Amicus is friend. A lot of the feminine nouns sound Spanish, for example, Puella, Regina, Patria, Aqua, Glória, the list goes on and on. Many European languages were derived from Latin, as it were. You can clearly see it in Latin and Spanish, and you can see the roots in English. Also, while the first person versions of the verbs I told you sound Spanish, the other persons and plurals sound more Italian. The second conjugation is Móneo, Mones, Monet, Monémus, Monétis, Monent.
It's a [i]tad[/] bit overrated. The first three games suck massively though, but a reboot of them would be awesome. 4 should be great whenever the hell it finally comes out.
