Archer grinned at his Master's questions. It amused him that his Master would be most worried about his well-being, despite being expected of. He still, however, can't help but feel a bit insulted that his Master would allude that he would die so easily. Still, however, he can't get mad at his Master for this. He put him off as being a pragmatic man. Hell, Archer would've asked the same questions first, in his shoes...

"As if I would allow myself to be felled that fast... " Archer quipped, crossing his arms. He said nothing else on the matter, letting Ruler answer Alex's questions.

And then Ruler had stopped, rather abruptly at that. He looked at Ruler, scanning his movement. He wouldn't stop mid-sentence like that if something wasn't wrong, Archer thought. Then as Ruler's disposition began to change, Archer knew something was wrong. As Ruler had began to take action, Archer quickly dove to the side, towards Alex, bringing himself and his Master out of the way from the door.

Something was wrong, indeed, and whatever it was, it seemed as it was going to crash through the door behind them. Archer had to assure that he and his Master did not take the brunt of whatever happens. Perhaps it was one of those Servants that caused Ruler to be summoned in the first place. Why else would they be attacking neutral ground, anyway? Archer prepared himself, not to manifest his weapon, but to defend his Master from whoever- or whatever- comes smashing through. He'll take this advantage to both see Ruler's capabilities, as well as what this Servant can accomplish. Archer stood up, in front of his Master, bracing himself for...

A polite knock, followed by a kindly sounding voice. Archer looked to the door, confused, then looked back to Ruler. Whatever power he was drawing out seemed to dissipate... and he seemed to welcome whoever was behind that door. Were they safe, after all? Archer relaxed a bit, before looking back at the door. He still stayed in a defensive position, in front of his Master, in case he was wrong, but from what Archer had deducted so far, whatever threat that was coming from them has... calmed down.

I actually think his 70% defense with the armor is justifiable for these two reasons

1. It's designed to be a quick burst sort of Noble Phantasm, seeing as it used a huge amount of mana to keep up. Siegfried's is continuously on.
2. It still isn't complete negation, and it doesn't work exactly like Siegfried's armor, since he still takes some damage from the attacks it can defend, and he still takes the full damage from attacks of A rank or more, his Endurance nonwithstanding.

I can bring it down to 50%, would it also be fair to say it doesn't use a huge amount of prana to maintain? It still uses a lot of prana, if so, just not a huge amount.

Also, the first part of the Noble Phantasm is just comparing Masamune to the likes of Nobunaga historically that they both liked using firearms. The second paragraph is what actually explains its effect.
@1Charak2

It'd be pretty damn epic, yeah, and a potentially pretty long fight too, if Masamune figures out Kiyohime's weakness being how Berserkers use up alot of prana. Then at that point, Masamune would try and avoid her attacks through the use of his Agility, along with possibly his luck. Of course, if they're away from their Masters, this strategy plays off Archer's Independant Action, and would mean he'd have to play fully evasive in order to use the least amount of mana.

Of course, to this end, if Kiyohime gets one good hit on Archer, it'd be over for him, seeing as using this strategy would mean to avoid activating Hide of the Dragon.
@1Charak2

Seeing how he is an Archer made in the mold to be a bit more of a cunning fighter than a direct one, with having a huge steroid he'd rather not pop out due to it also being a huge nametag, he'd definitely lose if said vacuum means he won't be able to manuever well, considering his Eye of the Mind skill is out of the question.

Also too close for Unlimited Musket Works to take reasonable effect.

These factors are all not including Hide of the Dragon, by the way.
@1Charak2

I'll add more clarification to his Noble Phantasm that he isn't considered a true Dragon, or even a mixed blood. His legend just alludes to his might on the battlefield as something akin to a Dragon.

As for the bonus effect, it was added because in Japan, his homeland, they make forms of media where he basically fights holding six katanas, to add to his legend as a "Dragon". Since holding swords like that breaches Capcom's trademarks is more an idea of the modern age, and honestly too nonsensible, I figured a boost to his legend as being akin to a Dragon would be appropriate.
@1Charak2

The way I see it is that while he is technically considered a member of Dragonkind while his Phantasm is activated, he doesn't have the pure strength of an actual dragon. His legend does not involve him slaying any dragons or other phantasmal beasts, and while donning his armor, he doesn't have the pure strength that an actual dragon would have. His Breath of thr Dragon, for example, isn't as strong as an actual dragon's, and he is incapable of flight, or a method of staying mid-air for a prolonged period of time.

In essence, he doesn't become the dragon when he dons his srmor, but he obtains the aspect of the dragon, in a sense.
<Snipped quote by Cu Chulainn>

I guess, but he can still function with his other noble phantasm active while under the effects of this one. So it would likely just be a balancing thing. Considering.

Yeah, I added the changes earlier. Seeing as he is a Knight class, and he already is a great warrior even without taking to account he is associated with "being" a dragon, he's already strong in terms of power.

@1Charak2

That does make sense, yeah, although I did have the idea to reword it within the lines of making him considered a 'Dragon' while this Noble Phantasm is activated. This is due to his legend as being called a Dragon, both by others and himself. The armor is not only the famous armor that he was known to wear, but also represents the crystalization of his legend as the Azure Dragon of the North.

I had an idea of actually giving him a skill to represent this. This idea stems from how Oda Nobunaga has the Demon King skill, which is technically a variation of the Innocent Monster Skill, except she also called herself a demon as well. Of course, in Masamune's case, it would make him take on more of the characteristics as a member of Dragonkind. In the end, I scrapped the idea of giving him a similar skill due to balancing reasons, seeing as Oda ended up being pretty OP,
Okay, I'll admit it. Archer is my favorite class.

He's an Archer that can handle himself in a melee. If his Phantasm needs nerfing, ler me know. As for his stats, he is one of the Knight classes, and he was also a formidable warrior in his time. He also survived a time of war through his whole life and died of natural causes in the beginning of a time of peace in Japan, which is why his luck is above average. If any nerfs are needed, let me know.

EDIT: Nerfed the magical resistance of his second NP
