Bio

Hey, there. Myst here, as you've probably guessed. Can't exactly write in other people's bios, can you? But, you're probably reading this for a reason, so I'll get to it.

I prefer high-Casual and Advanced games, in a medieval, fantasy or sci-fi setting, because that's the sort of nerd I am.

I'm a thinker - I've thought a lot on certain things, and am firm in my beliefs. So you could ask me what I thought about a good few things and I could give a well-reasoned answer. Or a less reasoned answer based on my morals.

TheCharactersOfMyst - This is my storage for past and present characters, and where I might occasionally go for nostalgia and/or recycling a character I've used before.

@vietmyke@13900IpForThis@Bazmund Whiskey, as liquor, has an Alcohol-by-volume that ranges from 40% to 70%, compared to beer's 3%-5%, and wine's 12%. Assuming it's of a cheap variety, it would contain a higher concentration of alcohol. Adrion, as someone in his late teens, not quite at adulthood, would be more harmed by alcohol than someone like Daniel, Sam or Ekaterine would, as his body is still in development, in particular his brain. Additionally, it is a drug, and you can overdose on it. Being drunk is caused by alcohol not being broken down and entering the bloodstream. A stronger immune system is unlikely to reduce the effects, because it is the digestive system that does all the work when it comes to alcohol. The higher the blood-alcohol content, the more dangerous it becomes - and so the stronger the drink, the quicker it could become lethal. 0.3% BAC can cause amnesia, blackouts, and vomiting. 0.45% BAC results in loss of consciousness, suppression of vital functions such as the gag reflex, increasing risk of choking to death on your own vomit, and straight-up death from alcohol poisoning. If Adrion MUST blow his money on something, I recommend wine at the most. If you're wondering why I know this, when I was 13-through-15, there was a mandatory lesson that we had to take, 'Personal and Social Eduction' that taught us about things from STDs, to creating CVs, and then natural disasters and internet safety. I had to find my old notes to pass on this information, but even

Also, for the codex, at the very end, there's a section labelled 'Entries'. This is where Cole writes down recent events - giving us a recap, effectively, - and where he might make note of any monumental happenings, though given that he's working with the others, it is entirely likely he's more than likely to hear it from them than from street rumours. However, if you want for Adrion to make a comment on that, that's what I proposed the Notes function for - he comes across the journal, sees the entry and writes down something, provided Baz approves it.

I apologise for the wall of text, but even fantasy is based in realism. Wine also tends to be more expensive than liquor.
...Actually, I like that idea. The thief/alchemist thing. Cole is the only current non-combatant.
@VirdidianIgnis Well, I thank you for your willingness to become better, but if you do err in some way, I am greatly unlikely of being harsh. In my time (I say that when I'm only sixteen...) I've managed to silence aggressive, prejudiced bigots on the internet simply by presenting them the facts that contradict what they are saying. That is likely the path I will be taking... seeing as it doesn't have ice.
@vietmyke Question: Since you didn't quite clarify, is your younger brother diagnosed with Asperger's?

Because one thing I would like to address, if Lukas is accepted, is that people who have Asperger's, are highly misrepresented in media. Though it is something we carry with us for the entirety of our lives, the majority of us are not among the rarity we are commonly shown as in films, theater, books or on TV. We aren't as 'childlike', for lack of a better word. And because, among other things, I feel quite strongly about the misrepresentation of people like me, I want everyone to know one of these paths is thin ice.

As for the freeing him - remember the politicians who were unjustly imprisoned due to the actions of the Prime Minister? Who's to say we won't... get them out?
@VirdidianIgnis Hmm... it seems to me that Lukas has high-functioning Autism, also known as Asperger's Syndrome. Would that be correct?
@Bazmund

I second Collector boss man, don't feel rushed. We're all ready to see it when it's ready but you can take your time

First time on this site that anyone's nicknamed me Collector and not Myst. I'm not sure if I want to be that one guy from Guardians of the Galaxy, though.
It's your post - just do it whenever it becomes easiest for you.
Which is sort of where the problem has been - according to her profile, she hasn't been on in 2 days.
Yes, when Daniel is talking about the situations in each of them.
"The Red League is... actually rather stable. There is nothing overtly threatening to the stability of the Eversky to be found there - but IRIO and Red League intelligence operatives have been sending cryptic messages lately, and we might as well send some people to check it out before this is over."
(Because you might not see it otherwise) I updated the journal just after you liked it, Bazmund, so you may want to double check.
