” Ummm… I don't think a spoon would do much damage Miss.” Erin said as her pale complexion turned a bit whiter from fear. Clueless. This was what the girl felt to the sudden reaction from Kat though the woman seemed more gentle to everyone the she interacted with by nature or at least that's what she thought. Now the teenager wasn't so sure anymore. Either the woman thought the darker half had escaped her cage or something terrible had happened. Both a possibility consider the world they lived in. A world full of monsters where no one was safe from harm. Not even in the high school since the young woman considered herself among the monster guild lines now which make things worst for the other human beings inside this place.

"Don't scare me like that kid," the mother seemed to gently scold. Erin's eye look to the left in thought as the woman turned around to do something.” How long has it been since I heard those type of words? When did I stop hearing the gentle scolding of a mother's voice? Was it before the explosion and the fire or after father's experiment went wrong due to a hidden gas leak? Was death sudden or was it inside the hospital that they finally passed away? What did they look like I wonder? Was mother kind or cruel? Did they do it as a suicide attempt or was it really an accident?” these thoughts played inside her mind before Kat brought her back to reality.

"Nothing special I'm afraid. Spagettios is the extent of our cuzine this morning." tears started to form inside the girl's eyes when the meal was listed. Ava loved Spagettios since she was a baby mostly because it was easier to eat then Beef Jerky or cereals. Now the child’s life was lost among many others whom most likely had a life waiting for them. A chance that was no longer available to them but was available to the living and creatures that didn't truly deserve it. "My throat feels like someone had it in a vise, but other then that I'm fine," the girl wiped the forming tears away before the mother could even noticed they had formed in the first place.

He must be very worried about you.” if the teenager didn't know better she would have sworn Matt had physic powers though he could have decided to check in with his family. Erin believed it was a very good time to go before things became very awkward that was the idea before something pulled on her shoe strings.

She couldn't help but watch the child knotting and looping the strings as if trying to fix them. The young woman just stood there not daring to move an inch so the baby could continue her fun. Granted the small kid should have been screaming bloody murder yet she stayed which made the teenager feel just a sliver better though once the darker half appeared then maybe the screaming would start. The lighter half didn't even noticed the father say something or even leave the room until Kat placed a cup inside her hands.” I don't understand why everyone is so kind to me. I can see the familiar fear in all of the eyes here yet you all treat me like a normal person. I wonder if my mother was much like the women here or if she even looked similar to anyone here.” Erin mumbled as she sat down on the ground.

Black was the only one who would play russian roulette with the young woman though the man's gun always seemed empty.” Why would I be in love with my sibling? Besides last time I knew Axel was male.” Black said as he blinked. The pirate just sighed before feeling tears well up inside her eyes.

How long had it been since someone had gotten her gender right on the first try? ” You're just a science experiment and nothing more. You can't have a normal life because of what you truly are!
