Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago 2010-ish!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

Word of my splendor:

@Cyclone Im thinking about how though where should they all meet?

Your guy could have been in the dwarven hamlet that's being attacked (for whatever reason you want), step outside, and meet the whole group as they are rampaging through the place.

Just an idea.
Hello can i post something?

Sure, go ahead and do introduce your guy yourself if you want; my next post where I was going to do it probably won't happen until the weekend.
I've been pretty busy; expect my sheet (or at least a WIP) this weekend.

Remember Belgium the plucky state whose king bought a country ;) being regional doesn't mean you can't have colonies... nor does it mean that they have to be small.

The thing is that historically the strip of coastline that my nation had is its newest acquisition, from something like 10 years ago when they annexed a tiny country.

They wouldn't have had much time to invade the Congo and loot it for rubber :P
I'm debating whether to have a colony or two (or more accurately, subjugated "protectorates" or "satellite states" supplying oil. Heavy colonidalism wouldn't make sense with my nation's history and goals.

I intend to be more a regional presence than a global one, though. Does anyone have a nation that would export a lot of oil, coal, etc. to a fascist state?

Preferably a nation a fair ways away from mine, because border tensions and expansionist goals mean that my nation doesn't like its neighbors all too much.
@Cyclone If you could mark it, I'd appreciate it since I don't think I'm seeing it >///>

@Gig Tempting but I'll have to think about it.

Also, here is my Plan B

I am totally not high af right now

I referred to number 1, but 2 could work as well I think. Maybe 3, but 3 doesn't seem ideal.
Wait shit... I might have to redo claims.

I'm using a long ass heat wave as an excuse that caused Fuso's people to be a bit... less layered

Don't think less layers and cold weather go well.

EDIT: Actually... I might just make my own race to put in as an excuse... hmm... decisions, decisions

Across the Ceres sea is a smaller archipelago (although being a tiny bit closer to the equator makes it relatively bigger compared to what you have now) and two peninsulas that might be better suited for you. I get what you're going for with the all-island nation, but at some points (the conquest of Manchuria and surely a few other times throughout history) Japan has had significant mainland holdings.

Alternatively you could rob Willy of that one colony on the island chain off the smaller continent.
@ClocktowerEchos

You should colour in the exact territory you want it be a better reference for future players than my approximation

Better to just scrawl "Thar be polar bears!" on that region of that map. All but the southern tip of that Greenland-island are probaly within the arctic circle
Why hello there.

I'd like to claim the following area for the glorious People's Republic of Kataylabinsk, if it's not too much. I'm planning on nerfing the technology in all fairness, and you can probably tell why I picked that area.

I didn't notice that a whole page 8 had appeared while I was gone. This is too good to be true

I'll PM you about history, but know that your southern neighbor is a warmongering, expansionist state that will stop at nothing to reform their ancient empire (which means taking back huge areas of land on their continent, which they consider to be theirs de jure).
@ClocktowerEchos

I had planned to do more fantasy than history with at least some of the vehicles, going for steampunkish stuff like gigantic tanks that somewhat resemble small boats on treads. The light tanks, humvees, and aircraft will be more historical. It'll probably be largely British or American inspired.
