The Golden age of Piracy

The Golden Age of Piracy is a term used to describe a period of intense maritime piracy that occurred roughly between the 1650s and the 1730s. This era saw pirates operating in the Atlantic, particularly the Caribbean, and the Indian Ocean, preying on merchant ships and engaging in various forms of maritime robbery. Sounds fun!

Geographic Focus:
The Caribbean was a major hub of pirate activity, with numerous islands serving as bases and havens. The coast of North America, especially the eastern seaboard, also saw significant pirate activity. Additionally, the Indian Ocean and the coasts of West Africa were areas where pirates operated

Well, I would like the RP to focus on the Caribbean (maybe in 1717 so Blackbeard is still alive), but if you wish to travel to other zones I guess there won't be any problem as long as there is a good reason for it (teasures? lol). I would like to know your opinon whether we should keep this RP real or add some fantasy to it.

In any case here are some available positions from which you can choose for your character, others such as the Captain can be used by all the players as you guys see fit (perhaps some deep conversation between YC and the Captain, maybe YC needs advise, etc). Be aware the list is not complete as therewere many roles in real pirate ships and if we ever wanted to fill them all then the entire Guild, including Mahz, would have to join the Rp. If you wish to suggest a position make me know.

1)I know female pirates did exist, and although they were not seen often in real life, in this Rp they will be something considered normal, cuz you know...it's an rp.
2)For understanding sake: I would prefer to use modern lenguange instead of what may be used at the time (Cuz english is not my mother tongue)
3)Characters mentioned on your post: Whenever you interact or simply comment YC's thoughts about other player's character make sure to @ the player at the end of the post, just to make sure we don't overlook a possible interaction. For examle : "Isabella saw Edric carrying some heavy boxes to the port, thinking she may be a hindrance decided to just watch" So I should @ Ducksworth. If the player wants to interact or not is their business

+18 Female friends RP

I want to do smething I am not used to, a simple daily life RP. No big plot at all so we'll make it on the fly. This is simply an rp to kill time

Perhaps it can go around two best friends on their last summer before college or whatever you suggest. Familiy dramas, problems with boyfriends, anything non-fictional you feel like.

Something I would like, if you feel like it, is that YC would be much more social than MC, part of the reason would be reflected on the character sheet. In any case, despite they are BFF I would like them to have some opposite traits.

Claudia concidered jumping off the van more than once as Michael almost got them crashed several times, she also squeaked every time the vehicle ran over a zombie, from time to time the passengers huged each other as no one could garantee they wouldn't get killed inside the vehicle by one of Michael's mistakes.
At some point the van started making noises, then Michael started swearing, everyone immediately knew they had ran out of gas "Great" someone muttered before Michael turned to see the rest of the group and ask if anyone would go with him inside the High School. Just like before everyone stayed silent, no one wanted to move at all. A bit annoyed by the other survivor's silence Clauida spoke up "I'll go" the blonde replied and immediately moved to the door.

Once outisde the van Claudia could take a better look at the building, it was quite big so she looked at the old man and joked "I hope we don't have to run around the place looking for keys..." as she made her way up the stone staircase, luckily for the old man it was quite short.

Architectonically the building was beautiful, resembling contructions from the XVIII century, but in such situation with the dark smoke columns coming from unknown locations at the back of the building was a bit terrifying.

Claudia's eyes went wide open when the old man bursted and anger and reloaded his gun "A-ah let's calm down please, we got enough witht this monsters to be fighting each other!" She squeaked, thinking that maybe the veteran was more dangerous than the zombies. It was a good idea not to make him angry unless they wanted to get shot, but in such situation everyone was on edge.

The man who questioned Michael's driving skill had no other choice but to stay silent, as well as Claudia he realized the old man was no one to fuck around with. He saw his life pass in front of his eyes when the man reloaded his gun, he took a deep breath and looked at all those inside the van, everyone was just as scared as him.

Finally the van started moving, on the way out Michael ran over one of those bastards on the street. It's head exploded like a watermelon and the noise the cracking bones almost made the young blonde puke, but she managed to keep her cool. "Come on Claudia you study medicine you see car accidents all the time..." she muttered to herself but everyone inside the van could hear her.

The street was a complete chaos, cars crushed against other cars, against buildings, street light posts and everything you can crash against in a city including the walking corpses. The blonde could only hope not to end like those drivers.
