I'm not victim blaming but all generalizations are false, even this one.

Nah I don't mind, Matt'll be a bit disappointed but that's aight, character and all that.
"By returning my Tyrant Dragon to my hand, I can destroy all spell and trap cards on the field, including your field and pendulumn zones!"

If I'm not wrong, which I likely am, pendulumn zones aren't actually on the field. At least according to a YGOpro duel where I used Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend and the pendulum cards weren't destroyed. Idk though, you can probably just ignore it.
"First I'll play pot of greed! I'm sure you know what this does as it allows me to draw two cards!"

Matt Ronwell

Matt was amused by the small reaper blocking the attack from the massively stronger monster and drew his next card, nodding as though he was unsurprised by it. "I'll summon another Sasuke Samurai #4 to the field." A replica of the small spear-wielding warrior appeared on the field next to his comrade. Now I'll enter the battle phase, Sasuke Samurai #4 #1 attack, I call heads!"[/color] Once again the simulated coin flew through the air and landed on heads, calling the for the death of spirit reapers, the first samurai's spear gleaming with murderous intent that shattered the reaper. "And Sasuke Samurai #4 #2 will attack directly." The second spear-wielder hurriedly made his way to his opponent stabbing him in the knee before retreating with a satisfied look about him, high-fiving his friend. "With one more set card it returns to you, any startling turnaround's planned? Oh and while your brick was aimed at me someone else took it away or else I would've sent it back to sender." Matt said calmly, with a hint of laughter.

Dawkin Trustram

@PlatinumSkink

Dawkin let out a noise of begrudging respect at seeing the fire trainer's creative response to the situation. "Atlas, use Whooper as a shield against their attacks. Whooper, fire a water-gun at the Growlithe: Atlas, attack at the same time with Mud Slap!" The combined assault should hurt whatever it hit, whether it be the Ducklett getting in the way or the trainer and his Growlith. Whooper should be able to take any attacks that came its way with ease, allowing his two Pokemon to barrage the enemy with ranged attacks until they were forced away. "I'm trying to figure out if you two are smarter or more stupid than the average Bonny and Clyde, but either way you're not going to take me out that easily!" Dawkin announced confidently. His strategy should work, if not he'd bail and have to inform the professor about the dragon poaching these guys were planning, she'd know what to do about it. But that was a last resort, he planned to take care of things here and now! Taking down two criminals planning on poaching Pokemon would be a fantastic achievement at such an early point in his journey.
I find it amusing that the two characters most affected reacted in almost exactly opposite fashions, one shutting down and blocking everything out, the other letting her emotions run freely and lashing out at everything. ^.^
So it seems as though Anna could be the one with the ship, lounging around in taverns, Abigail hires her both for the extra hand for the already mostly established crew and for the use of the ship?
Remember just balance like DOTA does, if everyone is OP, no one is.
Lancer

Interacting with @Grey@Turboshitter

Lancer nodded in response to the extended instructions, unable to resist a wild grin coming his face. He got to fight already? He'd expected this to be some sort of cordial meeting between masters but this was much better. He hoped it would be a good one. Lancer waited eagerly for Sos to give him the signal, which was probably him rather impressively destroying the window. Well, for a human anyway. Lancer's tensed body sprung into action, he propelled himself forward at impressive speed through the wall, his eyes immediately locking onto the scrawny oriental boy with glasses and brown hair, luckily there were not multiple scrawny oriental boys with glasses and brown hair, but Lancer felt as though he could've picked this one out regardless.

Lancer's spear glimmered briefly with red light, as though reflecting his eagerness for battle. However judging by the reactions of those in the room this was indeed not to be a hostile encounter and the light faded with this realization. What a disappointment, ah well, he'd really been expecting too much with his kind of luck. At least there were two shapely ladies there, "Lancer at your service, not to worry, I won't be assaulting any ladies unless they ask for it." Lancer said with a dashing wink aimed somehow at both the ladies in question, flourishing his spear before resting it across his shoulders lazily and leaned back against the wall he'd come through. "I assume the scrawny oriental boy with glasses and brown hair, apparently also known as Mr. Mizushima, does not need protecting." Lancer asked, though he was pretty sure of the answer. Which meant food, with a lady no less, though lady might not be the most accurate term for the women in bed Lancer decided to use it anyway.
