Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

@Wavy Wallaby has been online recently and not responded to any of us. If they chose not to engage with us, I am happy to try and run this for anyone interested, with a few changes.

Thoughts?

I mean I'm still interested in this idea. I'm also up to try and run this, I've been in a bunch of RPs like this before.
I'd only suggest that it be moved to Advanced instead of Nation since what I'm getting at is that the main focus isn't on the kingdoms themselves, but the characters and their politicking.
You know what, I'll throw my hat into this since I have two idea for it.

1. Extra dimensional, formerly immortal beings who lived in a timeless, abstract dimension of hypergeometry. When the two galaxies crashed into one another, it caused something to happen in their dimension, a disastrous breach into their dimension, possibly from some long lost secret research project of a lost empire, spread something entirely unnatural to them: time. After untold thousands of cycles, the breach only continues to grow and infect their dimension forcing them to enter into our dimension and the Andaluzia galaxy because of:

A) They are only a portion of their race desperately hoping to try and find a "cure" in this dimension to save their own
B) They are the last survivors of their dimension, forced to flee into this dimension or suffer a "true" death

2: A terrifying race of living weapons, their monstrous existence once justified by the massive wars they were made to fight in. Their names are infamous and feared as stories and myths of the carnage, terror and bloody destruction they caused as they consumed worlds in fire and gore. Once they were thought to have all died out, along side with whatever force originally created them and remembered only in legends and ancient history. But they have returned, nightmares made reality once more. However this time, something is off about them. They are still monstrous killing machines bread for a terror war, yet they don't act like it, or at least they try to. For whatever reason, this last group of living weapons is trying to find some kind of redemption, perhaps as an apology for what their kind once did, or maybe for their very existence.

Basically, imagine the first one being driven by desperation and panic. They're strong by their extra-dimensional nature but they're also very confused. One idea I had is that they have some ability in manipulating temporal flow, a hold over from their once timeless realm, but I honestly don't expect that to make the cut. The second is your typical forgotten living weapon with a society built entirely for war but they're trying to redeem or change their ways. Could be interest to see them fighting their very nature monster-within-style (dramatic I know) or what they would be like if they were forced into dipping back into the savagery that made their species so infamous to begin with because of some major conflict.

Edit: Will there be other or more specializations?
@SilverPaw@deadpixel101 Both your characters look good, feel free to move them over. Although don't expect the Mana Sensor to really work that well in the Underynth (since its probably not calibrated to the Underynth's ambient magic) or the Electronics to be able to connect, call or even get a chance to charge outside more well developed places.

Classes have been kicking my ass rn so I haven't been able to get that lore writing I wanted to, but I do want to put out a poll to everyone. Right now I am planning this to have a narrative with large consequences in your traditional fantasy/story style and part of this includes factions and places. Do you guys want me to include some major factions (namely the main antagonists) and important places you're likely to visit at some point in the lore? Do you want only like a name and general information or know nothing about any of the factions at all?
Character Creation

Starting characters are all going to be brand new arrivals (Arrivalers) to the Underynth. Many of the people who are taken are not the super elite spec-ops or heroic chosen ones but fairly run of the mill and average people: office workers, students, steampunk merchants, truck drivers, line infantrymen, peasant farmers, starship mechanics, monastery monks, wasteland survivors, etc. They can be skilled, but they should otherwise be "mundane". If you want to play as someone who was really powerful in their old world, then please talk with me so we can figure it out. They are going to be nerfed quite heavily coming into the Underynth having weakened or even none of their old abilities at all.

Additionally, no one remembers how they ended up in the Underynth. They can have memories of their past lives that could be true, could be fake or maybe lack any memory at all, but no one remembers the events leading up to their awakening next to a Mana Well in the Underynth. They will also be starting largely unarmed. You can have personal effects on you such as wallet, keys, notepad, backpack, cell phones, tools, but in most cases you will not have anything like a knife or other melee weapon and will certainly not be starting out with a magical sword or automatic rifle.

Your characters are no super heroes or chosen ones. Hell they probably wouldn't even be considered "protagonists" starting out and would more than likely be background extras, but they don't need to be special to be great characters for this RP. You will get stronger throughout the RP and while I might main or seriously wound your characters, I won't go out of my way to kill them unless its been discussed and agreed upon.

The following is a character sheet guide. Your sheet can use any format (as long as its readable) but it must have all of the information somewhere.

I assumed it was mostly owned by Steinland with Myremarke getting a bit of it.
Welcome to the Guild!
Damn this really do be a contest of getting other people to join your province xP
@Artemis Arts Oh wow consider me honored

Although, I should state that Myremarke is specifically not a great place to live and Myburne (along with any other sea town in Myremarke) wouldn't really be "lush with ports and marinas beyond what the eye can see". Not even Boatmurdered, the largest seaside city in the province, would fit that description as its barely even an actual port city. Also, women being bold and upfront isn't that strange in Myremarke, people really don't care about gender roles nearly as much in Myremarke mostly because they have bigger things to worry about on a day to day basis.

Again, I'm super honored you choice Myremarke but Gwydonlyn and Myburne don't quite fit what Myremarke is. If you don't want to change anything besides location, I honestly suggest you check Steinland directly to its north for a better fit. (Just in case, I am the person who made Myremarke.)
Can't wait to see whose next in this game of thrones to appear in Dawnhilt!
