Of course that doesn't work, @ZayZe. you don't need tags to enforce default setting. That is also why that line doesn't have any tags marked up.
With the players joining our advanced RP, we care about what they write and what they achieve with it, not how long they write. Sometimes, a post can be nigh-essay length, other times it can just be the two-three decent paragraphs. We don't even worry about how much of the setting lore they know before joining, so long as they are willing to learn and don't have trouble looking things up and/or asking questions.

So long as the grammar isn't atrocious, we generally won't point out problems with that IC, unless the player has made it clear (s)he wants such errors pointed out for the sake of self-improvement.

We personally tend to be strict on players' sheets so we can relax more when they get approved for writing IC. We've barely had any IC posts that needed to be rewritten using that system, and we've got a lot of players.

Advanced isn't so fearsome a beast as many seem to think. So like @Angel Vicky said, jump in the deep end, @BeanieBaggie. Advanced might bite a little, but those teeth are all freshly brushed, so the bite won't be septic, nor will any limbs be bitten off.

That can happen to anyone, @Vesuvius00. No worries.

@Ruby We believe there is a plan in place to make a "0th post" system, which would by default be visible on all pages of each appropriate tab (with the option to disable that if wished). This post is then meant to be editable both by GM and co-GM(s).

Concerning the gassing of the prison area:

Anyways, following a bit of discussion on IRC, its been determined that the gas knocks people unconscious for 127 minutes.
Since the gassing happened at 08:49, that means the prisoners and sith in the prison at this time will wake up again at 10:56 GST.

Anyone with powers like Breath control could resist the gas for a minute or two, but being a custom-made highly invasive gas, it isn't enough to pinch your nose and hold your breath. The longer you try to resist, the more likely you'll have some (temporary) unfortunate side effects after waking back up. Feel free to be creative about what those are (within reason).

~| Kaggath, Starboard prison bunk room |~

It hadn’t taken Lea more than a few minutes to get back up to the prison bunk room, after all, the turbolift doors were still open and when aided by the Force, it was no trouble to jump up to the prison level. No trouble at all. She had to think a bit on what the Sith had told her. Once back up, she sat down on one of the upper bunks, crossing her legs. She ferreted out the filched lightsaber, thinking about what the Sith had told her about it. It was increasingly clear to her than the Sith knew exactly what she had done, but had chosen not to tell. Unusual, but not implausible.

Before she could think more on that, she heard a click and a hiss from above. She sucked in a quick breath, remaining conscious long enough to see the thick, white smoke flow everywhere in the prison. Holding her breath and keeping her nose pinched shut firmly, she managed to resist its effects long enough to tuck the filched lightsaber in between the frame and mattress of the neighboring bed, then retreating to her own. Had she been able to close her ears and tear ducts, she might’ve resisted longer, but of course she could not. The gas, whatever it was made of, was far too pervasive. It found ways into her body despite her Force-induced control over her own breath. No doubt some creation of Darth Nyiss.

At first it only made her sluggish. Her thoughts grew muddled. She thought about whom she could get to adjust the lightsaber, but names had already begun to escape her and like everyone else in the prison already had, she slipped into unconsciousness.
That's what we get for not looking up details on Kel Dor...

@Themerlinhawk
Which finger was cut off? Most sources we could find, defined the 4th finger as the ring finger, which would not truly make sense to be cut off, as that one has other fingers surrounding it which apparently weren't cut off. Did you mean that finger or the pinky?

perhaps, but it would be a sneaky way to get a good feature like polls.

We personally like both the idea of polls and of getting community input on ordering of popular features. We've been trying for ages to get more of the community to pipe in on what features they want most down in the features section, and its not really had any effect yet.
