Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards
I love Log Horizon, need to catch up on it (My last RP of it was about a year ago I think). Anyway will every aspect be strictly canon? Or will we be allowed to make custom Sub-classes/Titles?
I think it was stated that there will be custom subclasses and titles and that we can play as class from other servers. Custom classes might also be a thing
Of course! Write up a CS and we'll start from there.
@ClocktowerEchos Well the synthesizer could make ammunition out of materials found aboard the station, preferably of quality composition while still being possible to make lower quality materials into lower quality ammunition. Also, I don't mind someone else having nanomachines, I'm sure in a galactic senate there are plenty of races that do. The mantlet is folded up and attached to the back of the engineer's exosuit, it's made of the same stuff as the power armor (albeit thinner) and once its unfolded it can cover, generously, three people; it's mainly to protect the engineer or medic as they work.
Also, all of the stuff they have is designed for bullets, I understand that whatever you have planned isn't going to be stumped by thick armor but if the Vatani really didn't know that they wouldn't be deployed wearing paper bags. And do you want me to go into more detail on their training and personal capabilities?
Would the synthesizer require its materials be of a certain size or can you stick a giant chunk of rebar into it for bullets and does it also make the magazine? Also, do you need to place it down like the mantel or is it something that runs in the background as the user is doing stuff?
All in all, you're stuff is looking good though, can't wait to see you on the station.
@Guilty SparkLooking good but I have some bones to pick
The specialization, it seems like you're troops aren't exactly elite in the terms of training/discipline/moral but are have more of a technological superiority in equipment. Given all the things in your CS, I'd say that having nanotech would be your speciality although @RomanAria had been talking to me privately about from the Int Check. Not saying you can't have it, just be aware someone else might also have it. Or you two could talk it out in PMs or something.
The ammunition synthesizer is somewhat troubling to me. Does it mean that you're guy has a finate amount of resources to make bullets or can he bascially warp in bullets? Does he have to set it down for it to work or can he do it on the fly? Sorry if I'm sounding whinny about it, but I feel that there is less of a horror feel to a horror game (or RP in this case) when you can spam bullets at that nasty looking beasties over there instead of hoping the half a mag you have left will be enough to protect you from the scary noises in the air vents.
On a similar note with the mantel, how large is it exactly and whats it made of? I'll assume its deployable in some way and I'm not questioning it as much as the other stuff I've mentioned, I'm just curious.
As a general notice to everyone, technology will not keep you safe, hiding behind large amounts of metal and electronics will only make your vulenerable to that less-tech reliant platoons don't have to worry about quite as much. Everything has its pros and cons. Remember, the beasties don't care if you're wearing fancy power or fancy 19th century uniforms, you are still very tasty on the inside :P
One thing I've learned is to try different words and also use the "more images" button when you click the image you like/look cool. Its the last one in the littler grid with the other, smaller pictures.
Something else you can do is look on dA, tumblr, blogspot, pintrest, etc since they usually have really good artists on them.
You can also find a picture and make your unit around that if you wish, just an alternate method.
Ryuans or more commonly just Ryukyuans are tall, humanoid creatures with females standing at an average of 5' 10" and males averaging around 6' 1". The most noticeable trait they have are devil-like tails on their backs. They mature faster than humans reaching adulthood around 14 (but mentally they mature around 18) and can live long lives should the right conditions be met. Other appearance differences include longer fingers and "dual layered" eyes that some of the population has (the term "dual layered" means that while the eye has a solid color, their is another color on a "layer" behind it).
Most Ryukyuans can only use 80%-90% of the psychical strength a human could use but their brain capacity is 10%-20% greater than that of humans. Certain individuals will also express a rare gene that causes their mental power to grow to 50% or even 60% greater than that of humans. The Empire often stated these persons who usually become engineers, researches and the likes as the reason why the Empire's technology has advanced so quickly.
Total Size: 21 (2 squads of 7 soldiers and 3 robots lead by a Lieutenant)
Traditions: Ryukyuan Code of Honor dictates that swords must be used instead of knives, citing knives as "dishonorable hidden weapons" AI and AI controlled robots are considered as living as organic beings Everyone must serve, gender is no excuse for service to the Divine Golden Emperor The Divine Golden Emperor is God, you are his loyal followers Die for the Emperor or Die trying

The Type 99 can change between semi-automatic and a three round burst and comes in several variants like a carbine version that is lighter and shorter to a DMR version with a longer barrel and bipod.
Common weapon seen across both military and police, the Type 100 is a rapid fire SMG excellent for suppressing or in areas where accuracy is less of a concern. They're commonly found aboard ship armories and private security guards. Has a suppressed version and can mount scopes/sights.
A gun with a legacy, the Type 14 is regarded within the Imperium as the best gun ever made, having served as the standard sidearm for well over a century now. Sturdy, accurate, strong, all in a compact package delivering Imperial Justice from a 8 round clip, one bullet at a time.
As Ryukyuan military tradition dictates knives are not suitable weapons for honorable warriors, swords take their place and are often found in various shapes and sizes depending on the user's rank and role. Made of a light weight alloy, the Type 0 is also referred to as a "Progressive Sword", not because its cutting edge technology, but because of how it can cut through just about anything with a veil of agitated molecules that can cut things at a molecular level.
Standard frag grenade, nothing too impressive here.
A combination of an EMP, a flashbang and a concussion grenade, the IS-4 is the Imperium's go to grenade for tactical moves.
Description: Standard Ryukyuan Imperial Army soldier, these soldiers have a life time of indoctrination in the form of propaganda and leader reverence behind them. They have been around for quite some time and are considered an invaluable ally in RIA. Name Yoruha Nanashoku Age: 31 Rank/Position/Title: Lieutenant/Imperial Ronin Agent Equipment:
Yoruha's personal weapon, the Amaburi is a modified version of a prototype weapon, boasting a huge 100 round magazine and is said to be as powerful as the ones found on the Drones.
Standard side arm for Ronin Agents, its a strong and durable pistol which has seen Yoruha through many a fights. Its well suited to his needs with an extended 15 round clip and internal silencer.
Going against traditions, Ronin are allowed to carry knives and the likes instead of swords. Yoruha carries a long one behind his back and another in his boot.
Standard frag grenade, nothing too impressive here.
A combination of an EMP, a flashbang and a concussion grenade, the IS-4 is the Imperium's go to grenade for tactical moves.
Personality: Yoruha is most often cold and stoic with every little phasing him due to Project RONIN. The people under him dislike him as a person but see him as an exceptional leader as can easily motivate troops by words or by force.
Bio: Like all members of Project RONIN, Yoruha's life is concealed in shadows and politics. Chosen at birth, he has been turned into a model of peak ability and physic for a Ryukyuan. What is known is that Project RONIN did not give him an easy or happy childhood, but it was worth being a super soldier, right?
For reasons unknown, he was personally assigned to lead the Ryukyuan expedition instead of a normal commander. He suspects something involving politics.
