Happy to have you aboard Second Mate Uru! And Skipper Fet!
I also drug all my characters to the fight because I wanted to make @RomanAria react to the same scene as many times as possible. -evil laughter-
@Ellion

Honestly, I think I'm out. I just couldn't keep up/get back on track after two weeks away a while back. Sorry.

I mean, I've been gone for two months and am still mostly clueless. I am using this as a ....fresh start? A semi reset to recenter the hunters. But if you really want out, can I kill you character in a something of ...something?
in collaboration with @Meiyuki

"Medusa! I'm baaaaaack!"

"It is biting me!"

"Well, trying not holding it near it's head,"

"It is a circle, it is literally all head!"

Two voices could be heard just outside the library a moment before Ang tossed open the door, leading a very distraught Taran. Who was busy wrestling with what looked like a ball of flame.

"Taran, dear, better keep it away from those books if you want to keep your head," called Ang's sing song voice. "Medusa dear?" she called in. "Are you here?"

Medusa promptly stood and made her way towards the pair. Her face bore a stern frown that didn't quite reach her eyes. She'd figured Ang had left as whimsically as she'd arrived, just gone in the night. She was pleased to see her back, and Taran in tow, but they'd have to talk about warnings and things like that.

"Lovely to have you back," She said, somewhat bitter. "Taran too, of course."

She examined the ball of fire that Taran was struggling with. "Well, isn't this a queer creature. Is this what called you away?"

"Didn't...you....know?" said Taran, holding the creature to his chest as it screeched. He glanced over at Ang. "You told me that she order it," his voice broke a little as the creature bit into his figure.

"What I said was, 'Medusa will probably appreciate you coming with me' and then I told you to come. It is different," She then turned away from the boy, facing her lover. Reaching out to take her hand. "Did you miss me m'love?"

Medusa thought about rejecting Ang's hand, but that would spite her just as much as her crazy lover. She sighed, a small smile finally gracing her lips. "Perhaps I'd miss you if you'd told me you'd be back. Instead I've been angry at you for leaving in the middle of the night."

She kissed Ang's cheek. "It is good to have you back though."

After the brief warmth she returned her attention to Taran and his ward. "Well, I certainly do appreciate you making yourself useful, yes. However, I didn't order this. I'll count it as you taking initiative, instead of being decieved by a crazy witch. Looks much better that way, don't you think?" She smirked.

"Nothing personal love, it was urgent and unavoidable, but I dreamed of you ever night," There was a purr in her voice.

"Loudly, very loudly she dreamed of you every night, can I go now? What do I do with this?" Taran's face was already starting to color as the memory of the things that came out of Ang's mouth flashed through his head.

"Just stand there, the adults are talking," she snapped, before turning back to her lover.

Medusa rolled her eyes, laughing. "Well, you two have missed alot."

She sighed. "Let's see. Lorelai and I have found an uneasy peace, I've agreed to cede leadership of the coven to her during wartime, and she's promised not to kill me, or try to, until the larger threat is dealt with."

Ang jerked her hand back. "What? Why? Now we have to put it back," she grumbled glancing at Taran, who looked nothing less than totally relieved. "But, why would you choose to make such a deal?"

"Because we really do have better enemies than each other, and part of me still hopes to repair our relationship." Medusa shuddererd. "And she's done something to herself... she's not even remotely human anymore. I'm going to need to know more about that before I aim to face her again, should the time come."

"Right! As an example of our better enemies. Your pet escaped, through a staggering series of blunders, and has informed the hunters of Seren's Folley as to our location." Medusa groaned. "So we'll have plenty of things for your... fire thing to do."

"It isn't my fire thing, it is our fire thing," she whipsered taking a step closer to her. "Does she still have those tiny humans following her around?" Everyone still has weaknesses. Or they should. "Also, what pet are you speaking of? I can always kill it,"

"Abby and Lotte? Yes, I believe she's adopted them." Medusa wasn't sure to be pleased or horrified at Ang's implication. All's fair in love and war right? "Matrim, I believe was the name of the pet in question. I would very much love for him to die, but I fear the damage is done."

"I am sure she loves them to the moon and back," blanket statment.
"Taran, why don't you run along with our little fire ball while mummy and mummy talk about grown up stuff. Just drop the fire ball in a bowl of water, that should keep it cooled off enough for now,"

That was all the dismissal that Taran needed before slinking off into some other corner of the castle.

"Darling boy love, perhaps we should invite him to our bed once," she smiled petting the womans hair softly. "We must also plan our hunting games, you think?"

"Perhaps, although I doubt his sensibilities match ours, dear." Medusa laughed.

"I agree entirely, there's a great deal of killing to be done." Medusa took Ang's lips this time. "I can't imagine a better partner to enjoy it with."

"He would be fun to watch squirm," Ang was silenced with the kiss. "You taste just as I rememeber," she whispered softly. "When we catch my little pet, shall we keep him forever or kill him ever so slow?"

"I think death is too kind for the trouble he's cost us." Medusa began leading Ang to her bedchambers. Planning was important, but there was an itch that hadn't been scratched in nearly a month. It needed attended to, and promptly. "I say we compose wondrous choruses of his screams, and dance gayly to them."

"So many parts to play with and break, so many screams," she said, following her love into the room. "Speaking of screams, I can think of a few I want to hear from you,"

Hello hunters!

I am doing something big and I need to know who is in or out. Lemme know by Sunday funday!
How is everyone this fine summers....day-night-something
It only took a month. But I did it :3

Rya Mira

"Wife/SisterBride" of Aeila Snowblood@NarcissisticPotato and Azilon Dantanath @WeepingLiberty and current stalker of Lugft Huron @agentmanatee Husband to Aerienna Cassiel @RomanAria and Atallia Faeron @NarcissisticPotato and @darkwolf687 might belong somewhere in here too, I don’t even know at this point.

Rya listened to Scoot, enough so that she was able to respond with actual words and questions, rather than the hmms and ahs of someone only half listening. But her questions stayed boring and basic as the rest of her mind whirled around trying to comprehend the past few hours of her life.

“What do I feel about all this….” She said, an audible breath of air escaping as she thought over her answer. “I don’t know if you ever…. Well, back home we have a game that we play with an empty cow stomach. We would kill some of the cows for meat. And we didn’t really use the stomachs for food… When the stomachs are still kinda of wet, you can fill them up with air. They don’t float, but they fall to the ground a lot slower than other objects. Anyway, my siblings and I would play a silly game, we didn’t even give it a name, but the point was to keep batting the stomach up into the air, to keep it from touch the ground. When it did touch the ground it would usually explode. That’s how I feel,”

She paused, before realizing that her answer probably didn’t make much sense. “What I mean is… I’m trying to keep myself from thinking about it through any means necessary. I mean, like, if can keep myself in the air, not thinking too deeply about the problem and …denying it…then I am alright. Everything is fine and I am okay. I know I can’t do it forever, I’ve already lost it once and that is how I messed up my hand. But… I don’t know what else to do, but allowing myself to be destructive and angry doesn’t seem like a very good idea,” She paused for a second, swallowing back another response. “I and don’t want to cry either. Maybe we should head back to eat now,” her voice was shorter than it had been even a moment before and she moved a little bit faster.

“So, you seem to know Azlion fairly well. I mean…you are around him a lot…what can I expect...do you think being his bride? Also, if he didn’t want brides, then why did he even come here, surely not for the social scene if last night was any example,” As she spoke, her word started to come out faster and faster.

When Scoot had finished answering her bombardment of questions, Rya opened her mouth to ask more when a scream went across the room. On the far side of the room, a Drakken lord seemed to be distracted by an emotional Gem. She missed most of what was said, but the just seemed to be that one Gem was trying to escape and the other one had told on her. A warm and painful feeling started to spread inside her stomach. It was anger mostly, anger at the Gem who told, then one who seemed to want to be a good little pet. Not only was she so willing to degrade herself, but she was actively stopping another Gem from making her break for freedom. For home.

That lead into the other emotion she was feeling. Pity and fear. Fear for what the fate of the other Gem might be. If caught, this Gem would be hurt or worse. Probably worse.

And then, in the smallest corner of her emotional range was a little bit of hope. Because if this Gem was able to escape her Master Husband, then that would make it possible for the rest of them.

”We can get back to the rooms this way, right?” said Rya, pointing in the same direction that Lugft went, before following quickly without waiting for a proper response.

Exon
Husband of Nadia (@Vesuvius00) Saisri (@RomanAria)

Exon awoke before the sun. Which wasn’t that unusual, his work often called him away in the early hours of the day. Even on his off days, he wasn’t one to lay around in bed after waking up, there was too much to do in the day to waste time like that. But, as he looked down at his new sleeping wife, he couldn’t quite bring himself to pull away.

Although Saisri was sleeping, she had still put as much distance between herself and him as Exon would allow. Saisri had made it clear with her change of behavior that she disagreed with his treatment of Nadia last night. There was a part of him that agreed, only because Nadia was new to this world. But Exon also knew that he would do his new wives no favors by shielding them from the reality of their new lives. They would be different, that wasn’t the same as unpleasant. Not if they didn’t make them that way.

After watching his sleeping wife a few more minutes, Exon finally rose and got himself ready for the days travel. ”Awake, my wives,” he said, once his own belongs were packed away. “We will leave right after breakfast, I suggest you eat a lot, the trip will be hard and you will need your energy, oh, and little one,” said Exon, looking at Nadia. “Please don’t forget your punishment,” with that he took a seat by the now dead fire, waiting to take his wives down for food.

That never happened.

Once his wives were dressed a loud commotion came from the hallway as an angry Drakkon made a fuss about a runaway wife or something. An idea sparked in Exon’s head. If his wives found him so unjust, perhaps he should give them a chance to see what they really had to fear.

“Come,” he ordered to both of them, taking Saisri by the arm and pushing Nadia to walk just in front of him. “There is something I think you both should see,”

I suck. Tomorrow for sure!
Kay, I am finally working on a post. But I am also very jet lagged. So it'll either be very interesting to read or posted tomorrow
