Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

So my financial aid stuff for college is complete, finally, and I can actually start taking courses now, so I may have to but this RP on hold for awhile. Can't really write with very well while dealing with all the stress of checking different accounts and whatnot.
Well hate to have to go inactive so soon, but now that my financial aid for college is finally done, and my courses can be taken, I might not be on the Guild as often as I'd like and my posts may be practically nonexistent due to the lack of motivation to write with all the stress I'm dealing with at the moment.

"...and that's all for the weather. In other news, the body of a woman in her late twenties was found in Prospect Park early yesterday morning by a pair of cyclists who were riding through the area. Police were notified and are currently investigating grisly incident. Although details of the event have not been released to the public, the chief of the NYPD has gone on record stating that the possibility of homicide cannot be entirely ruled out-" The man began, but was cut off abruptly as Rayner switched off his TV. Placing the remote back onto the small upholstered box stand off to his right, Rayner got up from his seat and slowly strode over to the windows overlooking the central area of his apartment complex. Letting out a small sigh as he took a moment to soak in some of the warm sunlight streaming into the small room, Rayner folded his arms behind his head and peered out into the bright world beyond, his mind focused on two things.

The fact that the authorities had found his kill.

And the brief spell of madness that had overtaken him in the park.

"I mean, of course they found her. It's not as if I had gone out of my way to dispose of the body..." Rayner muttered to himself as he took a step back from the windows and began to pace back and forth across the room.

Though to be fair, it's not as if he could have cleaned up after himself, even if he had wanted to. Seriously, where was he going to hide a body in a park? He hadn't brought a shovel with him that night, so burying her hadn't been an option. And just stuffing her in the closest trashcan was sloppy. He shook his head. It just couldn't be helped. At least he had gone about it in a way that didn't immediately oust him as the one who had committed the crime. Though the contact he'd had with her before her death meant that he'd be questioned and considered a suspect until further notice. But if he was careful, he wouldn't be caught. Least not before being able to deal with whoever possibly decided to come after him.

As for the madness, it was somewhat concerning. This whole time he'd been killing, he'd never experienced a loss of control like that. And that worried him. He didn't like not being in control, especially given his goal, as it would quickly become a major detriment to his completion of it. That and the fact that it could easily get him killed if he succumbed to it at the wrong time. Rayner squeezed his eyes shut briefly and took a deep breath before opening them again.

He'd have to be more vigilant about how close he came to that edge in the future.

Rayner shook his head, letting his arms fall back to his sides as he sat back down on the couch. Clearing his mind, he decided to spend the rest of the morning studying the rhythms bouncing around his skull. Perhaps he could find a new way to use some of his recently acquired abilities. If not, then at least they'd help take his mind off things.

Before fully retreating into his mind however, one last thought popped up.

"I wonder what happened to that Great Fox looking spaceship..."

Got it. I'll work on moving him into the inn.
I just realized that I have yet to describe what Valtix looks like. Eh, maybe I'll just leave it up to your imaginations.
~ALASTOR~

Alastor stared at the man for a bit, clearly not comprehending or not caring about anything he said, before shifting his attention to the food on the table before him. Reaching down, he picked up the burger and held it up to his face, examining it briefly, before setting it back down and moving on to inspect the other items he'd been given. After he was finished with that, he picked the burger up once more and brought it up to his mouth, letting it stay suspended there in his hand for a bit before opening his jaw and clumsily taking a bite.

It took the Laizu a while, but he finally managed to work out the process of chewing and swallowing. Placing the burger back down on its wrapper, Alastor took note of the complex taste it had, before moving onto the fries, of which he found the salty flavor to be strange, and lastly the banana shake. The most gods awful drink he'd ever had the misfortune of drinking. Not only was it freezing cold, it was also extremely thick and rich to the point of being damn near undrinkable. And the flavor... it was just... bleh. So, setting the "drink" back dow on the table, Alastor quickly swallowed what little remnants of the beverage was left in his mouth before making an expression of disgust.

"That's disgusting." He said, casting an annoyed glance over at Andy as he gestured to the shake. "I can't believe you actually drink that stuff."

Valtrix nodded at Ikani as he got up from his chair and walked over to a nearby console, shooting the members of the Daedalus delegation a curious glance as he did so. He didn't know what they were arguing about and he wasn't sure he wanted to, but it seemed to be important, to them at least. He shook his head slightly, pushing the thought from his mind, and quickly finished his jaunt to the console. Pressing a few of the crystalline buttons embedded in its face, Valtrix brought up a three-dimensional holographic display of the surrounding systems, none of which were recognizable obviously, at the bridges center for easy viewing.

Stepping away from the console, Valtrix walked over to another one nearby and leaned against it, crossing his arms over his chest as he examined the map himself. It was an odd thing really. For while it showed accurate displays of the surrounding systems, details that had also been grabbed by his ships systems when he had scanned the area upon arrival, it did not display any of their names as there was no real reference point in this reality upon which his crafts computer systems could base its current naming conventions.

Meaning that until he could enter the data manually, or find some piece of local data storage technology that was compatible with his own storage tech, they were stuck having to find out the name of whatever world they were going to travel to themselves. Not a very exciting prospect. As it would not only oust them as foreigners, but it would also cause whatever native inhabitants they came across to try and pry deeper into their business.

Something none of them needed to deal with. Especially given their current situations.

"The map is up." Valtrix said to the room at large. "Now we just have to figure out where to go."

I'd say stick with what you have and know for now.
It's easy to get muddled if you have to many things to keep track of.

Well I could bring Fenris back, as it is what it is, but if I did a new character, it'd be similar to starting the game over again. I might mention Fenris at times, but then again I might not. I only bring the idea up as I was considering playing a villain character.
Welcome back.

It's good to be back. Not sure if I want to bring Fenris back into this or do a completely different character.
Well screw it. I'm coming back to this now that I seem to have more time.
