A surprsingly friendly voice cordially informed Raven

Fletching: These friendly Pokémon send signals to one another with beautiful chirps and tail-feather movements.
Piplup: Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people. Its thick down guards it from the cold.

Raven lauged a little at Piplup's Pokedex entry. "Aw come on, accepting food from people isn't that bad." It seemed awfully pointed at the moment but that was alright. Lesiy's request didn't even faze him, "Certainly, as the challenger its my duty to accept your stipulations! Plus your Pokemon are kinda cute. Guess they take after their owner." He said with a confident wink. Oliver looked over the two Pokemon it would be facing and a smirk briefly passed over his face, as those he was completely confident he could beat a undersized bird and a penguin. Raven was pleased to see Oliver wasn't backing down from the challenge, this meant they could both face it with full force!

Azura Cerulean

Name: Azura Cerulean (Blue, Blue in plainspeak: Guess the theme XD)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Face: Azura has remarkably clear skin and a face that's just in-between cute and beautiful, no features seem to stick out, rather they all just seem to fit together

Hair: Azura had dyed her hair a light blue, it hangs to about her waist in the back and is cut short in the front and to the sides. Azura always takes good care of her hair so it’s very smooth. It is generally in a French braid and when prepared for combat it is tucked under her trenchcoat

Eyes: Azura's eyes are the reason for her name, they are a very intense shade of deep dark blue.
Skin: White, slightly tanned, clear.

Frame: Azura is a little on the short side but her body is rather proportionate.
Height: 5 foot 5 inches
Weight: 54.4 Kgs or about 120 pounds

Personality: Azura is a very energetic person, she's eager to try new thing and make friends. On occasion her enthusiasm can be annoying to those more reclusive and Azura seems to not realize when she's going overboard. She's very sincere in everything she does and believes everyone else to be as well, though this can lead to be her being a little naive. In the event Azura has to fight something or someone seriously it will be as though a switch has been flipped. Her normally vibrant personality will vanish to be replaced with a calm individual with is focused on nothing except combat, almost like an alternate personality, Azura refers to it as going on auto-pilot.

Weapon: Azura uses a black naginata.
Weapon Name: Solitude
Weapon Functions: Solitude only differs from a standard naginata in that the blade can be fired forward with surprising force and speed and retracted by a chain. This is useful for getting an extra bit of range in an attack but Azura can also pull herself to something by retracting the chain given the blade is suitably wedged.

Armor/ Clothing: Azura tends to dress casual in bright colors but practically. Expect shorts or jeans and a colorful shirt. If expecting combat Azura will wear a thick trench coat that provides more protection than one would suspect: along with black legging and metal armguards hidden beneath her coat.
Semblance Name: Asura
Semblance: Azura has a fine amount of control over her aura and her semblance allows her to generate up to four additional 'aura arms' that must be come from some part of her body (EX: can appear from legs, back, fingers) and can't stretch beyond her normal arm's length. These arms have about as much strength as Azura does; the only other notable difference is that they are remarkably sturdy. Azura can also create standard aura weapons for them to wield, but this if more draining then creating the arms. If she lost her own weapon she could also use one of these aura weapons herself, though it would be less effective than using her own weapon.

Strengths: Azura is rather strong, both mentally and physically. Her shortness and happy nature may cause one to find both of these unlikely, but its true, she is remarkably resilient in both respects. Her personality generally allows her to make friends easily and she has no trouble dealing with most people. Azura's semblance gives her a remarkable amount of diversity in combat and with her 'switch on' she had no trouble using it to its fullest extent.

Weaknesses: Azura is a bit naive at times, not understanding when she is being tricked or when someone has bad intentions. Her general exuberance can be exhausting at times and Azura doesn't have much of an off switch. In combat Azura's only real weakness would be a lack of long-range attacks.

Bio: Azura grew up in Vault for most of her life as a single child with only faint memories of her father, who died as a Hunter defending Vault during its creation. Her mother had a civilian job but made sure to educate Azura in how to be a hunter so she could follower her father's footsteps, as she always wanted to. Surprisingly growing up with only a mother seemed to have little poor effect on Azura, she was always sociable, ready to apply herself, and overall a good kid. She of course always wanted to be a hunter to honor her dad so it's unsurprising that she ended up at Lustre Academy.

Dawkin nodded, pleased by Martin's quick thinking. "Well done Martin." Magby down, now the only threat that remained was Natu. Not to say this was over, from what he could tell Ellyn was a sound strategist herself, he'd do well to not underestimate her. Still, it was nearly a 3 on 1 at this point. This had been fun and even challenging for a bit, but the battle was over for them, sooner or later. He was pleased his first battle had gone so in his favor, if Dawkin was superstitious he would've believed to start off so well was a good omen. But he wasn't. "Good job Aron, approach Natu! Abigail we can take it from here, simply fire a watergun if it tries to escape. Martin let's begin boxing Natu in, if it attacks one of us we can both retailiate, if it doesn't we'll get close enough it can't dodge or escape." Confident that this would the end of things Dawkin looked at Ellyn and grinned confidently, "I think we all know how this ends, why don't you save everyone some trouble and give up?" He said boldly. It was true that Dawkin was perhaps being overly confident, ignoring Hoppip and believing in his victory before it arrived, but he was a naturally confident person and he had no reason to believe otherwise.

@Balthazar007 Yo Bal, was brushing up on the battling system and what not, so. How do we determine our Pokemon's intial level? Status moves appear to not be a thing until later but level is somewhat relevant for combat purposes. Also would it be alright if the two combatants decide to simply RP out the battle rather than stat it up? Obviously the stats system would be used if the two people can't come to an agreement on how the battle would progress but I think it might be easier for less 'do or die' folks to simply work out how the battle would go with their partner.

Raven shrugged, a little confused at Leisy's sudden concern, "Sure, but I get yours too." He said with a friendly smile, excited to be getting into a battle. In fact he hadn't considered scanning her Pokemon but it was actually a good idea. Raven took out his Pokedex and scanned her Pokemon, taking a few steps back as he did so. "Alright Oliver, first battle, you ready to fight for your food!?" Raven asked/shouted to hype them both up. Oliver jumped down and landed in front of Raven, staring at the bag of food hungrily. Both Raven and Oliver were clearly ready to begin. Oh this was gonna be fun. Raven didn't know if Leisy planned on using both her Pokemon but since he had been the one that issued the challenge he was fine with it. He had a feeling Oliver would be a pretty tough bugger when it came down to a fight, especially over food. That and he wasn't overly worried about losing, it was no big deal either way, it would just be better to win.

Raven came around a corner and three things happened. One, his stomach rumbled. Two, he smelled delicious food. Three, his eyes locked on Leisy on her bag of food. He ground to a halt and stared for a moment. A few seconds of calculation and he came up with an idea. Ravne quickly strode up infront of Lesiy and said boldly, "Heya there, I meet the black cat again. Whad'ya say we have a Pokemon battle. If I win you give me that bag of food. If you win, uh, you can ask me for 1 favor. Deal?" Raven asked, sticking a hand out for a shake. It was implusive but Raven had never really been the sort to think things through. Could he have just bought some food? Yes. But this was different! He could have a Pokemon battle, possibly get food, and be better friends with Lesiy! At least that's how trainer battles were supposed to work, or so he'd heard. Oliver was also staring intently at the bag of food, equally interested.
