Was thinking of posting again, if everyone’s cool with that. I’ll probably get to it in like an hour or two. Just a heads up and I guess an inquiry lol.
I’m fine with that, and honestly encourage it since every time I post I feel like I’m extending the plot and not giving time for you guys to chat.
@LegendBegins Enma looked around them, realization dawning him on whats happening as the hats moved closer. As he turned arouind he made eye contact with the mettaur behind, the large blank white eyes of the virus starteled him as he stumbled forward the opposite direction towards Aki. Seeing that the girl was approaching the group of hats. "Wait wait wait what are you doing?! Y-you don't know .. WHAT these things are, get back here!" He warned the girl as he tried to stand back up.
"It's too late to create distance! You need to go on the offensive before its to late." Commanded the Navi in his expanse caller.
Enma looked down at the device, still on the ground, "What am I supposed to do? I don't know how to fight!" He complained back to the red navi as he looked back at the staring mettaur behind them, its blank, cold eyes staring back at him.
As the group dispatched after their first ‘meeting’ Naoki smiled, happy that his plans had finally been coming along! He had been to 2 tournaments beforehand and never found anyone who interested him. And Now he finds a whole batch of them at once. Still though, it wasn’t a full team yet.
Takemori, who was closing up the shop, grunted in what Naoki recognized as confusion. “Everything fine , Takemori?”
The older man started to nod but stopped. “Actually … during that tournament something happened.” He said and Naoki raised an eyebrow, signaling him to continue. “At one point, a Destiny Gundam appeared.”
“Oh yeah I remember that, near the end of round 1.”
“Yes, the problem is that none of the registered pilots were piloting it.” He said seriously and Naoki wide eyed.
Someone had interfered in the match? Seriously? Who?
Underground in the Iori Shopping Center Parking Garage, Koga Kyo regrouped with Hamada and the Yui triplets, all of them in a group away from prying eyes. “God dammit you two!! You ruined everything!!” Hanako yelled as she berated her two siblings. “We were supposed to meet up with the other 2 and protect them!”
“We thought we could crush him!” Akihiko started
“With our special technique!” The other continued
Hanako sighed. “Yeah, that only works when we’re TOGETHER.” She finished, “Not when you two charge in and do your own thing.”
The hooded teen stepped forward. “That’s enough.” A feminine but commanding voice said out loud. “Our plan to get Hamada a local victory was a wash, there’s a tournament tomorrow in Hokkaido. We need to get going.”
Hamada jumped in at that, “W-whoa whoa wait, Hokkaido’s 18 hours away right?!”
The hooded teen nodded, “And you're the one with a license, consider the drive your punishment.” She said and Hamada fell to the floor dejected.
“Y-yes mam.”
The teen sighed as the hooded girl began to walk to the parking garage, the others following behind her as she approached a bus, the words Norishima Entertainment Company written in bold letters.
“By the way.” Koga said, bringing the hooded girl's attention to herself. “The Shark, he was called up by one of the regulars at Takemoris, Yukihiro Naoki. I hear Naoki is trying to build a team and I think he invited him.” She said, giving all the info she could.
The group entered the bus, the hooded girl taking off her hood to reveal short pink hair, green eyes, and a golden earring. “Oh really?” She asked, intrigued. “Then I guess we’ll have to hold a meeting. I’m sure the monkeys will hold a meeting once they hear about this and I’d rather we look like we’re taking the initiative.” She said
The group sat in a van, Takemori at the wheel driving a rented car to Minato while Naoki sat next to him and everyone else sat in the back. Naoki internally laughed as he found it funny that Kai and Jun were forced to sit next to each other but they couldn’t complain, the 5 of them drew straws to see who would sit where and it just ended up with the two next to each other.
Over the last week Takemori had opened up the store and back room to the team so anyone could come and go from the arcade whenever they needed, and in that time Naoki had worked with some of them individually to test them. Overall they hadn’t truly had any group training and instead they had spent the weeks building and training in regular target and flight practice, so that Naoki and Takemori could see their baseline performance.
“Today’s target is the Kishimoto Arcade in west Minato. It’s a local tournament, and there are expected to be 3 other teams there with us.” Naoki said to the group as their car began to pull into a parking lot next to a small shopping district. Now stopped, Takemori exited while Naoki unbuckled and completely turned around. “Details like that type of battle and conditions are always randomized so be prepared for literally anything.”
Takemori opens the side door for the others, the group beginning to follow him as they walk through the work quaint shopping district towards their goal. “I think, no, I know we’re ready. However, we’re missing something.” He said in a serious tone as he turned to the group. “Something important,” he said solemnly before his seriousness was cut by a smile, “ARMBANDS!” He said as he held up 6 armbands, black in the middle and blue on the outer rim, the words IMAGINE VICTORY! Written on the side. “Hehe, like em? They’re armbands I made for our group, to both show we’re together and also remind us that in order to win you first need to believe you can!” He said as he passed out the arm bands to the others. “I figured we needed some sort of uniform, since a lot of other groups are from other schools.”
With that out of the way the group entered the store, Naoki with his armband proudly on him, as they were greeted to what looked like any other arcade you’d see anywhere else. However, the big group of boys could feel eyes on them immediately as 3 other large groups that were spread around the store watched them.
“Meeeeh, competition looks ready to kill.” Naoki whispered “Ok, I’m gonna go check our team in and such, we have 10-15 minutes before the tournament officially starts so this is your chance to look over either yourselves or the competition.” He said as he himself made a look around before he separated from the group to sign them in.
The first group looked to be a big family ranging from a pair of older grandparents to a ten year running around. They seemed like a big family, bigger than a team could consist of, and he wondered who out of the group would be fighting.
The second group seemed to be a school group local to the area as it was a group of 7 teenagers, 5 boys and 2 girls, all sitting around eying the other groups as they closely kept to themselves in a corner of the arcade.
The third group was an actual surprise to Naoki, as he wasn’t expecting to see the uniform of his own school out here in Minato. But he hadn’t seen wrong, not at all. Because the third group was none other than the Zenshin High Gunpla Club, the full crew of 5 along with 2 others not wearing the uniform but with them. The 2 others he didn’t recognize as students from Zenshin. Mercs? Did Seo hire Mercs? Wait, did Seo FOLLOW them here?! What the hell happened?!
One week after the Takemori Arcade Free for all, the Zenshin High Gunpla Club had regrouped and begun training and upgrading their gunpla on Seo's orders. “But this won’t be enough.” Seo said to himself as the other 4 in his group began to work on the new gunpla he had bought them.
Through the grapevine he had learned of Yukihiros group and their participation in a tournament next week. And it annoyed him to no end. Last week was supposed to be HIS debut as the sole winner of the Takemori Arcade Tournament, but Naokis presence soured his mood and distracted him from the bigger picture. THAT was what caused him to get caught in Rikus ambush, leading to his defeat. But if that wasn’t enough, the Shark and Reaper had to ruin any chance of there being a good ending for the tournament by helping Naoki and leading to his boys' defeat before the second round could even start.
The worst part of the tournament however was learning that all these annoyances (Along with Blade) were working together. Meaning if he wanted revenge he’d need some serious firepower, and the new gunpla weren't enough. THAT led him to now, at his desk in the back of the club room scrolling through the internet, looking for Gunpla Mercs to hire for next week's tournament.
So far only 2 really gained his interest.
The first was Ryoichi Seiten, a Gunpla Merc with an impressive track record, was a solid choice to hire amongst the other mercs he could find information on.
The other was Charmaine Creusherenada, and although wasn’t an official merc Seo was sure he could ‘persuade’ him to join for the right price.
Seo opened up an email to write to the two.
“ I, Seo Seiichi, and Zenshin High would like to offer you an opportunity to battle with our group in one week. All needs and transportation will be provided. Please meet us in the Zenshin High Gunpla Club room at XXX Street tomorrow at 2 pm.”
The next day, the two boys arrived at the school, being led to a waiting room within the schools office first by a teacher, meeting each other for the first time as the waited for their ‘appointment to start’

Sunday
Though he had graduated a year before and outright refused to go to college, the near clinical aesthetic of most schools had become a second home for Ryoichi. The nineteen year old, of above-average height, and pale skin was dressed casually and looked disheveled. He had a can of iced coffee in his hand and bag of gummy candy held snug in the other. Still, he appeared drained, drowsy, and just a tad too empty-minded. Last night had been rough for him, atypical as it was, it was a job he refused to turn down.
He leaned forward in the ungiving chair he now sat in and yawned. Last night his neighbor's son, whom through years of pestering and following had come to know his ancient exploits in Gunpla battle had begged him to retrieve his prized Gunpla. Ryoichi said no at first. Playing hero wasn't in his job description but then the boy offered a peculiar and rare Gunpla, that while Ryoichi had no real sense of its value could tell it was important to the sobbing boy. So, reluctantly and relieved, he agreed. The shortcut of this tale ends with him, literally knocking out a thirty year old man over a "event-limited kit."
Slowly, Ryoichi shook his head and rubbed his temples of the echoing headache from that brawl. When he thought about the incident it simply gave strength to the thumping. It was too bad the Hepalyse hadn't quite kicked in yet, least he had put a smile on little Toshiro's face. Remembering that eased his frustrations. Leaning back, he fixed his hair quietly, and smiled to himself.
"Whatever this is about, I'll make it quick and get back to my lover," he thought. "My sweet, sweet bed."

Sunday
It was a creaking sort of sound that filled the room, as a wheelchair rolled into the room and an almost military uniformed young man sitting in it with a blanket at his lap, partially covering the fact that his legs were gone below the knees. The young man in question had a serious expression on his face, his green eyes scanned the room in a very judging manner.
He wasn't sure if it was boredom, the intrigue or through the sheer audacity this Seo had contacted him which drew his interest. Perhaps it was the promise to destroy the creations of others and another chance to elevate himself higher. The bait had been effective. Much to the young man's surprise there was another older person also being brought to the same place, he felt a hint of annoyance but also curiousity. Who was this other person which had been recruited in the same manner?
'To think they would compare me with this obvious delinquent... unbelievable. If nothing else he will serve as a good marker to show the difference between someone like myself and the rest.' He mused in his own head, rolling further into the room by his own hands on the large wheels on his wheelchair. His gunpla suitcase neatly attached to it.
"You better not get in my way. I only fight the strongest of opponents, I shall leave the small fry to you. Unless that's too much for you? Interfere in my duels and I will grind you into dust. Got it?" Charmaine gave Ryoichi a glare, as he tightened one of his hands into a fist in a crushing manner. It was customary to introducing oneself to people, yet Charmaine felt no need to introduce himself to people he regarded as beneath him.
"There better be some Lightning Count or Red Comet to fight or this is a waste of time..." The young man said aloud with a scoff, combing his brown hair backwards abit with his left hand, but to little avail as it soon came falling back into place afterwards.
A week ago at this time, Seo had invited 2 people to the Zenshin High Gunpla club in order to offer them a deal. After a student led the two to the Gunpla room, Seo left no time for chit chat.
“It’s simple really, 20,000 Yen for participating with us and an extra 20,000 Yen if we win.” He said bluntly to the two other fighters. “Now usually me and my team woul;dn’t need the extra power, however our opponents this time are annoyances I want dealt with. The team we’re facing consists of a pretty famous battler, as well as the newest Dobutsu. Those two are going to be your main targets.” He told them as he threw out multiple pictures. Top two being Kai and Jun battling at the arcade, the others under it being pictures of the rest of the group.
“The rest of them are free games as well, but there's 2 I want for myself. The mastermind who planned our previous defeat.” He said as he pulled out Naoki's picture “THIS one,” Then Rikus picture “And this one.” He finished with a small laugh.
Ever since he had taken the first bite of that horrible devil fruit, Kukuis life had been down hill in terms of difficulties. His hair felt leafy, he had twigs growing in places he didn't want twigs growing, and people generally try to either avoid or kill him because of his powers. Now the biggest downside in his opinion was that he had 2 very large and distinct weaknesses. Seawater, and fire.
What Kukui had thankfully learned in his long travels however was that, although both individually where etremely detremental to him, together they actually cancel eachother out. So as the flames began to surround him, kukui was pleasently suprised when he felt his damp body rapidly drying, making it easier to store energy for his next play!
Before the fires could fully dry him, and start burning him, he focused a large amount of power into his legs. His lower half became almost like a tree and started rapidly growing and extending, raising Kukui into the air far above the pirates and the buildings before his tree like lower half spit him out, allowing him to stand atop the new tree.
Looking out, Kukui looked for an escape. The docks seemed filled with pirates and the commotion would surely bring the marines. He needed to get off this island, but he'd need a boat. He couldn't make a boat with his powers, he needs time and materials like cloth and nails, both of which he didn't have, and he couldn't steal one, since it looked like almost all on the dock were burning.
Then he saw it, in the distance a sole boat a bit away from the water! If he could just get from ... from 30 feet in the air on a burning tree to half a mile out into water on a distant boat ... He can survive. "... Well, I'd survived worse. I think." He said as he came to an idea. A VERY. VERY. VERY. stupid idea. "OK ok OK ok OKAY!" He said psyching himself up. thin branchs began to form on his back into a large spread over a wide area, leaves forming as it began to take the shape of wings.
"Ki Ki no, er, makeshift glider!" He yelled as he jumped, purging his wooden armor as he used the leaf canopy as a glider to fly above the crowd, hoping to reach past the pirate crowd. His plan was to glide above the enemies and land safely, then run to the lighthouse so he can get high enough to glide to the boat.
Aster looked looked down at Chomps in thought. Only 3 pokemon? B-but he just got a fourth, and now he had to side line one of them? "Chomps needs the experience." He mumbled. "I think I'll bring Echo and Saber, Sunny isn't really a fan of fighting so she should be fine not participating." He said as he returned Chomps to his pokeball.
"I wonder, do you think We'll be seeing another legendary pokemon or do you think we'll be working on a retrieval again?" He asked, starting to feel excited at the prospect of either.
Just a heads up I'm going to be posting and moving things along soon, I'm also going to be adding and continuing what me, renny, and dezuel have RP'd privately (Not alot) to the ending of the post so it's gonna look long. EDIT: Should I put it in a hider?
I ask because I thought that if enough of us use it we can switch over to that for discussion. But if not I think sticking to OOC is fine for now.
On another note I have just realized that I completely forgot about creating a team name, and I have no ideas as of now. Anybody have any ideas for our team name?
