@RaeoftheLight "Aye, you be wizards?" A large broad shouldered, tanned man calls out in a gruff voice.
His friend, more slender and stylish with his black hair slicked back, looks on nervously as he toys with a few small silver rings between his fingers while quietly mumbling something to his friends.
Meanwhile disdain for the interruption sits heavily upon the short hippie woman's face. Her lips are pressed tight and she says nothing.

Azerus steps off the boat with a splash. Even the smallest of the three are still bigger than him, even so he still holds that stupid confident grin as he balls his hands into fists by his sides.
The islanders haven't noticed yet.

A Wizards Life: a fairytail guild battle story.

@Bishop You don't run your own jobs. You can tag along but you will be running it for other players. Only GM's and Co-GM's can run high paying jobs and it's also their duty to ensure no one is 'gold digging' and will step in with hidden expenses and taxes if required.

The only reason there is a levelling system at all is to give the long standing active members reward/authority/acknowledgement over new-comers. Hence stating it shouldn't be the goal of the game. It's also to replicate the wizard ranking system from the show.

There will be small stories and occasionally bigger ones that affect the entirety of the guild. It's about building your character and guild rep.

As for powers it helps if you are familiar with the show but if not that is ok.
Let me know what you want and if there is any issues we can work on it.

Azerus sighed as Moeasha complained with worry. Well by his actions and demeanour that appeared to be how he read her words.
He look at down at his open hands as if contemplating something, then finally shrugged it off.

Nearing the dense cloud Azerus stands, having no difficulty finding his balance.
He slightly twists his head as he listens to the winds carefully.
"Ok, give it a try." he whispers to her.

........

Fortunately it was real fog, drawn to magic crystals placed around the outskirts of a small island. Hidden behind the fog was an island only 50 meters wide, there were a few fruit trees, a nice little shack and a decent sized house boat anchored at the other end. An open fire roasted some fish surrounded by two bearded men and a woman with long dreadlocks.

They would all look to Azerus and Moeasha with a stunned surprise.

Beneath the waves a small glow of light could be seen trailing alongside a long wide shadow. Eventually the light grew brighter as it surfaced and Azerus popped up alongside the boat.
He showed no gratitude for her presence and didn't give a second to acknowledge that she chose to leave him, instead getting straight to the point.
"It goes in a straight line that way." he points to a small obscuring cloud of mist sitting on the waters surface in the near distance.
"I think what ever caused this thing is hidden just beyond that fog."

Azerus then struggles to pull himself into the little rocking rowboat.
Ignoring the oars he sits at the front bow and eagerly peers at their destination, filled with curiosity and wonder. He gives a little shiver as goosebumps line his skin.

@RaeoftheLight Azerus stopped swimming and floated in one spot, the night sky glistened on his wet skin as he was engulfed in the shimmering moonlight that danced around him, playing in the gentle waves beneath the deep dark cold starry filled night sky.
He watched on with a deniable feeling of disappointment as Moeasha headed off in the opposite direction away from him. Leaving him. Abandoning him. 'Better now then later.' He thought to himself as he took a deep breath and retreated beneath an oncoming wave to search below the ocean surface.

Hmm other option is a boat?
If Azerus sees her afraid to jump on he will swim back and grab a not-broken boat.
Maybe you call him to a boat because you can plug the holes?
