"Oh yeah, Josh has a panel! We should go to that after Phoenix's and Jordan's," Leah said, nudging Wes's arm. She had already finished eating and was bouncing around as if her energy was regained simply by processing the fact that she was finally meeting her online friends. Miles was willing to bet that she would crawl back into her shell once she was faced with more members of the group. She could handle it. Wes responded with a mumble as he took a sip of his coffee - "What do you think we were going to do?"
"Well, I dunno, there's a lot to do at Comic Con."
"That reminds me. I'm surprised none of us are cosplaying," Miles said, finishing his doughnut as he glanced at Colette. "Especially you. Or you," he said, turning to Ivy. "I thought you were cosplaying as Jack Skellington?"
"Cosplays cost money that I don't have," Ivy said with a sheepish smile as she took a sip of her heated beverage. What was up with this crew and their habit of insisting consumption warm drinks in the middle of May, anyway? "Oh, crap," Ivy said suddenly, looking at her phone, "The convention hall opens in ten minutes. We should start heading over soon if we want to be there when the doors open."
"Sounds like a plan. Oh, I might as well tell Hiji that we will be taking him up on his offer." And there Miles was, speaking for Leah, Wes and Ivy.
Not that they would mind. Free food is free food, right?
Phoenix West
Interacting with: Jordan, Dakota && Hiji
Jordan was pacing back and forth in front of his own panel setup. The convention hall would be open in about five minutes and they would be presenting in about thirty-five. They would be meeting the others in a little over an hour. It was about this time that Phoenix began to develop her own symptoms of anxiety. Hers was more of a happy anxiety opposed to anything else.
Opening up her phone, she checked to see if there was new messages. There was one from Hiji.
Where was Norma and Morgan?TheLightningBird: Run for the doors before anyone else can.
TheLightningBird: We believe in you!
TheLightningBird: Or just say you're with Josh's panel and enter from the side door.
TheLightningBird: That's what I did even though I am technically in Jordan's panel.
TheLightningBird: Either way, all of you don't die when you enter!

TheLightningBird: Oh, you'll be fine. You aren't waiting with the crowd.

Phoenix looked up from her phone and she hadn't even realized that she begun clutching.
Less than five minutes now.
