good movies. And they never watch good movies. I mean my family thinks that Fox makes good television shows. I can't trust their opinion as long as my sisters try to convince me that "Jane the Virgin" isn't a crap show.

I realise that probably makes me sound pretentious as hell. I'm not even going to defend that, I'm super pretentious and harsh when it comes to media. It's probably my most recognisable flaw and I feel sorry for anyone that has to endure watching anything with me.
@Silver Fox That's the best way to enjoy stuff. I'm kind of just the type of person that likes to pick apart media. It's fun for me. A lot of people are kinda just like "oh why can't you just shut up and enjoy it?" and I'm like... PART of my enjoyment of something is the fun I have analysing it afterwards.

Besides it's not like the creators of the show care about my opinion. Even if they did and I hurt their feelings, they still have their piles of money to cry in.
@Lunarlors34 Hey, if you like NaLi then you do you my friend. Don't let the haters stop the power of shipping. Personally, I'm one of the many hordes of people that adore NaLu. To be honest though it might not even be Lucy, it might just be Natsu. He's like such a stereotypical "I will protect my friends!" type character. But I'm so in love with that type of guy. Like who doesn't wanna have that kind of guy as your best bud?

@Silver Fox It's just not for everyone really. Also don't even talk to me about ponies.

And just for the record here, if anyone here likes MLP please don't think I'm hating on you. If you like it, then you go ahead and you like it don't let my cynicism and over-criticalness deter you from what you like.

So I watched like the first two seasons of MLP and I... well I get it. It's cute, it has some pretty decent music actually not even going to lie, and who doesn't love a cute little story about friendship? I only stopped watching it when the creators became self aware of who their fanbase actually was and the show kind of stopped catering to little girls and started catering more to the bronies.

I took big issue with this, because part of the charm of the show was just how innocent it was. Like it was the kind of thing that I never really obsessed over or thought about. It was just a cute little show I could enjoy with my, at the time, baby sister. So I basically stopped watching. And then there was a big thing about the bronies coming over to Steven Universe and they basically wanted to do the same thing (They wanted to be called the 'Gemtlemen'. The creators of the show basically shut this down by saying that they didn't need to segregate themselves from the other fans with a name and they should just enjoy it with everyone else.

So I'm glad that happened because elitist bronies actually make me embarrassed for actually giving the show a chance and being pleasantly surprised.

Rant over.

Steven Universe is also one I generally dislike xD

We can't be friends.

I can understand that. In all honesty it has a much younger target audience compared to Adventure Time and other cartoons. I just appreciate it because it's diverse, unique, doesn't rely on cliches for cheap humor. It also doesn't rely on offensive humor like other cartoons (Like there are quite a lot of larger characters, MAIN characters even, in Steven Universe and there are absolutely 0 fat jokes).

Idk Steven Universe to me is the definition of a quality kids show. It doesn't teach any harmful messages (Unless you're a homophobe and count the obvious gayness between certain characters), it has effort put into it and isn't just slapped together because kids are stupid and watch anything, and it's so CUTE I LOVE IT *WRAPS UP IN STEVEN UNIVERSE BLANKET*
