Is that how you get visitor messages? I thought you got them by being cool. ... oh, shit, I forgot I had any.

If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Trinity Stratos

@Silver Fox@Burthstone
Trinity gave a thoughtful, though dissatisfied, hum as Karn continued to try and distract her with tails of his time spent training. "I suppose I just didn't notice you were gone because I took a job with Fleo and Ariel. We went to Omnibus. Such a cacophonous place... I don't think I could go to a place like that often. We went to a bar, got a lead. There was this peculiar barrier we had to disable before we could resolve things, it had some six layers to it. Fought a couple wizards and saved a young lady's life." The minstrel watched Karn for a moment while she pet Mithera, considering how long she should pursue this right now. Really, she should wait until after the fights were done, but who knows if he'd let her catch him. Would he avoid her like that? She wasn't sure.

"It would have left a bad taste in my mouth if we hadn't been able to save that woman..." The petting stopped and she looked aside, thoughtful, remembering how she felt when she thought they had failed. She took a slow breath before looking back up at Karn. "Karn, I only want to help you. Please? You," she paused only long enough to quickly glance at her surroundings and remember where they were, "don't have to tell me about it right now, but... please." She started scratching lightly at the side of Mithera's neck and she nuzzled her cheek against the fuzzy creature's side, but she still watched Karn.
"Gotcha. Book nerd." Trinity nods approvingly as the boat pulls up to dock at the town. She steps off and helps Slytheria onto land, before turning and motioning to the town before them. There's a very large tree with crystals growing in clusters from the branches, like fruit. Fairys flutter about the tree, buzzing about amongst the branches and with players milling around the tree. Shops and walkways seem to have been somehow shaped into the tree naturally, housing a fair portion of the town within its trunk and among its branches.

"Fairies allow you to travel through the poisonous miasma that coats the land. Their very presence keeps it at bay. Trees like this one, and crystals like the ones growing on the branches, but bigger, also keep miasma at bay. You'll find large player hubs at trees like this, with smaller settlements with shops and local goods built up around a crystal growth.

"So, with your own fairy, you can play the game without needing a guide. Worth it for some people, not for others."
Fine, fine. @Silver Fox, we posted. :D
I figure she might actually be looking for it, this time. But, perhaps.
Trinity Stratos

Uhg. He missed the point entirely! She looked to watch Sasha's match against Shujin, for just a moment, before her attention returned to Karn. Aaah, it seemed as though he understood her intention now. She appraises him, and then her surroundings, considering discretion.

Nope. It was his health they were talking about, and he should definitely talk to them about it! The fact that he avoided the subject so blatantly and desperately only told her it was more serious. She gave a dissatisfied growl and folded her arms. "Karn. Your health is very important, and it doesn't do to hide these things from people who care about you, especially when we might be able to help. We're mages. How long has it been a condition?"

She looks up from eye contact with Karn to see a nervous, fluffy dragon on top of Karn's head. She holds her arms up and motions for Mithera to jump into them, so she can hold her against her shoulder. It wasn't long before she turned her eyes to Karn again, however.
