Hey, you know what's annoying? Being self-centered. Getting mad at people for doing something instead of something else when they're just having fun sucks. Gotta love self-loathing, too.

I really have no words. You should refrain from talking about religion totally. It's really not.

That's how you sound to most people when you talk about "miracles".
It's also a true story :D
Yes. Don't give credit to whoever left the inheritance, or anything like that. Clearly it was god.

Typing this at 11:33 pm. My wifi just died on me as I was typing. It's a miracle :D lol. As if any god would give a shit.

So I typed that 2 days ago and only today found the problem. Praise jesus D:

That's irrelevant in terms of this. Whether people are in trouble or not, a good thing is a good thing. Why don't you go and save them if you actually care? I know what adrenaline feels like, and I know what God's presence feels like. So are you trying to be a jerk now, or what? Because that's what you're doing now.

Because I don't care about them. :P

Nah, I'm just wondering why god would give a shit about a performance.

According to Matthew 6:25-34: “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Those with faith that God will provide will have their needs met. Not their wants. While they may be homeless, they'll always have food to eat, clothes to wear, warmth at night.

Dude. You're really fucking wrong about that.

True. I didn't have any adrenaline flowing. Trust me, what happened there was nothing short of a miracle.

You wouldn't even know it if it were.

Oh, this is just brilliant. My wallet and Bible have both been missing for a while, and I just found them in literally the exact same place at the exact same time. That's a load off my shoulders.

Hey remember how people are starving into nothingness? Yeah, me neither. :P

So five minutes before we go into the grand hall. My allergies randomly start to utterly destroy me. I'm basically wiping my nose every couple seconds. Through the performance, I'm still dying, until we get to a song where I have an improv solo (I make up the notes and rhythms as I go along), and I'm sitting there going "Okay, no way I can do this. God, I'm just handing it to you; this is totally for your glory and not my own, so take the slide, and have at it, because I have no chance of doing this alone." And I kid you not, three measures before my entrance, all my allergies instantly clear up, and it turns into one of the best improvs I've ever done.

That's called adrenaline :P

I disagree with your disagreement. Oh, and I just killed the world again. Through some miracle, I infected an island with closed borders.

Nice. That sounds like a miracle that would happen too :P

Just let me use my metaphor, regardless of the scientific accuracy. However, even in open systems, things try to decline; the only difference is that it can be fought. For instance, if you leave a building for a few hundred years, nature is going to try to reduce it to bricks. Existence is all about entropy.

MMMmmm... I disagree.

You really have no place to talk right now. I'm trying to help someone, so either change your attitude or get out for now, because I'm not giving a science lesson, I'm encouraging a friend. I don't recall the last time you did something quite nice for someone else, so I see a lot of room for improvement in that area.

I'm sure you don't. :P
Anyway, bringing up stuff like that helps me not say things, since I'd probably drive him to a bunch of crimes if I tried to help.
