"On it." Gwyneria called. Knife at the ready, she slashed at Josh's sword wrist. The captain cried out in shock as his cutlass fell clattering to the deck. He started punching blindly, striking the elf once in the stomach as she tried to dodge. She stalled for a second, then forced herself through the pain to continue dodging his flails. Finally, she moved behind him and swiftly set the knife below his Adam's apple, her hand and body braced against his left shoulder so he couldn't easily turn around and attack. "Don't. Move."

The pirate rested his arms against his side, trying to force himself through his remaining drunkenness, blindness, and pain to figure out what to do now, especially since he now had a mage to contend with. There was no telling what a she witch like her would do.

Meanwhile, Gwen noted the state of her allies then stalled on what to do next. Killing him now would be the most sensible, but she'd never...She knew how to in case of need, but to actually, take a life? Have his blood stain her hands and leave her marked forever? He'd have no conpitions about taking her life or that of Cicero or Dalious. Ugh, what to do, what to do?

Home: Wanders through the realm, though considers the seaside of Scotland to be the closest thing to home
Powers/Abilities:
Telepathy: Can telepathically communicate with others and sense where other people are or overhear their thoughts.
Empathy: She can sense other people's emotions as well as broadcast her own or an emotion she's creating.
Selkie Transformation (racial trait): As a selkie, she is a seal in water but can take off her skin to become human on land.
Mixed Martial Artist: Has her own unarmed martial art style that mixes elements of Atlantian/Selkie and Earthian martial arts along with a typical seal fighting style that can be adjusted to suit her seal form underwater or her human form on land.
Weaknesses:
Can be overwhelmed from the sensations she experiences from her powers if there's tries to actively hear or feel more than ten people at once.
Powers can become erratic if she gets too emotional, especially if she becomes extremely emotionally distraught or panicked
Her seal skin is actively connected to her, even in human form. Meaning that if it is hurt, she experiences the same pain. She could live if its completely destroyed while in human form, but she could never become a seal again. Therefore, whoever has her skin does have power over her as is the case with other selkies.
Equipment: Pan flute, emergency knife, a dozen throwing knives, and her seal skin. (only in human form. Seal doesn't have equipment for obvious reasons.)
Experience: 2 years
Reason For Joining: To help protect the realm, especially from kidnappers. To be on the front lines in case humans decide to try a full on invasion. To prove that selkies can do more than most people expect.
Appearance: While seal, she's a slender silvery grey seal with mottled black and tan spots, large black eyes, and long whiskers. While human, she's black-haired with light tan skin that contains a silver tinge to it and freckles. Her oval face and sharp chin are paired with dark, almost black, brown eyes with larger than normal pupils and long hair that goes down to the small of her back.
BRIEF Bio: Most men know the legend; if you steal a selkie skin, then the selkie must become your wife and will stay so as long as she can never find her seal skin. Ari's life has been shaped from the effects of that myth. Oh there is truth, a selkie's bond with her skin makes it so that one would do anything to prevent it from harm or be able to have a chance to grab it back, even a mockery of marriage. Since barely any aid for their captured kindred came from other sources, the clans organized themselves to be able help those trapped to reclaim their skins, seek their revenge, and return home. When Ari's powers developed, she was a natural for the on land expeditions and keeping watch whenever they visited the shore. As the years went by, Ari became better at using her powers and protecting her people. Now on behalf of the former King, she will extend her protection to the rest of Atlantis.
Notes: Selkies could be considered the wandering gypsies of the Atlantean world if everyone else likes that idea. Ari can definitely play her Pan flute and sing high soprano.

Joss screamed in agony as Cicero's strike struck true, aided by the ship's lurch. Gwyneria fell onto the deck, her planned spell dissipating. His left eye now wept with blood and his mind sobered up as he blindly struck away the offending sword and stepped back before switching his eyepatch over from his still functioning right eye to the left one. He snarled as he took in his two opponents and kicked at Cicero's legs to knock him down to the deck. "Ya'll pay for what you've done this night. An eye for an eye's fair, right?" Then as he aimed towards Cicero's eye...

"CICERO! Guard your eyes!" Gwyneria hollered. Then she unleashed a light ribbon from her fingers that fly to wrap around Mutiny Joss's head, overwhelming his eyesight with pure light. While making sure her ribbon held as she pushed herself to her feet, she hoped that her allies weren't also affected. She rushed the remaining distance just in case, dagger at the ready.

Did Dalious and Cicero guard their eyes before the light or not?
