@Saarebas Don't pair Tohi off against Wonder woman's Cheetah. Win or loose it would end... poorly. Any enchantress character could probably turn him, even without using their powers. ;)

So what you're saying is Al basically owns him. xD j/k
We're currently at 1 Team.
@Double I didn't see a roll in your post for defending the civvies, so I rolled for you. 5+2+Savior(2) = 9. You save them, but expose yourself to danger or escalate the situation. Also, choose one:
● add a Team to the pool
● take Influence over someone you protect
● clear a condition

I choose to add a Team to the pool.

Also, if he started uppercutting before the teleport, it would probably be even more telegraphed. He would have had to take the time to lower his arm and fist to wind up the hit all before teleporting from his spot. Unless, of course, his teleports are like Nightcrawler in that he's actually slipping in and out of another dimension to travel? Teleportation is otherwise instantaneous and thus makes it pretty much impossible to just do something "mid-teleport".

But like you said, it really doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme of things, especially since I chose not to try and interfere with it.
@Ermine I could have phrased it better, but essentially he didn't see teleport itself coming, but rather the uppercut that came after it. Those tend to be fairly telegraphed, especially to someone who has any amount of Martial Art skills, which Falcon does due to Martial Arts being one of his 3 abilities.
So... would it be out of character if William was the one who came up with Revenant as a name?
We'll have to see how that turns out, since Falcon is now flying up to catch the hostages. I'm guessing that will constitute a Defend move, roll+Savior, right?
This was supposed to be a standard hostage situation, nothing the team couldn't handle. As soon as they arrived, however, it became quickly apparent that this was anything but routine. For one thing, the hostages appeared to be in some kind of mind control. Secondly, the suspects made it abundantly clear that they were really after Argon and nothing else, so it seemed. One of them made the first move, managing to teleport themselves into an uppercut against Argon. It was a move Falcon could see coming easily enough, and one that he would have been able to interrupt or block for Argon, if not for one thing: the hostages. There was just no telling what would happen to them if anyone made the wrong move, and so Falcon chose caution for the time being. Unfortunately, his "brother" evidently didn't see things that way and immediately went on the attack.

"Idiot! You're gonna get someone killed!" Falcon protested, but of course it would fall on deaf ears. Kiante did what he pleased, and once he decided he was going to do something there was no stopping him. Only thing to do now was to deal with the consequences and hope for the best. Kiante's attack appeared to have some effect, but it wasn't enough to stop the suspects entirely. One of them teleported into the air with two hostages and flung them like projectiles, "Not today, scumbag!" Falcon had seen enough, it was time to take action. His first instinct was to take flight directly above the team and save the two hostages Xenon threw. In a perfect world Falcon might have tried to hit Xenon as well, but with two civvies in immediate danger there simply wasn't enough time, and the hostages' safety took priority.
It's still a reckless move. For all he knows the civvies all have bombs strapped to them or something waiting to be remotely detonated as soon as the baddies are put in harm's way. (I'll just preemptively apologize if that comment inspires the GM in any way)
And Kiante said "fuck teamwork" and went Leroy Jenkins. We're gonna lose a lot of team points, aren't we?

Anyway, I don't want to try responding yet because I'm still not entirely sure how this is supposed to work.
So is there a difference between Defend and Take A Powerful Blow? I mean is there is a difference between Max using the latter to take the uppercut or does that move only apply to attacks aimed directly at him?
For some reason I was under the false impression that Chi-Tah was the only one who brought any donuts... and he only brought 4. I don't know how I missed the two boxes that Pascal brought. I'm sorry. Next time I post I'll try to get Al to eat one for desert or something.
