Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

Sudden question comes to mind, do these tiny people need to eat? Do hobby stores sell tiny rations for the tiny people? Can one make a pot of soup and feed their entire tiny legion? Also, do these tiny people need to sleep? Would one need to build a tiny barracks in their closet to house their tiny army?
I realize that just calling them tiny people may actually be insulting, my pardon I just rather fancy the term tiny people to describe these inch tall living human-like entities. If one wishes I'll stop calling them tiny people and just call them MockZ.

Lol, tiny people is okay.

But yes, they require food and sleep just as much as we do although obviously in less number in food. People in universe often just make a pot of soup or cook a pot of rice and spread it across a number of days. People will usually dedicate some space in their home to be MockZ barracks and this can range from someone's basement to someone's own bedroom depending on the personality of the Commander and the culture they've instilled in their soldiers.

In long protracted battles, rations are brought to the field as you cannot bring anything into the field once the game began. More than one game has been won simply because one side made sure to destroy enemy food supplies while they got their own hot meals.

@Rultaos That's why most of the vehicles and stuff will likely just be "reskins" of the same unit as I call it. So people don't need to worry about if this tank's 120mm cannon can damage that vehicle's 50mm armor with reactive plates at a 60 degree angle or what have you. Its also why I'm not having it be PvP but more PvE so that people can focus on writing for character's and personal tactics over what counters what and why this maneuver would best that action.

@neogreggory I'm going to use what Yenn (original creator of the idea) had written down mostly:

Its going to be very similar except that there are plenty of videos online on how to train MockZ and even sort of MockZ "boot camps". Think like how there are videos on how to train your dog and doggy camps and such. Plenty of people in universe even have MockZ who they just use as like glorified ant farms and watch as they build cities and such in their backyard or living room. I will also say that they can repopulate themselves but have gestation times of at least half a year with only special types of MockZ that are fertile and invetiably cost much more.

tl;dr - humans only, they can learn other skills besides war and can grow their own personalities beyond what you first make for them, customization is from you being able to alter how they physically look and their clothing, they can form relationships and they can die from battle.

That last bit is actually going to be a corner stone of my own Division. Originally they were two divisions owned by two brothers but after a series of devastating and crushing losses, they have been combined into a single Division with limited resources and quality units.
@Ben1730 The amount of work that would have to be put in to make a card like that for every division would be laborious and I'm certain most people don't have the time to fill it out like that. Instead, it'll all be text based and organized with hiders.

@All Unit Card templates are now up along with examples for vehicles and infantry. Remember, run on rule of cool with realistic reason behind it. As for tech level, I guess WW2 and the modern era will be our bench marks. I'm not using stats so don't make things more complicated than it has to be so long as it can fit within the Troop Type.

Added Doctrines! Next up is the NS proper and a unified layout for units or "unit cards" template.

@neogreggory Honestly, that's one of the reasons I made this RP. So people can just have fun making awesome army divisions they'd normally make for NSs without the additional stuff that would normally come with an NS in an NRP. My goal is that the process of making divisions is easy enough to the point where people can just quickly draw one up with limited time.
Updated with Troop Type now so anyone interested will be able to begin to figure out what kind of division they'd like to run.
Up next will be Doctrines, Division modifiers that allow special units or change the number of slots to help personalize a division to whatever theme you wan!

SETTING

Its 20XX, world peace has finally been achieved. After decades long arms races, the perfect armor was created rendering all ballistic and energy weapons ineffective but was yet cheap and lightweight enough to be used en masse on both tanks and soldiers. Short of nuclear strikes and mutually assured destruction, armies became invincible against one another. Realizing this conundrum, the Treaty of Babylon was signed that marked an era a world peace for the first time.

However, there were still those who wished to engage in martial pursuits even between international militaries. As such companies created the "MockZ": miniature, intelligent and ageless humans fully aware of their existence and accepting of it. Great debates and controversy swirled around them. But with enough money being thrown at the issue and a sizable amount of public support, the issue soon faded. Now cloned in numbers, they have become the world's fastest growing commodity with companies forming around their creation and additions like buildings, vehicles and other implements.

Any military action has been replaced with grand MockZ tournaments with entire tiny armies lead by the greatest military minds of each nation with true, old fashioned war no longer a possibility. Of course, civilian tournaments are held as well leading to a strange system where tournament winners are often approached by governments to lead MockZ troops in a true strategic scale.

While "governmental MockZ" often have specialized equipment and detailed, unique tanks between nations, the civilian MockZ market will only sell one base model of something and then allow the buyer to effectively "reskin" the blank model. For example, in a civilian tournament, while one side will have a Soviet T-34 and the other will have a Russian T-90, the two will act similar for game purposes.

Important points:
  • Focus on player creativity, make your Division's theme on whatever you want. Modern US marines? WW2 Panzergrenadiers? Samurai shocktroopers? Neo Medieval Riflemen-at-Arms? Go wild!
  • Cooprative Plot, instead of trying to balance out a clusterfuck PvP plot, all players will participate as "divisions" within a "field army" (team) as they try and reach the big leagues!
  • Four Division Layouts, Dozens of Troop Types and a number of Doctrine to help make your division really feel like your own and fit your theme!
  • But wait, this setting doesn't make sense! Look at you Timmy, aren't you smart. Guess what, the focus isn't on the realism of the setting but having a hodpodge combination of different thematic divisions fight one another!

If you have any questions do ask!
For those of you interested, here are the DIVISIONS you can play in this RP. Troop Type, Doctrines and Sheets will be to follow if enough interested is generated.

@Irredeemable Honestly, skip me for now. I've run into a wall when trying to write for this RP, apologies.
Yeah, we're going to be flying solo in our own little stories for awhile, until someone's characters have the gumption to leave home so we can have interactions.

This was one of the reasons I had an idea of being a bunch of merchant nomads who'd go cross country, so they'd have something to do and would be easy to interact with for other people.

As for my NS, I've hit a road block in terms of actually writing people. I'll probably just put up what I have to expedite things and as to not dawdle anymore.
