How do spinoffs fit into this? Because I was thinking of making an Extreme Gear racer.

I was hopeful someone would want to be a Gear Racer. Professional or aspiring. It would be implemented into the story arc at large as well.

That goes for everyone’s character. Once I get a sense of their background, I’d build specific things for them in the story at large.

As for my GM style, it’s very possible you’d get a direct message from me during the game with tidbits of information that I think your character would already know, and it’s up to you to do with that information as you like.

For example, you might get a message from me saying “Since you’re a mechanic, you’d be the first recognize that this city that so and so is talking about is well known for its tech/trade routes.”

Well if we're sharing art right now...

I tried to sketch out a design for a honey badger but as it turns out I'm really not used to this specific style so I wasn't too happy with how she turned out.

Thankfully I have a friend who's more familiar with the Sonic style and they did a better version of her. Still need to figure out stuff about her aside from her being tentatively named "Honey the Ratel" but still.

Character Sheet:

Character Name: Animal characters in the Sonic Universe have a typical naming convention, with some exceptions. Examples would be "Crash the Shark, Snipe the Bunny, Willow the Weavile."
Character Species: Go wild with this one! Stick with animals that exist rather than mythical creatures. Don't feel limited to animals on land - if you wanted to be an aquatic creature, you won't be stuck only being able to breathe underwater - you'd be walking around with the rest of the cast (but of course with an advantage in water situations!)
Character Appearance: Please describe what your character looks like, or utilize a photo. I avoid using AI for my characters, and honestly if you have an idea of the species you want to be, pop that into google and search "Sonic Hawk OC" or "Sonic Scorpion OC" and see what shakes out!

Character Specialty
Option 1 - Species Special: Every creature in the Sonic World has a particular "trick" related to their species. For example, the character "Tangle The Lemur" has an extra long lemur tail that she uses to ensnare enemies and swing around. If you were a rabbit, you'd have a super jump/stomp. Think simply! And if you struggle thinking of something, consider Option 2!

Option 2 - Character Equipment: Some characters in the world of Sonic instead default to a particular type of tech. As an example, Whisper The Wolf utilizes a "Variable Wispon" a sort of shifting rifle with various types of magical bullets. Or perhaps your character is an expert with a sling or grappling hook, or an oversized hammer. I'm really open to any ideas you may have!

I'm also open to using a bit of Option 1 and Option 2 if you wanted to build a character with a more full moveset from jump!

Character Personality:
Give us a quick breakdown of your characters personality! Their interests, their vibes!

Quick Background:
Feel free to break down a little history of your character if you have an idea of one! For what it's worth, you've been in the main city "Starlight City" for long enough to make some occasional attachments to a few of the residents. But the length of time you've been there is completely up to you!

I want to run a small group, maybe 5-6 players, that takes place in the world of Sonic. The cast would be united in a singular goal of solving a disappearance from their local village. How this plays out depends on the sort of characters people want to play.

Our setting would be Starlight City - a smaller metropolis with a diverse population. It is known for it's proximity to Starlight Mountain - a beautiful mountain filled with lush greenery, and the clearest running water you'll ever drink. The inhabitants of the city are kind, polite, and quick to make friends.

But a heinous act sets our heroes out on what quickly snowballs into a complicated quest to save the world.

You would be one of these heroes, thrust into a grand adventure bringing you all closer together, but risking the ire of the evil forces at play!

We'd have a cast made of Original Characters. The sky is the limit for your character's race, save if you want to play one of the robotic type characters, I would only like one of our cast to take that slot. Please keep in mind that your character does not know Sonic and his friends, as it's possible they might make an appearance down the line.

I want to gauge some interest before I really start to crack into the real bones of the story. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions at all!
