This RP has gotten insanely slow as of late. Disturbingly slow.
I have a Spider-Man post that should be up tonight (or very early tomorrow, mattering on your time zone.

Christopher Arthur III
Chris sat alone in his office that was located in the Sherman Center. Since the heroes that he had assembled had already defeated and apprehended Doctor Diplodoc and his allies, they all went their separate ways. Those who lived in Lost Haven returned to their own turf, while those, who did not call Lost Haven their home, were given transportation back to their respective cities. The only thing left to do was to hand over their vanquished foes to S.T.R.I.K.E. The only person who was not accounted for was War-Pulse. However, Chris believed that not looking for him was the correct choice because it gave the mercenary a head start over S.T.R.I.K.E. War-Pulse’s performance in the field at least warranted this courtesy.
As he reviewed the reports of their operation against Doctor Diplodoc, Chris came to this conclusion. Even though the heroes had butted heads against one another a couple times, in the end, they still managed to solve a problem that they could not have done alone. In fact, if these team-ups continued to be common occurrences, Chris thought that they might as well make some kind of active team so that they could respond to similar important events.
While he was still in thought, his desk phone began to ring. On the other line, his butler, George, alerted Chris that there were two black-suited men waiting in the lobby. Chris wondered what this was about because the S.T.R.I.K.E. agents were not supposed to arrive for another hour or so. And in his experience with the spy organization, Chris knew that S.T.R.I.K.E. would never be this early.
“Send them up.” Chris told George.
After a few minutes had passed, the two agents exited the elevator and entered into Chris’ office.
“So, what can I do for Uncle Sam?” Chris asked the two agents before they could have a chance to introduce themselves or show some credentials.
“FBI.” The two men told Chris as they pulled out their credentials. “We’re here to take Dorian Dipillan into Federal custody.”
Chris raised his eyebrows when he heard this. He was under the assumption that STRIKE was going to handle Doctor DIplodoc and his allies. The two FBI agents then handed over some documentation that supported the FBI agent’s story.
“So, why are you guys picking him up again?” Chris asked, trying to pull some information from the two men.
“That’s classified.” One of the agents told him, stonewalling Chris from gaining any more information on the subject.
“Well, we all know about the domes and their mutagenic effects on humans. That’s not really a secret.”
“Again, classified.” The agent repeated himself.
After contemplating his situation, Chris reached down to the intercom on his desk.
“George, will you please show these two fine men where we’re holding the good doctor?”
Once the two FBI agents had left, departing down the elevator, Chris turned his attention back to his computer. One way or another, Chris was going to find out what this was about.

@Dedonus You forgot about Arachne's sizable assets, her Drider Legs of course. I mean what else could I be referring to when I speak of assets.
In this case, her lower body is replaced by that of a spider (like a drider - spider-centaur basically - in certain fantasy franchises).

@Dedonus I was thinking of a character based off Black Suit Spider-Man, or better yet the Toxin symbiote but not as powerful as it.
But I can't think of an origin for why a sort-of symbiote like creature would find and want to co-exist with a human being, nor can I think of a satisfying origin.
It might be useful to break down the idea into its fundamental parts. So for a symbiote-like character, we need to understand that the essence of the idea is that a character has been infected by some sort of parasite. Parasites come in all sorts of organisms: animals, plants, fungi, bacteria, etc. You can ask questions like do you want the parasite to coat the victim or remain buried inside while bestowing superhuman powers onto its host? Also, what sort of relationship do you want the host and parasite to have? For Venom, for instance, it was almost metaphorically representing the "crazy ex-girlfriend who hasn't moved on yet". Is the relationship sinister (something that seeks hosts for survival and eventually burns the host out) or mutual (something that helps or benefits the host).
There can also be a variety of origins for this idea. It does not have to have an origin from space. Maybe it's man-made. Or something mystical in nature. Just play around with the idea until you find something that is satisfactory.

Unlike Kid Lanturn's game that has a similar premise as this one, there isn't any calling dibs on powers. While variety is the spice of life, there isn't any restriction on what powers your character can have if another character already has a similar power.
As NMS (Nitemare Shape FYI) already mentioned, first read through the rules. While they are really similar to the rules in All-Star Marvel, it is still a good idea to look through them.
Although we don't want you to just make "clones" of Marvel and DC characters, you can still take inspiration from them. I give some examples with my characters. A quick caveat before I begin. Before I even found this game, I had already created all three of the characters that I am about ready to talk about. So, I understand if it seems difficult to create something "unique".
My first PC is Raptor. I would say that this character was least influenced by Marvel and DC characters. Besides his claws that kind of resemble Wolverine's, minus the adamantium (although ironically he probably have only used them once through this entire roleplay), his theme is a play on the trope where heroes (or villains) have animal motifs. Usually, these characters have powers that correspond with their animal motif (Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, etc), but the majority of them still look entirely human. To play with this trope, my character here, in addition to having powers related to a Velociraptor, has physical attributes associated with that animal, too, such as a dinosaur tail and the signature foot claw. His girlfriend, too, follows this pattern (in this case, features of a wasp).
My second PC is Iron Knight. As his name might hint at, he is influenced by Iron Man (and a little bit by Batman). Although there are some similarities between Christopher Arthur (Iron Knight's identity) and Tony Stark, such as being rich, using powersuits, being orphans, and having a butler and secretary, there are differences, especially in his backstory. He doesn't have any technology keeping him alive. He has a half-sister to take care of since their parents died. He works with our game's version of SHIELD (something that, from my knowledge of the character, Tony Stark would have shied away from). The important thing is, even though there are a few similarities, there are also differences that make these two characters distinct from one another (so you could make a Veen Diagram chart for them).
My third (and final) PC is Arachne. Just like Iron Knight, you can kind of see that she was influenced by Spider-Man. Having, if you were to examine her character, you would see that past her powers, she really doesn't have anything in common with Peter Parker. She does not share a tragic background. She doesn't have the same career path. Her powers were NOT given to her by a spider bite. Even her powers are a little different, as she follows Raptor's pattern. In this case, her lower body is replaced by that of a spider (like a drider - spider-centaur basically - in certain fantasy franchises).
In conclusion, I would not recommend trying to model your character after [insert Marvel/DC character here] just because you want to play that character. Instead, it probably would be better to mix and match ideas together. A remember that you can find inspiration from outside of DC and Marvel lore, or even comic books. We just don't want a character whose backstory looks as if it was ripped from a wiki page and the names were replaced.
