You do remember that most of them are kind of dead, right? It'd be hard to interact with a dead person unless you yourself are dead. I'd rather avoid past connections with known characters, since I want Trunks' recruits to be about raw as it could possibly be, but I doubt a previous acquaintance with Yajirobe is gonna break the game so I'd be willing to make an exception with that one.

Also, how recluse are you talking? He'd have to come out of hiding to join Trunks' team at least otherwise the RP might be kind of boring from your point of view.

I need to make one more note about Namekians. Dragon Clan members are extinct. That means no new Dragon Balls for Earth, which means death is very much permanent and therefore something you don't want to make light of... especially given the current apocalyptic state of the world right now.
OK, too many people to answer directly so I'll just address the race questions with bullet points.

1. Majins: I'm afraid Dead Cruiser hit the nail on the head. The Androids wiped out Babidi when he tried to do his thing (since they were still around at the time, hell it could have easily happened while Trunks was in the past). Ergo, Buu is still in hibernation deep under the Earth (*cough*totallynotforshadowinganything*cough*), so there's no plausible way to use the Majin race.

2. Namek: Obviously Namek still exists, well sort of. Remember that vacation Goku took to New Namek where he saved them from Meta Cooler? Unfortunately, since Goku died in this timeline Meta Cooler succeeded in conquering New Namek and the Namekians are now either his slaves or scattered across the galaxy. Naturally, many of the ones who escaped would come to Earth, since it's the only other planet they know of. So yes, some Namekian refugees have started coming to Earth shortly after the Androids were destroyed.

3. Saiyans: This one should be pretty self-explanatory. Trunks is the only person in the galaxy (note that I said "galaxy" and not "universe") with Saiyan blood. There are technically three Saiyans still out there (Paragus, Broly, and Tarble) but I doubt any of them will be playing a role in this RP. That being said, Saiyans will have to be excluded from the list of playable races because, well, they're extinct, plain and simple. The fact that a couple of survivors are floating around in entirely different quadrants of the universe doesn't justify allowing a bunch of previously unknown survivors to start popping up for no reason.

4. Androids/Cyborgs: This one is... allowed, but do remember that Earth has just spent the last 20 or so years getting absolutely buttfucked by a pair of these, so good luck trying to survive the lynch mob that will absolutely no doubt be calling for your head should you go this route.
No idea.
Short answer: Haven't decided, but definitely not that high.

The RP is likely going to start at around 6 months or so after the Androids' defeat. This gives Trunks plenty of time to search the world for the people he will train and get them started on it. It also allows for enough time to pass that word of the Androids' destruction has spread pretty far and rebuilding has started in some places. In other places... not so much. One aspect I plan to implement is that, in the wake of the Androids, law and order simply doesn't exist in some parts of the world thanks to the widespread destruction they caused, resulting in a noticeable rise in bandit gangs raiding city ruins for whatever they can loot. Other places might have been taken over by crime lords or the like who would see this as a golden opportunity to make grabs for power since the governments are still in bad shape.
Well, technically we'd be starting with nothing in terms of notable abilities. After all, Trunks gathered us from the wreckage of the Android attacks and it's very unlikely he'd stumble on anyone with existing power to speak of. Short answer, though, is yes, mystical elements can play a part in this, but you'd have to work just as hard to learn them as you would with Ki.
Remember when Trunks traveled back to his timeline and single-handedly wiped out the Androids as well the Cell of his time? Well, what happened after that?

That's what this RP hopes to delve into. We'd be playing out the aftermath of Trunks' victory, in a world still recovering from the horrors of the Android attacks.

After defeating his long time enemies, Trunks very quickly has another realization. He's not going to live forever. As strong as he has become, he knew age would catch up to him sooner or later. And what then? Would he simply die and leave the Earth without any form of protection against threats? No, without any second thoughts, Trunks decided that he would never let that happen, and so he began a new mission. He began searching all over the world, seeking out any survivors he could find who had even the smallest potential. It would be a long shot, but this was Trunks' only option. He'd take these survivors, misfits from all different walks of life, and attempt to train them, turn into the next Defenders of Earth.

Of course, things are never so simple. Evil is always lurking in the shadows, looming in the distance and just waiting for an opportunity to smash apart what little peace the Earth has left. So answer this question: What will you do about it? Will you succumb to fear and stand aside? Or will you roll up your sleeves, grit your teeth and fight for your planet?
I had originally posted my interest but it doesn't look like I'm gonna be able to stick around. Apologies, but best of luck though.
OK, all done then.

Also had the the thought that maybe Imperialdramon Paladin Mode could give Shin and Veemon some sagely mentor advice at some point after Imperialdramon Fighter Mode first appears, provide some finality on their character arcs and ultimately help them in unlocking UlforceVeedramon.

@tobiax OK so I chose Seat #8, does that make me Digidestined #9?
