Background Information

Family: Arden's father was a good man, simple honest hardworking farmer, he just happened to be a little week of will. Arden's mother was a selfish and jealous temptress. Angered over petty sibling rivalry she seduced her sisters husband.
She had not wanted a child, only a spiteful indulgent satisfaction. But a child is what she got. It had hurt her sisters marriage but not enough to break them apart. They were stronger than that.
Furious, not wanting to be stuck husband-less with a child the jealous sister, Arden's mother, put her own newly born son up for adoption.

History: An orphan, he was raised in a very strict and religious boarding school. There he learned to fight and developed his angst for authority. Running away early he spent his younger years on the harsh unforgiving streets where he only grew to further resent the rich and privileged.

Despite his displeasure he often resorted to frequenting a local church as a last means of food, and it was there that he met a young girl around his own age and fell for his first crush. The two were near inseparable and eventually her family adopted him. Life did not suddenly and instantly become free or easy, while they took him in under their tutorage and taught him the basics of education, he still had to work hard for every meal and cost nights sleep.
This was no ordinary family that had adopted young Arden, the small close knit group were not even all related. In truth the girls small family was actually pack of hunters who needed many things tended to.

At first the young boy was reluctant to work, or worse, conform. But as time passed and the difficulties of street life caught up with him, in his own time he soon took to the offer. First he worked just for the essential food, then as curiosity took hold of him he became hooked on their philosophies and learnt much more of religion, combat and even magic.

However, it was still no place to call home. One sudden day, two of the older family members never returned from their hunt. From that day on Arden's responsibilities grew. He was to provide food, maintain the weaponry, gather supplies and run errands. At the same time of his duties growing so too did his inclining towards magic.
He knew what was in store for him should the pack ever discover this so one night, after an uncontrollable shock and display of his magic, he turned to the half prepared plan he had been dreaming up and ran off into the forest with the young love of his life.

He worked tirelessly to provide for them, but despite his best efforts she fell deadly ill. Exhausting all resources available to him he instead turned to some old rumours he remembered hearing of a magical pendent owned by a witch he lived deep in the forest surrounding the mountain.

The rumours turned out to be true, Arden found and stole the pendent which saved the girls life for as long as she wears it. But at what cost.

Arden was caught and went from one life of servitude to another, only now instead of supporting the hunters he works for the fire witch Mirai. Although he can never see her again, his love will live for as long as Arden continues to please Mirai. Years have passed since their separation and he returned her to her hunter family, but Arden is sure she is alive because of a pendant that he holds forever dearly and close.

The one perk of his current situation is that he can grow and train his powers, hopefully one day defeating the witch he works for.

Well trained, he often uses his opponents momentum and weight against them. He favours unarmed combat second to only his personalised Kusarigama.
He is an expert at disarming, tripping and distracting.
Equipment: Having grown up in poverty Arden holds few possessions dear to him. He has the clothes on his back, a few spare rags, a bed roll he calls home, his pendant and Iju.
Pendant- The pendant is filled with his lost girlfriends blood. It let's him know that she is alive and safe.
Weaknesses: Impulsiveness, confidence, his desire to push and test his limits. Competitiveness. The love of his life.

Magic: As an animal the earthly viper is very discreet and stealthy. It has a chameleon's camouflage ability and can bite, taking blood as subtly as a mosquito.

Personality: Kyzler may not possess all the appropriate table etiquette's or even basics of social graces, but he is kind hearted and caring. Because of his fear of witches and his hazy memory he is often a bit reserved and cautious around strangers. Despite this he like a good drink and a laugh amongst friendly company. He never shy's away from paying for others if the coin is on him.

History: Kyzler was adopted and ran with a pack of hunters after his town was sacked and his parents murdered by witches. He was easily swayed into the hunter life not only by his burning desire for revenge but the lulling company of a beautiful young girl. Unfortunate for him he fell into a more brotherly role and had to watch on as she took a romantic interest in another and even went as far to bring this outsider into the family.
It was because of that constant pain he made the foolish decision to spare a witches life in exchange for her to take away his pain. He was lucky to get away with his life but she had done what she had said, the witch took away all his fond memories of the girl, and everyone else he had ever known.
Kyzler's curse doesn't end with only the people he had known but extends to anyone he could ever care for.

Signature Weapon: Dual enchanted swords. Not the most subtle of weapons but Kyzler is more than fond of them. The first sword is but a mere replica of the other, which took half a lifetime and many friends to obtain. It is a ancient sword of superb craftsmanship, made from techniques and materials since lost to time. It's strength and enchantments are what made it into the thing of old legends, it's wielders each one by one earning themselves a place in history.
Yes Kyzler was more than fond of it, but now he cannot remember why. He holds it dearly because it's all he has from his past but is unable to call on the powers of his majestic friend because he does not know its name.

Just an idea, but since we both use blood magic, perhaps...
Celia's father was a good man, just a little week of willed, while her aunt (mothers sister) was a selfish and jealous temptress.
Before Celias birth, her father gave child to her aunt behind his wife's back.
Neither wanted to own up to the deed or raise the child so he was sent away for adoption.

Hence the two characters share a father, and their mothers are sisters.
The relation a hidden and lost secret???

Aftermath and choices

The first thing you must know about Avey is he is mostly a pacifist, violence is not in his nature. Neither is the consumption of meat. So when he awoke in a strange place with a large cold raw slab of meet on the side of his face, one could hopefully understand why he exploded with a powerful gust of wind that threw everything about or out of the windows of the small room he was taken to.

As the windows exploded outward and glass shattered to the street a few floors below, the wind escaped the room taking with it the slab of meat, all the papers and loose sheets it could find, filling the air with a confetti like mess that slowly rained down onto the town.

Avey slowly came to his senses and wiped the dead residual slime off his pain stricken bruised and swollen face. The now nearly bare room around him seemed to be a simple cheap rental. This made him instantly curious as between Rinn and himself they didn't have a single coin to share.

Suddenly the still silence was broken by the heavy creaking steps of someone coming up the stairs.
The sound grew closer and louder as Avey looked around and panicked about what to do.
