Midnight tournament area

As the blast from Bertrand's fireball settled, the doll's body had been pinned down on the ground by the vigilante called Wolf. Then picked up, by the hair first and put into a headlock by the larger Wolf.

But Bertrand was unresponsive, even as his face was being cracked by Wolf's armored fingers. The doll gave no reply. For he was gone already by the time Wolf had placed his foot at him. But it was now that the energy which had been stored within him began to seep out. Purple and mistlike in appearance, lingering for a moment until it vanished alltogether. Bertrand's face began to shatter and crumble in, then the rest of his body began to crack aswell and it would slip out of Wolf's grasp and land on the floor in a pile. Looking like someone broke alot of pottery. That and the clothes he had worn.

Celine's expression was filled with fear and sadness, she couldn't see a way out of this. If they returned to their master without the girl, or if they still would linger and fight they would most assuredly not make it.

Seeing Wolf shatter her fellow doll, her brother in a sense just like that. It was too much, his sacrifice would not be in vain. As long as she could escape with the hostage. "One move and I'll break her neck! Stand back!" Celine said in a warning tone. She didn't want to really harm the girl, but she had to leave with her.

Adam. Where are you? This is bad...

"Darla! Get to outpost charlie! Now! Tell our master I've got her! Leave this to me..."

Celine readied herself to create a barrier of energy around herself and Andras if Vernon or Wolf would take another step forwards. While there were others present it was those two which she was keeping an eye on, slowly stepping backwards still trying to hold unto Andras.

"Tell them to back off right now..." Celine said in a hushed tone to Andras through gritted teeth. "I don't want to hurt you... but you leave me no choice."

Darla had nodded quickly with a somewhat displeased expression on her face, she however could feel how the energy their master had granted to her was seeping out of her broken arm. She quickly jumped and ran, as fast as she could towards the exit. She was not as strong or tall as the others, but she was quick. And this was a moment to make use of it, hopefully it would be enough. Being a doll she also could likely outlast any pursuer by stamina alone.

The panic was her strongest motivation to leave, even though it meant leaving Celine alone. Darla was someone who was used to follow orders from her fellow dolls and more so her master. They could do most of the thinking and planning and she could look at beautiful things. Until her master would find and destroy them ofcourse.

As she ran she said out loud without thinking of it. "Bertand... Celine... I'm.. I'm gonna... I will... " She narrowed her eyes in some sense of mental pain artificial tears building up.

Master Galbrek.. please save me! Darla thought to herself in a praying manner. She had made it to the main entrance and threw one last glance behind her to see if anyone was following her. She was like a deer being hunted by a pack of wolves. Or possibly one Wolf.

Vittorio and Galbrek

Vittorio narrowed his eyes, not as angry as some might expect but in a painful manner before his echoing voice was heard yet again.

"My brush with death has been a long one, Celestine..." The ghostly looking young man finally relaxed and retracted his tentacle like wings as he let go of Celestine, including the one which had been severed by Galbrek.

"Your intention is good, but I am not a dreamer. I am a dream chaser. If I do not go after what I feel in my heart, I may lose yet again." He looked abit disappointed and troubled. "Do forgive me. I know of your past and my intention is not to make a mocking out of you. I would not get in the way of your revenge, I would trust your judgement... why can't you trust mine?" Vittorio's wings flickered and he began to reshape the part that had been cut off, a slightly strained expression forming on his physical self, with a sweaty look on his face. Meanwhile Galbrek had wiped off his attire and used Adam's back as a neatly convinient doormat to wipe his shoes at before he stepped off at the former's hand. Adam didn't make a sound but he slowly got to his feet afterwards, looking worse for wear than before.

"The tea can wait. This matter cannot. Gather what you can, I doubt anyone will come down here to see this half-corpse anyways. He has no friends alive anymore after all." Galbrek said with a matter of fact voice, certain it would irk both Vittorio and Celestine who could possibly be regarded as somewhat connected to the former.

"Adam, get yourself in shape. You look terrible. We are going back to grab my new toy. Best don't keep me waiting you two. I hate to be disappointed." Galbrek moved out through the door and Adam offered both Vittorio and Celestine an appologetic bow with his upper body.

Vittorio remained silent for awhile after Galbrek had left the room.

"That boy's words are poison. But even so I cannot turn a blind eye to this. If I don't go I will die of regret. If you could would you turn back time to change things if you could, Celestine? In my case turning back time would not change anything at all. I never regretted what I did, and had I been given a second try I would have done the same thing. The only difference is that now I have the power I did not have back then. Now I have the means necessary to get revenge." His gaze shifted and pointed to his physical body. "I don't have much time left in any case. I don't have to be a doctor to know this. But it is fine. All I want is to have my revenge. Don't you want the same?" The ghostly figure turned to Celestine. "I will go now. Please do not stop me. Lest you seek to become like those you were subjected to back then?" He began to float towards the doorway, looking over his ghostly shoulder to Celestine.

Meanwhile Galbrek and Adam had just exited the building by the same door they entered. Outside they went to the mailboy's bike and then Galbrek stretched his arms abit.

"I really do not like this bike for transportation, it is very uncomfortable and makes me very weary. I guess it cannot be helped. Get back to it, Adam." Galbrek said as he climbed up in front on the bike where the mail packages would have been carried and directed Adam to drive back to the Midnight tournament area.

"Yes... master Galbrek." Adam said in a slightly tired way, but without any hesitation to the task he had been given.

Meanwhile at the tournament grounds...

Bertrand had been slammed into the ground at immense speed and power, sending a crackling sound through his entire body. And Wolf, the one who had so aptly grabbed him noticed how Bertrand's face began to crack, leaving thin lines all over it as he connected with the ground. The young man called Wolf, at least that was what the girl had yelled out had successfully slammed him down and was now pointing his weapon to Bertrand's throat.

Darla gave a slight pout and then quickly jumped back on seeing William attempt to take her out. She was smaller than the other dolls, but also a little quicker. She gathered her given power and her fists blazed up in purple energy and she tightened her right fist and slammed it right into William's hand. "Eyyyy!" She cried out.

A loud cracking sound was heard soon after and then a like a rain of pottery shards on the floor. Her energized punch had not been strong enough to withstand William's palm, her fist had shattered on impact and sent ripples all the way up to almost her shoulder, leaving only a little stump left.

"Ahh! My arm... I-I-...I am not broken.. I can still be of use to you..uhh...uhh.." Panic and oddly enough tears starting to form on her cheeks, her face slowly shaking from side to side in disbelief. Bertrand had been taken down even easier. As if he wasn't even a challenge, it annoyed him and his eyes narrowed slightly.

"Why... you..." Bertrand said in a low tone with the weapon at his throat.

At this rate we'll all die here... but If we come back to the master without success we will...
"Darla! Run!" He yelled out, trying to grab the weapon pointed at him and manifested a purple ball of energy in his other hand which he slammed into the ground before him, seeking to take down Wolf along with him.

Celine was slowly stepping backwards, trying to hold unto Andras and was ready to project her energy barrier would she have to. But she was worried it might not be enough, she tried to keep Andras in front of her to deter Vernon from attacking her while she was slowly trying to step back from the fighting area.

"We only want the girl. Let us go now and none will be hurt. You cannot risk attacking me while this girl's life is on the line." Celine tried to talk Vernon out of attacking her, perhaps to buy time for her to get further away. Bertrand was trying to buy her time, Darla was not doing too well. This was going pretty badly.

Darla had reacted ofcourse to Bertrand's scream to her and done a backflip over near Celine. Holding up her remaining arm in a desperate manner of defense. "They are too strong! The master will... he will...we are all going to become junk!" She said out loud in a voice which could only be described as utter terror.

Bertrand... damn it all. Celine thought to herself seeing the blast ahead. "We won't as long as we have the girl. Back off! You hear me?!" Celine snarled and looked around like an angry lioness.

Galbrek and Vittorio

"I do not drink tea with commoners." Galbrek said in a very dismissive tone to Celestine. "None of us have the time for such a thing right now anyways." He tried to reassure them both while playing with a lock of his long hair but his expression grew more grim as Celestine spoke to him as if he didn't know who he was. But not only that, he then slammed his fist into Vittorio's body which caused the latter's astral form to turn to look at him, flickering a few times before it began to fade out and vanish. The move took Galbrek by surprise but no doubt even more so took Vittorio by surprise. Galbrek knew that things were just about to heaten up by quite the bit so he readied himself to do what he had to.

"What do you think you are doing?!" Galbrek yelled out in a clearly agitated way, at this rate his plans would be compromised. He had no love for Vittorio but he needed him to deal with that damn William and his servant who had some accursed power.

Don't screw around with people who are completely insane. Maybe they are both out of their minds? Vittorio is a damned dreamer. He calmed down slightly and watched how Celestine slammed Vittorio's chest again. "Fallen one. Indeed..." He pointed a finger at Vittorio's physical body whose eyes had by now flung open wide.

Vittorio's eyes darted to Celestine and then he began to manifest his astral form again, his face looking strained now and the astral form took on a slight resemblence. He dashed forwards quickly with his tentacle wings spreading out, reaching out towards both Galbrek and Celestine.

On seeing this Galbrek had prepared the right kind of plan for dealing with that. He pushed Adam in front of himself right into Vittorio's left side tentacles which in turn slapped Adam into the nearby wall as if he were a doll. He actually was a doll.

Galbrek thought he had avoided the result of the angry ghost but found a tentacle grabbing around his throat and slamming him into the wall. The remaining tentacles reached out to try grab hold of Celestine, preferably by his legs to drag him closer in order to pin him down with his tentacle wings holding his limbs in place. Not doing much actual harm to him though, he however was trying to get his point across.

"Don't screw with me! You don't understand! None does! I have to get there right now! There's no way I am just going to sit around and do nothing! Don't get in my way with this or I'll- Just... leave... me alone. Let me do this.." Galbrek felt how the tentacle was constricting around his throat and he created marionette strings from each of his fingers to slice of the tentacle holding him restrained. How he hated that someone was laying their dirty hands. Tentacles. On his infernal form. How dared he.

But this was Vittorio. He wasn't one who used common sense. This guy could without any hesitation destroy the entire room along with them including himself would the wrong move be made. Galbrek had freed himself, landing neatly with his feet on Adam's back. The latter whom had fallen to the floor after having hit the wall.

"Vittorio! Calm down.. we are not the enemy. This William person -is-." He attempted his hypnotic gaze on Vittorio before realizing it wouldn't work on his astral body, and his physical body had it's eyes closed instead he turned his hypnotic gaze over to Celestine. "You should come with me to make certain the plan is executed well then..."If he could not sway Vittorio, then perhaps Celestine could be swayed to let Vittorio of the leach. Not only that but possibly using Celestine as a distraction at the place which held his brand new toy.

"How about you'll take this William as a test subject for your research? Shouldn't be difficult..." Galbrek gave an infernal grin.

Meanwhile at the midnight tournament...

Bertrand, Darla and Celine were watching like they had done for quite awhile now. But now there was an opening and time had passed since their master had left. "Change of plans." Bertrand said to his fellow dolls. "We are moving in now to get her while the others are distracted. Darla keep the boy busy will you? We are going to catch and deliver the girl to the master. Maybe he will turn us into real humans if we do well?"

"Roger." She said in a monotone voice as the trio began to move forwards. "The fox girl has just been fighting, that guy helping the boy is in an argument and we'll never get a better chance. Let's go." Bertrand cheered his two companions on. Darla began to approach William and got up in his face, abit too close for comfort. "William. I don't think you should be here. You can get hurt. Don't get the master angry okay?" She tried to place her small feminine hand on William's chest.

Betrand and Celine then both jumped at Andras from behind, Celine attempting to grab her by the mouth with one of her hands whilst the other hand held unto her arm, while Bertrand tried to grab and hold on to her second arm in order to lead her out of there. If successful they would try to wander off in a hushed walking speed to avoid too much attention.
Vittorio and Galbrek

Still with a slightly blurred vision he saw the form of someone. He recognized this form as that of Celestine, one of the students of St.Lucifers. Celestine had always struck him as an odd one, but then again so were they all. Not to mention himself. He mustered the strength necessary and the painful rasp in his throat to reply to Celestine's question. Whilst it seemed more like a statement or confirmation of the cruel fate having befallen him.

"That... that I have. But even so I cling to hope.. that one day it will end." Vittorio allowed a soft upturn to form at the corner of his mouth as if he tried to smile but could not.

"Life is not fair... only death is fair. You only get a single chance... no matter who you are. That's why it is only fair Alto dies by my hand..." His sentence was ended with a cough which sounded it had blood in it.

"The land of the living... It feels distant to me.." He coughed again. "Ever since that day.. everything was... taken. That's when I.. truly died..." His eyes turned to the side and then back to Celestine.

"Thank you.. but no thanks. The hunger I feel cannot be qwelled by things like that..." His eyes wandered to the ceiling before he closed them and his astral self manifested next to the bed, sitting down and it turned it's head to Celestine.

"Clara and the others are in trouble. Alto and the vigilantes are both there. I tried to end him but he had assistance by some member of the police and others." His astral self lifted itself from the bed and walked over to look at the medical equipment and then back to Celestine. "I am sorry. I just cannot think about food right now."

Meanwhile...

Galbrek and Adam had finally arrived to the building which housed the St.Lucifer school. They both threw a look around to make sure they were not being tailed, before dashing into a dark alley and approached the cellar entrance.

Galbrek looked at the dirty metal door and then threw a glance to Adam and motioned to him as if expecting him to do something. Adam ofcourse by then realized what his master wanted and thus stepped up and knocked on the metal door, a lid opened after a little bit and a pair of red eyes met them both.

"Ravenovich. What buisness do you have with us at this hour?" A voice from the other end of the door asked.

Galbrek put one of his hands by his waist and the other began to fiddle with the ruffle on his shirt. "It is Lord Ravenovich to you. I have buisness of great interest to Vittorio Twinveil. Now open up this door or I shall tear it to pieces. My patience have it's limits do not test me." "That won't be necessary." The red eyed blonde young man behind the metal door slid the lid shut, then he opened the door and allowed Galbrek inside. "Whose this?" The blonde asked and pointed to Adam.

"One of my servants. Now cease your pestersome interrogation." Galbrek answered with an irritated tone in his voice. The blonde young man shrugged and shut the door close after watching to make sure none had seen them walk in. After a little bit of walking they came to the right corridor in the basement with the old wooden door. Adam looked to Galbrek and then began to open the door for his master. "Excuse us." He said in an apologetic tone of voice with lowered head.

"To think of all the trouble I have to go through tp find you, Vittorio. I have information for you. Don't think for a moment that I actually care about you. I simply hate the guts of the other guy more. Oh- You are here aswell?" Galbrek said with a not overly amused tone in his voice. "What was your name again? No. Nevermind. It is of little concern to one such as I." With outright arrogance he strolled up closer to get a better look of Vittorio's astral form and also of his bed ridden physical self.

"Sleeping well I take it? Well speaking of sleeping. Your dead friends and relatives have caught quite the interest in some parts of the city." Vittorio had kept a silent and grim stare at Galbrek, but Celestine could get the impression that these two did not like each other one bit.

"What do you mean.. Galbrek?" Vittorio asked with his ghostly eyes narrowed and concerned.

"Lord Galbrek. Some fool named William appearantly desires to raise your dear friends and family from the dead. Those wonderfully wicked necromancers. I cannot imagine how you would feel about having your dead ones bodies and souls defiled and puppeteered by some self-serving cretin. I am sure they could even fool you, if they are good enough at their craft."

"William... who is that? Necromancy?" Vittorio's face grew even more grim and his tentacles began to twitch in agitation, almost swinging out at Galbrek.

"Where... where is this William? Why is he doing something like this? Why are you here telling me about this?! What are you up to?!" Vittorio was now furious and tried his best to contain himself, even to the point of Galbrek looking abit uncertain if his approach was really the best.

"Oh hes over by the little special tournament they hold here in the city... heard about it? This boy also got in my way by preventing me from getting a brand new toy. Which as you might understand is completely unforgivable. So to put it plainly. I'll have you take care of this problem for me and you both."

Galbrek waved with his hand nonchalantly. "Do this for me and you won't have to think of a way to repay me for gracing you with my aid."

The astral form of Vittorio turned to look at Celestine. "I am going... I will not allow anyone to desecrate the bodies of the fallen. I don't do this for you however, Galbrek. I do this for their sake. Don't forget that."

Galbrek raised a somewhat arrogant eyebrow which hinted at annoyance but also curiousity, then turned his attention to Celestine. "Are you going to join him? Would be a shame if Vittorio here proves incapable of stopping this boy."
Andreim

Safe. They had arrived.

She had told him that boys were not allowed here. The idea of being caught and labeled a pervert by the rest of the school didn't annoy him as much as it would be if Lise thought of him that way. Lise had not quite fully closed the door and he looked at the gap and saw her starting to undress before he shook his head and turned his eyes away.

I can't be peeping on her godly body from this corridor of shame. I am much better than this.

Then he heard something horrible. The sounds of approaching gossip. Damn some nosey girls were out of a late stroll through the place. He needed to find a place to hide quick. But if he'd leave Lise then she will think him a big jerk. And she had the only key to his own dorm and his other things in his pockets. He had to do the risky thing and sneak into- then he heard a thump sound. Something had fallen down inside of the room.

Had someone attacked Lise in her own dorm? Unforgivable! But he had to be silent or he would be discovered. By the girls, by Lise or her attacker. He grabbed unto the door softly and slid inside, once inside he did a soft sigh and pressed up against the door abit, accidently locking it with his arm. He had avoided the Girls approaching in the corridor. But now there was an enemy in here.

Then he took a step forwards and looked if he could find Lise, and sure enough he found his empress to be on the floor. She had slipped and- Andreim's first foot glued to the floor whilst his second foot came up behind it at too high a speed. It crashed into the back of the other foot, causing him to fall forwards, tumbling and without grace he fell straight over Lise with a softer thump than she had done.

Oof. Hm? He found himself on a soft surface, he reached with his hands to try get up abit and then his face grew red as he realized where he was. He had fallen right over his precious goddess and found himself in a predicament.

Then the scene began to fade.

Andreim

Andreim nodded in agreement to Lise. "Yes, so your dorm it is." He turned away from Lise for a moment and then the realization hit him. Her dorm. Her dorm?! I am going with her to her dorm?! Damn. I can't back out now and besides she needs someone to escort her there. Why must she be so insufferably attractive. Taking a brief moment he collected himself and looked back to Lise, she had stopped in her tracks. What now?

She's.. too cute for my own good. "Lead the way, Andreim!"

He could imagine his cheeks getting red but he swallowed and tried his best to shake it off. "Leave it to me, Lady Valois-Saint-Remy!" Despite her knowing the way to her dorm. She had left it to me to safely escort her to the place. Like a proper gentleman taking a lady to a dance.

Wait? Hold on. What if she was using her cunning and cute looks to try find out if I know where her dorm is? Damn it's a trap! If I show that I know where her dorm is she might think me an even bigger pervert, but If I show her I do not know where it is she will be disappointed and I will show my incababilites of memorizing such an important location! What should I do?

Gathering his thoughts he decided to take the risk and began to lead the way towards Lise's dorm room. It was not a surprise that he knew where it was. He had paid extra attention to anything regarding Lise. Even to who she considered friends. That's why Cyan had gotten the evil eye. That guy better watch his step. Foxes were cunning and carnivores, he wouldn't lower his guard around him for a moment.

Andreim led Lise along the streets and made sure to wait for her where need was and to offer his arm would she had wanted something to lean on. It was quite the long walk, royalty like herself would surely not be used to go by foot. After some time had passed they finally arrived on the grounds, where Andreim led Lise to her dorm room.

"Well then.. here we are Lady Valois-Saint-Remy. At your surely spendid dorm room. Not that I have seen it but I- I'd imagine a young lady of your standing must have quite the room."

Stop talking already! You are getting yourself into trouble and you are underdressed! Chose the next few words very carefully. A deep breath and...

"After you, milady." Andreim offered a bow to Lise. So much for that...

Vittorio

More people. More interference. Why must they all get in his way?

He quickly used his incorporeal form and flew through the barrier projected by Michael and got up near Gilliam. Vittorio swung his tentacle like wings towards the place where he expected Alto to be in before he threw a glance to Gilliam. One of gratitude but also of severity. At these odds they would both be destroyed and Alto would get away. They would have to postpone the fight for later.

"Withdraw to the higher levels and help the others. I'll take things to another level..." He gathered some of his energy and one of his missing tentacle wings began to manifest again, what he did next was to aim all of his tentacles at himself pressing them closely together. He gave a displeased look to the others present. "You should never have come here! Leave now!"

Then finally he took a leap forwards towards where Alto was and fired all his energy beams in a big beam, centered at himself causing his own form to disentigrate and he hoped that Alto would be caught in the blast aswell.

Moments later...

Darkness.

A blurred vision. That of a dark and grey room with a soft beeping sound. A life monitoring system. He was back in his physical form. Bed ridden and the light from one of the devices which was monitoring him was too bright for his eyes. Vittorio swallowed and felt as if he had swallowed a razor, it was painful but nothing new. He began to feel something warm falling down his lip. Blood.

His nose had begun to bleed. He shakingly moved his hand over and then looked at his blurred bony hand and then reached for a tissue to his left which he wiped the blood off with.

"Shit..." He said in a raspy voice before softly coughing. Did I get him? No.. probably not. How long will it take before I can join with you all? How long will I lie here in the dark. When will my dying day come? He allowed his hand to fall to his side at the bed and he had a slight smirk form on his dry lips. "I will not fail... again." He tightened his hand into a fist.

Galbrek

He had gotten into a taxi, which Adam had managed to wave over. "Perfect. I'll need you to dri-"
A sound of something loud popping. "What now?!" Galbrek said and pointed to Adam to inspect it as he got out of the taxi alongside with the driver.

"Tch... screw this useless vehicle!" Galbrek slammed the door behind him and waved Adam to follow him.

"We'll take something else.."

His eyes searched for any other vehicle. With a near psychotic look on his face he found a mailboy with a bike, covered slightly by a big truck. A grin crawled up his face and he moved over to the boy who was leaning forwards putting in some newspapers while still sitting on the bike which had a big wooden section in front of it to carry mail on.

"I saw this in a game once. And I hate getting commersial papers in my mail..."

Galbrek grabbed hold of the collars of the mailboy and tossed him off the bike before taking out a bundle of bills which he threw in the boy's face. "Take this and get your slithering mortal face out of my sight." Adam was feeling awkward having just witnessed his master throw off a boy from his delivery bike. "Master, this is going to take abit longer time and going to be quite physically straining."

Galbrek kicked off the mail in the front of the bike and sat down in its stead. "That's why you will do all the pedaling, Adam." Galbrek said in an annoyed tone of voice.

Adam sighed and got on the bike and began to pedal behind the neatly placed truck. "Deliver me to my destination like an urgent letter. Your life counts on it." He didn't need much in order to convince Adam the severity of his words and motivate him on his effort.

"I will see if I can get us a better ride. It has it's uses to have strong wires that can attach to things, don't you think so, Adam?"

Meanwhile...

"They are eating. They are fucking eating." Bertrand said while watching from a somewhat safe distance with his two companions, Darla and Celine.

Darla looked at her stomach. "I wish I could eat..." To which Celine answered. "Try to keep focused. If we fail we will be punished greatly. The girl with the blue hair is the main priority. If she gets away we have to get the fox girl instead and hope it will be enough to please our master."

Bertrand and Darla nodded in agreement. "Seriously, how much food can that guy eat? And talk at the same time. Sheesh."

"Focus" Celine reminded him.

"Right right, once the fighting part is over we'll overpower them. Should be enough if one of us get away with the target and the other two will keep the rest occupied."
Bertrand, Darla and Celine relocated themselves to make sure they did not lose sight of Andras.

"If we have to split up. You'll grab her and take her to the place, Celine."

"You don't have to tell me." Celine shrugged abit and readied herself.

"Whoa. That dude just kissed the other dude." Bertrand said in some combination of surprise and shock. Darla watched with a soft red hue on her face. "Can you kiss me, Celine?" Darla looked to Celine.

"What? No. Ofcourse not. And stay focused." Celine shook her head.
Alberich

He rested his sword on his shoulder after his attack had finished. It was utterly unappeasing to approach the thing up close so why not leave it in the knight's own hands to get herself killed. Taking the time to ponder on who else could have gotten into the world. There was the knight, the idiot mothman who had gotten disposed of. The useless girl who came with them but didn't do anything to assist. Though he couldn't blame her for that.

If you are weak then there is no use getting yourself killed. Then there was the other group with the crazies. The hovering psycho and the crazied berserk chibi girl. Then that arrogant girl with the flaming sword. Also that other person who the chibi was talking to through some device. So a total of eight? That was highly disappointing as none of them were a promising ally. Either they were completely unreasonable, crazy or focused on doing 'good'.

Maybe there was someone still out there who could be worthy to ally with while he was here. Someone with actual brains or at least someone who could obey simple commands.

I guess I just have to bide my time until something worth my time comes along. The armorclad god warrior thought to himself.

Emilio

"Eh? That's quite the impressive thing... Heh heh."

Their opponent fought similar to that of Wong. He knew this type of fighting quite well indeed. The voice of Tenshi caught his attention and he gave her an a slightly sinister grin as he charged back some of his lost energy for just a brief moment.

"Hurry up and die already!" Emilio put his hands together and shot a ray of light into the octagonal prism he had placed before, which in turn created multiple rays of light themselves in eight different directions, carving through some of the enemy projectiles, giving some openings here and there for himself or others to get through.

Two of the rays however went directly towards Yukari, the second ray following just right behind the first one. As soon as he had fired the ray into the prism he had taken flight himself, straight towards Yukari following the rays which travelled at a higher velocity
Andreim

The air outdoors was fresh and would have been chilling to most standing about in their undergarments. Thankfully Andreim knew how to regulate his own heat and even project a small amount of it to Lise. He hated to think she would be feeling cold. He kept looking down at her face and body as he carried her. His hands felt abit shaky, yet steady. Hard to put it. It was as if he was carrying the most holy of things in the world, a gift bestowed from the skies above. He could feel her heart beating, or was it his own?

Andreim was so captivated that he could not discern if it was his or her heart. Perhaps it was both? She was likely strained after the ordeal in the building, having a high heartbeat was not uncommon for such a thing for certain. His own heart however wanted to burst out through his own chest.

None has ever wounded me as much as you have. You have taken my heart of ice and melt it into steam and now I am about to evaporate.

He was however aware that Katherine, Cassius and Samoth was still in there somewhere. They had failed to get to Katherine in time and that damn bastard Rurik and his cronies are going to pay dearly for this. Not only for what injuries Katherine or any of the others may have obtained or those inflicted on himself.

But to embarass and put Lise in harms way was unforgivable. Andreim gritted his teeth. I am going to beat him into a pulp later so not even his girlfriend will be able to provide enough ice to lessen his head trauma. He looked up from Lise and towards the star ridden sky above, before turning his sight back to Lise who was now looking at him.

The soothing and angelic voice of Lise caused him to swallow deeply. "You can let me down now!"

Without further wait, Andreim carefully let Lise down. "Y-yes! I mean, yes Lady Valois-Saint-Remy."
He looked her over as she stood there clad in his pants while he was abit underdressed himself and the realization coming to him that he was being indecent before the young lady.

Crap! She's going to think me a pervert! But... but... if it means making sure she is not embarassed. I must be one. He did a soft sigh and then turned around briefly, looking up at the sky again then over his shoulder, without thinking he mumbled. "Of all the stars in the universe, it's the one down here which has me circle around it."
He realized he was thinking out loud and grabbed his mouth with one of his hands and looked over to Lise to make certain of if she heard him or not. If she did she would find out about his feelings for her.

"W-we should get you dressed in better clothes." He beckoned to Lise to follow him.

Vittorio

"The gods gave me the power to do the work you cannot do, you would-be-protector! These wings on my back are not a dream!"

The barrier had caught Vittorio's attention. Alexander and Michael were now both getting in the way of justice. This was unforunate and something which annoyed him. His ally, the tentacle monster had however been able to provide him with good support. He wanted to go for Alto, but with these other two men standing they would keep interupting him. So he had to take care of them first and leave Alto briefly in the hands of his ally.

The officer had fired off some odd shots from his weaponry, Vittorio had avoided a few of the shots whilst some connected with his tentacle like wings, either from him trying to deflect them or by them just hitting them. He began to notice how the wings hit began to wither in form.

Some forms of magical inflicted acid was eating away at them was what he could tell, thus he used two of his tentacles to slice of the two affected ones. Dropping them to the floor where they vanished with a low wheezing sound. Narrowing his ghostly eyes he turned them to Alexander. The officer was still coming for him and Vittorio didn't have the time to play with him or Michael. Thus both had to be taken out of the equation. He moved towards Alexander to meet him in his charge, with less tentacles than before.

Using his superior reach, Vittorio used one of his tentacles to attempt to grab Alexander around his left ankle, before trying to throw him directly towards Michael who was suffering from his ally's acid attack. Hoping that he could knock them both out or at least prone.
To give him just enough time to get to Alto. His remaining three tentacles who were still operational were at the defensive, ready to lash out against incoming attacks or block where need was. But at this rate he had to limit the amount of attacks towards him, as he would surely not have enough time to recover his missing wings or his form falling apart.

"You failed to protect the fallen! Redeem yourself in the eyes of the gods! Kill Alto! You cannot save me, as much as you cannot save the boy you brought along with you to this place! His pain is on your bloodstained hands! See the consequences of your actions!"

"Stop all the fighting! Stop all the dodging! Stop standing in my way!"

Galbrek

Bertrand had lowered his guard for a moment, he wasn't intending on stopping them now. Not with all these people about, it would be too risky and they were many. But then the same guy who had attacked his master decided to attack Celine. It caused him to flare up again and caused Darla to look even more nervous, Celine had been prepared for Vernon but she wasn't sure if her barrier would have held against his attack. Luckily someone else had stepped in to intervene. Celine nor any of the others had seen this person before.

For now she was safe however and seeing things cool down abit, Darla and Bertrand lowered their combat stances aswell and moved over towards Galbrek whom had begun to move.

"Tch..." He said in a low barely hearable voice as he slammed his elbow into the side of Adam. Who happened to be helping him stand up.

"We are going... I'm fine." Galbrek said with obvious irritation in his voice, and Adam would have flinched and held unto the spot he got elbowed in. Galbrek looked to Celine, Betrand and Darla who were now pretty close to him before he whispered to them. "You three... make sure they don't leave this place anytime soon. If possible capture Andras and bring her to hideout charlie."
The half-demon gave Adam a slight snarl and then dismissed the other three. The half-demon and his tall puppet had turned their back towards the rest of the gathering and made their way towards the nearest exit.

"Damn... guess we have to think of something." Bertrand said in a hushed tone and looked towards Andras who was leaving with William. Before he began to stride after them, followed by Darla and finally by Celine who bowed her head in gratitude towards Aegus.

"Bertrand? You'll protect me right?" Darla asked Bertrand while they were walking, following Andras and William. "I was really scared back there..."
"You'd bet I do! We only gotta do what we've been tasked with. We should be okay." Bertrand snapped his fingers over his shoulder with a grin. He had regarded Darla much like a little sister ever since they came to be.

Galbrek and Adam had found themselves near one of the exits, making sure to keeping to themselves. Galbrek said in a strained and annoyed voice. "If... if they are going to get in my plans. I am going to get in theirs. We are going to visit our dear ghostly friend." The half-demon gave a wide grin which Adam could recognize as a truly bad sign, that Galbrek was planning something truly sinister. "Yes, master. I will get us a taxi/carriage." Adam began to lead Galbrek out the building and held out an arm to call a taxi/carriage.

"But what about the girls?" Adam couldn't help but ask. "I will get them after having aqquired my new puppet, which shall deal with this William boy and his wretched servant. Perhaps leave him paralyzed. Forever."

At this rate. Master Galbrek will be greatly saddened. You guys better bring back one of them for him or I will have to do it myself. As the foremost of his servants. Adam thought to himself.
Galbrek

These meddling mortals. I don't really have the time to waste on inferior forms of life in this matter. This mundane fool is threatening -me- of all people. This halfwitted puppet seems to belong to this William. Their liking for oneanother is a thing I can exploit. I will exploit it. Whose Alex anyways? No matter. I send someone to gather the intel I need. Perhaps Yuuto would do nicely.

Galbrek gave an arrogant eyebrow to Vernon as he leaned forwards. "Do not get conceit-" He stopped mid-sentence before toppling backwards on unsteady legs and getting grabbed by Adam.

"Master!" His tall doll grabbed him preventing him from falling. "What did you do to him? Do you have any idea of what you've done?" Adam was agitated but also visually worried, a face of terror and dread spreading. Darla would have dropped the icecream cake to the floor on seeing what was happening to Galbrek. Her mouth opened. "Why?" She raised both her hands uncertainly towards Vernon as she stepped inbetween Vernon and Galbrek. "Ey!" She ignited both her hands in a dark blueish purple energy and kept a fierce but also cute glare at Vernon.

On the other side of the gathering was the remaining two dolls. Bertrand and Celine. "Damn.. something is wrong. Something has happened to the master." Bertrand said in an annoyed voice.

"So? Do you care for him really?" Celine asked.

"Not in that sense. But what will he do to us if we did nothing?" Bertrand gave Celine a unpleased look with gritted teeth, then he stepped up behind the group at a distance with a ball of energy between his both hands.

"You better stop that! We would hate having to hurt you!" He assumed a pose he thought was cool, with Celine standing beside him with an overly serious face.

Vittorio

He had seen the dark tentacles in the corner of his eyes. They posed a threat to him and he would have to step out of his incorporeal form to deal with them, but someone else intervened. A monster whom had been hiding in the dark had now lunged out to deal with this threat. Vittorio was genuinely surprised by this but gave a satisfied smile. He knew this monster most certainly.

"Don't tangle with me, or you'll draw your last breath painter!" He yelled out towards Michael in clear annoyance. "You are partly the reason why I am even here, officer. You! Like the others failed to do justice! This is divine providence from the grave! Want someone to blame?! Blame yourself!"

The officer had stood in the other end of the room talking about things. Vittorio caught hold of some of it as his battle with Alto began. Alto was fast. But faster than even Vittorio could have expected, he attacked with such speed that he wondered what it was that flew through him. He had tossed his sword right through him? Crafty of his enemy. But this is just the trickery he should expect from someone who hides in the light.

"This will be the day of reckoning for everyone! Your existance cannot be forgiven! Someone like you should disappear forever! Altoooo!" Vittorio's tentacles spread widely as he exited his incorporeal state, meaning he would be vulnerable to damage now.

His previous manifestations had vanished, but now were replaced with his dear Charlotte being killed by the monster. The moment forever frozen in time in his memory. He aimed one of his tentacle energy beams before him on the ground to provide some dust to fly up, and at the same time he shot four of his other ones at the ceiling right above where Alto, Alexander and Michael stood. Seeking to have the ceiling bury them all in rubble. Vittorio reserved his last tentacle for defense if they somehow would get through to him. His astral form looked tense and almost flared up in energy. Clearly indicating he was putting everything he had into this fight.

Give me power. Everyone... let this be my story's ending.

This was the moment he had trained for. Everything he had thought of for two years. With a few differences. He would have wanted to fight Alto all alone but it could not be helped. He did have some assistance now at least to nullify his. He channeled his love for the dead to finally be able to bring an end to it all.

Andreim

So many thing had happened in just a few brief moments, but he had little time to dwell and ponder on them right now. After all, she needed him. Lady Liselotte needed him. The sole reason for him even being here fighting for St.Laurel's. She who had flipped his world upside down and was more and more seizing his core for her own.

Feeling her soft hand on his arm. The mere touch sending shivers down his entire body but in a good way. She was so composed and regal even in this situation, he couldn't help but feel admiration for her. Her eyes were however gazing to the ground, she was likely very weary and with that single command. "Andreim... Please get me out of here." Followed with her enchanting eyes meeting his. Two of her servants, the shadow maids also had appeared by Lise to provide her cover as she was still undressed.

Andreim took a deep gulp and then leaned down to help Lise take on the pants, trying his best to not embarass her further, letting her legs slide into the pants before pulling them up to her waist where he would attach the belt. Would she let him that is.

"Let us go then, my Lady Valois-Saint-Remy. I shall carry your majesty to safety." He tried to pick her up into a princess carry, looking deeply into her eyes before lifting her off towards one of the exits of the building. Anyone or anything getting in their way now would be annihilated on the spot for sure.

Angels. Demons. Gods. Mortals. Anyone who'd get in my way now is going to vanish among the stars!

This is my destiny. This life of mine... Is to be with her!

Galbrek

His hypnotic gaze on Andras had bounced right off her. What's this? How beautiful... a barrier. She is more well equipped than I first thought.

"Just wanted your attention so that we may talk buisness after this ordeal is over. I can detect a magical talent like yours from far away. A beautiful rare gem."

Galbrek blinked. What was going on? What did he just tell her? Had she some defenses he had not seen before? I did not need to tell her this. Have I underestimated her? He threw another glance at Andras. "Ahh! Not to worry, demoness Andras. I am just an admirer of your craft. But you do seem abit weary after the two fights, some rest could do you well."

Galbrek attempted his hypnotic gaze again. "How about a drink at my place?" He gave a one-toothed smile before turning to William and Vernon "Sadly I am not interested in any offer which would have me end up waiting. I offer what I did because I can and have things to gain. Much like yourself. W-i-l-l-i-a-m. They are however not your buisness."

He toyed with the ruffles on his shirt, decorated by a ivory broché depicting himself in profile. "Much like it is not my buisness what you intend to do with V- this Vittorio." Galbrek pointed to his own face. "Look at me William. Is this the face of a liar?" He stared with his hypnotic gaze towards William.

"Leave demoness Andras in my care for the time being, I shall make sure she'll have something to eat. Do not worry."

He'd had a slight smile form on his lips. "Darla, how about you share that cake with dear William here?" The youngest of the dolls he had made stepped up with the icecream cake and looked to William. "Good to meet you." She said in a soft and somewhat monotone voice.
