Aliens are in the shadows, stalking mankind, and watching them...and breaking them. Various species are on earth, all for different reasons. You(participants) are either those that find out that they exist, or one of them yourselves.
But another race, with an organized agenda is coming in. What is it, few know, and fewer yet live. They're coming for earth, and you have to do as nature intended; fight...or flight.
Well, If the god of wisdom and knowledge didn't abuse her, she'd like him simply because he's smart. More conversation. But if he's a jerk, she will torture him, even at the risk of terminating something new from all existence.

The people call it the Teeth of Madness, due to those without magic having a small chance of surviving there, often disappearing, never to be seen again.
Biography: Personality: Dirka is an intelligent being, always experimenting with magic to create new things. She does however do seem-ably random acts just for the hell of it, and constantly do things that people don't understand. She does have morals and doesn't like really evil things or the miss-use of magic, and often sends the souls of evil casters to a place in the Rift that breaks minds and torments the people that miss use magic. Those that piss her off are likely to have a very bad and/or short life. She loves anything that invents something new. It's the best way to get on her good side. She also likes music, however basic. History: Dirka started out as one of the older gods, and one of the most reasonable. She loved humanity and the planet, and many other things. But as time went on, she slowly lost her mind. Within a century of man's existence, she was as mad as the mad hatter.

Oao: "What a poor thing! Always hidin', and never smilin'." she sighs as she waves her hand with light. "People say some are afraid of their own shadows, while she's afraid of the whites of her eyes. Just won't do! Maybe a cover for during the day as a gift? Will she smile then? Plus, she's been gone for far too long since the spire...will I ever see my sister?"
Anu'Varr: "Pity, pity. I may have lost my mind and be uglier than her, but she still thinks she has it worst. At least she didn't loose her marbles. Oh there they are!"
Ferron: She crosses her arms. "To slow, to slow for anything! Me and him are close in mind's age, but I'm still the quicker to act! He lacks soul! He ain't got no rhythm, ain't got no soul! He heh!" Starts to hum.
Iva'Krorh: "The Cataloger! The Illuminator! My mad brother! Oh splendid, splendid! Keeps track of all my tricks, and he doesn't mind if he's the punchline! Ha! He learns, and that's what matters. Just look at all the little bird tomes he has!" Starts to sing like a bird.
Hayim: "The pretty bloom! Oh, he's so adorable!" Makes a glowing flower of red grow at her knees. "He thinks the world can be better than it is, but it's truly perfect already! Balance is key in anything, but my little friend just doesn't know. For there to be perfection, something must corrupt it, and for there be corrupt, there must be something to corrupt that is perfect."
Iarus: "My protege? The one that takes my tricks and turns them dark? The trickster? She pouts a little. "Why, if he asks for help, I'll help, but if he asks for a trick, I'll smack him upside the bucket known as his head. Maybe my madness will rub off and I can be a better teacher." Starts to think hard.
Sommler: She clapped like a giddy schoolgirl. "He is a good chatterbox! Nice little conversations to break the siblings minds! He questions it all, and I give him more to question! Oh, the coincidence!" She sobers at her thoughts trailing. 'But oh so fearful! Does he not know knowledge is infinite?"
Azhriel: She stops playing with a pool of mana with a questioning look."The Judge? We have a deal, nothing more. I get to torment those who miss use my domain, and in turn I leave him be. Simple!" She continues to play with the liquid magic.
Sveiand: She gains a distasteful look. "I like the artist's work, but not the man behind the chisel."
Naswaru: "The King of Beasts! He is indeed someone I give praise. He does a just and godly work. He!" She starts to giggle and sing about dragons and fiends.
Dao Rugadh: She waves her hands in front of her in a shooing morion. "The first memory? A twisted tale that twists tales? He is as evil and ambitious as my sister!"
Ragnagedon: As soon as she hears the name she turns violently. Her eye is twitching. She starts to move dramatically as she talks. "That Jack-A__! Kill my Sorcerers, Make my wisps blink like fire flies into oblivion! Burn the Fire god, with fire of cold sod! Make his nethers fall off from frost bite, his mind forever tormented by my angered strife! Raagh!"
Ral: She laughs madly as if his name was a bad joke. "Oh! That's a good one. Him? A god? I think not! He is someone who drank an immortality potion by accident, more likely! God of Money? Could you get anymore pointless! Who uses metal in such a way? Morons, that's who! Metal is made for making golems and tables and weapons to defend yourself, even Ferron would tell you that! Look at this bracelet! It's metal, but it sure as hell ain't something I would trade!" She continues to laugh, eventually doubling over from it.
Drakarios: "The three headed beast with a loony piece? I care not of his existence, if only a matter of his insistence. He bellows, whispers and snarls all at once. And I question whether it is truly three minds or one..."
Gammaton: "A pompous fool, and an ugly one at that. All he truly seeks is power over all the gods, but this is what I say to him!" She does a raspberry while moving the peace sign upward. "Jog on!"
Hyperion: She seemed disgusted he was mentioned. "The pretentious windbag has attempted to mend his ways, he still sets Oao a blaze! Those two bickering is something to cause snickering! Ha! Like my sister would toler- oh wait, she does! I bet she could snuff him out like I do with VooDoo dolls!" She picks up a Voodoo doll of Hyperion and pokes it in the rear with a needle of bone. "Maybe he felt that, maybe he didn't, but it's still fun!" she does it again.
Baina Ez: Dirka dismissed the name with her hand. "Another one obsessed with power and control. The only thing I care for about it is the fact that it is selfish and gullible, which is manipulative. If I want there to continue to be balance in the world, it is a key point, but they can be stubborn, so they also might simply be an annoyance. I've been spending waaaaay too much time with my siblings. Their making me sane!"
Nerplaguis: She stops reading a scroll temporarily. "Creepy, crawly...why not more jolly? He provides a service, but makes the rest nervous. Why sweet diseases are just so tasty, but makes humans pasty..." She goes back to reading her scroll.
Van Kurr: She swims over to the edge of a mana pool and smiles. "Van needs a little love in his life, that's all. Maybe I could make him a woman? Unless he swings the other way...Now that's a worrisome thought. Then I won't get to make him anything." She continues to swim, making bubbles in the glowing, oozing yet watery liquid.
She made the rift's skeleton, and adds to it everyday with but a thought and snap of her fingers. It is her home, but it leaks into the mountains, were the labyrinth lies. It is the place were all magic goes and all spells made initially. It contains Drika's wildest and most powerful creations, and the core of it a garden of plants that glow and have great power themselves.
The Labyrinth is her one of her proudest creations. It shifts, moves, morphs, and more just to keep those she doesn't want there at bay. It's full of magical traps that kill and maim, rip the soul in half, and breaks minds. It is also full of her more violent creations; the Dark elves, the Gorgon, the Lycathane(a dog like beast with scales and covered in armor of magic) and more that destroy anything in their paths. The maze runs deep and wide, getting close to Oao's realm. Those who are in her favor, such as the mountain tribe of sages, Iva'krorh, Heyim, and others can go through it without trouble. Those who are not are likely to loose themselves, their souls, their minds, and their lives. Gods that attempt to traverse who are not welcome are sent out, as the Labirynth is thick with magic, and her domain does everything it asks of her. Many a mage who are young in their trade go here as a right of passage. Those who are corrupted in their thoughts to mis use magic are often killed and sent to Azhriel's domain.
The most basic of the fey. Wisps are balls of pure magical energy. The are mischievous pranksters but also guides. They are still very dangerous.
The Teeth of madness is a mountain chain connected with the rest of the world on a peninsula. If that alone was the hardest thing, the mountains surrounding the main chain stand tall, with only one pass that travelers can take. The inner mountains are covered in trees and water features, but the oddest part is that the plants look unnatural, an odd glow seems to emanate throughout the forest. The area is filled with magical creatures, every tree may be more than simply looking human, every flower glowing like a roaring fire, every boulder smooth yet jagged. Eyes wander in the shadows, and none without magic are safe. The people that live here live in comfort, in their own deranged sense of it. They live with no buildings, because they live in glades were the canopy is so thick the elements can't pass through. They are a mad people, obsessed with their god and her domain.
"Two crystal golems made of purple and blue gems came into the glade magically, dragging a man with torn black tribal attire. His raven black hair was long and greasy, and it covered his face. He was skinny yet muscular, and had pale grey skin, seem-ably with claws instead of nails. She stopped playing, then walked forward. She smiled the entire time, then snapped her fingers and the golem sentries went away. The man slumped on the floor and bowed. "My lady...You asked for your most loyal servant?" he raised his head, revealing his wolfish grin, and glowing blue orbs for eyes."

Rules of the magic domain: 1. The more power one uses, the more energy one needs to sustain it. 2. The longer one uses magic, the madder they get. 3. Those who use magic to bring back the dead, en-lengthen life, kill without "good" intent, curse another without her consent, and steal are after-forth considered enemies of magic and will be shunned and targeted in life, and tormented in death. 4. Rituals require ingredients of magical herbs and gems, and the more complex, the more required. 5. Magical artifacts are only as strong as the materials they are made from, magic wise. 6. Rituals require speech. Singing works best.

"Turn the TV off, it's bed time Stuart. Don't wanna be drowsy for patrol, do you?" Perilous said, rising sleepily from the sink behind the bar. She still had signs of her time spent by the fire. She opened one pale eye and was in awe for a moment. Then she remembered. "Oh...I thought you had a concussion? Also, what was the loud as hell noise? I was sleepin' damnit!" She puffed herself up and put her arms on her goo base.
