Call me Doc. I'm open to just about every form of roleplay at any time, so if you want to have some fun just toss a P.M my way.

I do prefer RM, URM, or low tier fights, with human or peak human hand-to-hand and swords & sandals being my speciality.
Challenge me to a match just any old time!

They only want to argue.

I should really get to posting that character for my fight.

@Hokum

"Safteh protocol on."

-Donny was only in the simulation for an hour and a half. He didn't intend to do anything fancy or technical, and so long as he did his job right, he wouldn't need to. He'd learn the basic functions such as the essential controls, steering, hyper drive, and setting coordinates. He retired to his room afterwards, and in there he remained for several hours. He'd leave only to pick up some drinks and food from the cantina before heading back for another half day. By the end of it all, his eyes were red rimmed and heavy. He'd searched everything he could on the Grand Minister, the public information about each ship in the fleet, and any other resources available that'd tell him about the Quatis history and their known technological advances. Afterwards he'd sleep. The next afternoon he'd be practicing with the transect, teleporting from ship to ship quickly, his fingers memorizing the patterns needed to quickly tap out a destination. Mobility was an aspect of warfare he intended to not neglect.-
@Hokum

-Donny took the transect and strapped it to his left wrist just above the other. Having two couldn't hurt. He ignored the cigar, and just nodded to the robot.-

"Sure, sure. Do kindleh take meh to the 18th floor. Ah'll not need long."

-He'd begin exploring the interface of his new transect, again looking for an internet. He was no longer interested in learning more about Dino. He already knew what he'd do to handle that situation. More pressing was finding out about Pycin. He didn't expect the Grand Minister to keep his word, least of all to a murderous loose-cannon outsider. First and foremost was survival.
Donny could feel it, that pressure. Here he was once more, standing at the edge. Below, thousands of meters into the darkness, lay a carpet of rotting bones. Somewhere there above the precipice was an unseen lifeline, a tightrope to walk. He'd have to sense it with his gut, predict it with his mind more than see it. If he relied on sight alone he may fall. No safety net, only a brisk drop into the cold nether. It wasn't the first time he'd been here. Donny spoke softly to himself, barely whispering.-

>"Well old frahnd... Hello again."<
@Indie Deme

-Charlie wasn't Donny's real name. He didn't risk his identity when he trained in live combat, instead using an alias. Aside from legal difficulties,
Nobody would want to fight if they knew he was the hunter killer who restlessly stalked the underworld. That was no reason for him to hold back though. He never held back. His Way was not gentle. It was Cut or be Cut. As Aries tried to roll into Donny, the hitman sprawled on him, transitioning into snaking his arms about his opponent's midsection from overhead, mid roll, allowing his rear right foot to slide backwards to avoid impact. It'd take the first layer of skin off the bottom of his foot thanks to the abrasive floor. Should he grab Aries, then with his upper lip peeling up into a snarl of effort, he'd straighten his back and lift his opponent up off the ground, left foot firmly planted. Aries would potentially wind up upsidedown, head level with Donny's knees and pointed towards the hard ground. Even if he tried to grab Donny's leg(s) after he was lifted, or protect his head with his arms, the result would scarcely differ. It was a short drop and a sudden stop, Donny falling abruptly to his knees and with the combined weight of his body and his opponent's, would smash Aries's head and neck area into the sandstone. If Aries tried to curl into himself to decrease the damage to his head, Donny would accomodate by leaning further forwards to nullify the effectiveness of the tactic. A piledriver from a Green Beret is often the last piledriver a man may experience. Bones would probably be broken.-
Sounds fun to me.
@Hokum

-Donny straightened up, adjusted his tie, warmth and humanity returning to his features. He'd sigh and glance at the symbot's device. That was probably a common one too, not anything that'd give him greater power than the one he already had. Still, he'd go over and check after blowing the thing's head off with his rifle first.-

"Hmph. Fine. But, Ah need somethin' else from yah, alongside thah ship and Dino's spatial coordinates. Ah need a device that'll take meh to othah ships in a blink and a wink. Restricted areas ain't important, but I must be able to freely traverse between thah fleet and the ship yah gave meh. Do that, and I'll even throw in an advance on killin' yah next political opponent."
@Hokum

-Donny blinked lazily as Pycin mentioned the bomb. His mind grew hollow, distant, no longer emotionally attached to the situation or conversation. He saw things objectively, almost in slow motion as the Grand Minister's mouth silently opened and closed. The room for Donny began darkening, turning monochrome and fading into obscurity, a black void whose only illumination came from the white glow of Pycin's form. A wicked crook of smoke screwed slowly up past Donny's face, the light in the room glinting like the verdant scales of a reptile in his eyes. He moved towards the cigar, reached out... And threw his entire weight into left hook. He put his ass into it, squared his shoulders and let go, the torque of his upper body driving the blow towards Pycin's jaw. It was untelegraphed, out of the blue, executed with no excess motion, no elbow flare or wind up. Clenched in his fist was the zippo to lend his fist some more volume and additional sturdiness, in addition to the weighted lead sewn into his S.A.P glove. He intended to molly-whop Pycin unconscious, give him a few more stiff shots to take the fight out of him, then steal his device and strip him down naked, keep beating him until he couldn't move, only talk. Maybe that alone would break his spirit. Donny took pride in his capacity to not lose control of a situation, to always have another option to take. When again would he be here in this important room with the very instigator of this unacceptable problem sitting so close?
It wasn't worth waiting for another chance. All Donny knew was that he'd have to make this one feel enough regret that they'd instruct him on how to properly disable the explosive. He'd need to check his watch soon and make sure the ordeal didn't last for more than seventy minutes. This one who would hold the tiger by the tail, he may know soon how pain can be an entity in and of itself.-
@Hokum

-Donny removed the pack of cigarettes from his pocket. He shook one out, slipped it into the corner of his mouth, and snapped open his lighter. He took a good, long drag, and exhaled loudly, putting the lighter back into his pocket. He seemed to think things over for several seconds.-

"......Take cayah of mahself?"

-He shook another one loose and held it out for the admiral to take.-

"If Ah wanted tah take care of mahself I'd be a hairdressah, not a headhuntah. Securitah comes from peace of mind, and peace ain't somethin' that the thah wicked get much of. Ya sittin' theyah, watchin' it look easeh. But it's a razah. One slip an' yah get cut and fall intah darkness. Sometimes, it can feel dreamlike in its raw puriteh. A man, standin' in the presence of deyath, can feel the historeh bein' made. The end of anothah story. Such a thing, gives me goosepimples. Ah, but yah a polititian. Aesthetics and thah exploration of thah soul ain't exactleh yah forte. Fahget 'bout what Ah jus' said. What's this Hany's Ribbon, and where in thah ship ah we now? Hang awn, lemme give yah a light. Fah that mattah, wheyah's Dino at as well?"
@Hokum

"Ah'll stand, thank yah. Ah don't drink while Ah'm workin' neithah. Sah tell mah, frahnd. What yah got for mah?"
