While she hid amongst her guild, Trinity had time to think about all this. They each had counterparts in Edolas, right? And from the stories she'd heard from the other members, her Edolas version of herself and of Karn were close. If Karn was talking about her Edolas self like that, then... Where was Sasha? Trinity fell to the back of the group, scanning the guild for one in particular, before she'd hear someone coming from behind. She turned and saw Sasha approaching, stopping to wait for her to catch up before walking with her. "There you are. Uh, question. You remember your trip to Edolas, right? What was my Edolas version like?"

The way Karn was walking made it hard to watch him discretely. She had to find excuses to stop and lag behind occasionally. A cute dog, fashion shops, stay away from alleys, instrument shops, stay away from alleys, a flower shop. She was visible, so even if Kregor did show up, he wouldn't be able to do anything in front of witnesses. They'd call guard on him right away, and Crocus should be prepared for a wizard threat, of all places. Though, Kregor's magic is...

The young wizard was letting paranoia catch up to her when she picked up to a light jog, to catch herself up with the rest of the guild. Karn was following everyone else. She knew where he'd be, she could just wiggle her way to the middle and find him later. Right.

"My... Edolas version?" Oh yeah, she remembered that. Some of the members disappeared in that weird light for a few months. It was the day she joined the guild. And what a first day that had been. Jarvis bade her go, and she didn't disagree. "Alright. I'll see you at the Arena, Jarvis." The young lady turned to leave, waving her farewell before she'd jog ahead. She should show up on time, today.

Her Edolas version, huh? Was something going on with Edolas, again?

Well, Karn had given the obvious answer. After he wrested herself from her grip, Trinity adjusted the robes that Karn had slightly disheveled, the red just beginning to fade from her cheeks. And then Karn spoke again, and she bristled slightly. He moved in and pat her on the waist, and softly on the cheek before dancing away. He left, with the rest of the guild, to go to the Arena.

That wasn't Karn, was it? He called her Dollface and Doll and... and... "Who the hell is Highlights?" Trinity huffed, cooling her temper before she, herself, began to head to the arena. On the way past the guild's hotel, she spotted Jarvis, and headed toward him to talk. "Okay, so. When you find Claire? Prince, whatever. Karn's acting really weird. He called me Doll and Dollface. And he said 'even if you aren't Highlights', well who's Highlights? When did he get so... vulgar? Eugh." Trinity grumbles and shuffles a bit in place, before realizing, "I should be getting to the arena. Anything you need from me, Jarvis?"
