Fandoms You Like/Dislike

Star wars, if only because fans AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME you like Star Wars. That and you can actually meet these people without trying to, unlike every other fandom where you basically have to seek them out on purpose/have to seek them out specifically on the internet.

I think even the term 'gamer' is somewhat toxic, especially nowadays. as a kid in the 90s games were another hobby as well as sports, reading, music etc. But no one defined themselves as a 'gamer' because is so subjective. How long do you have to play games to be a gamer? What games count as 'gamer' games? mobile games? console games? PC games? Do genres count what if you only play chess simulators but on a console?

The idea that this 'group' could be attacked is stupid because the group isn't defined by anything exhuastive.

As a straightforward person, the word gamer is meaningless, as a sarcastic person, I'd define gamer as "Bioshock? Yeah that game had a cool plot twist! Wait, Atlas Shrugged, what's that? Is that a new game?"

TBH, ever since I realized that gamers took the evaluation of subjective art as something that could be objectively measured, I've had to double check anything gamers say just to confirm they aren't just stupid.

I find it funny that Anita who was one of the band leaders of that particular issue has been exposed as a Go fund Queen that doesn't keep her word

I don't know all about her goings on, but I do know that most video series on youtube that rag on her take most of her words and actions incredibly out of context.



Not a fan of the fact she literally stopped making the video series she funded and instead went through "
Twenty media appearances and interviews" and "Mentored a Women in Tech public speaking workshop" until recently. Then again, she also created all 12 of the videos she said she would and more and who am I to decide how quickly she outputs content?
