Dogwelder: Do I need to elaborate?
B'wana Beast is one bad day away from being Dogwelder. Also, not the most fleshed out character in the world, would be interesting to see where you take that beyond crazy guy who welds dogs to people.

If you're changing Beast Boy into a mutant then virtually any Teen Titan could possibly work. Though you might wanna stay away from the more popular characters (Starfire, for example) because chances sooner or later other person may come along and apply for them.

That'd definitely make for a different team dynamic - in your mind is this the sole Xavier team or is there an X-Men proper running around as well? Interesting that you've gone for a heroic Magneto. Also, what's Wanda up to?

I've always thought Black Lightning would be a good fit. Beyond that, if you want to go the Doom Patrol route Beast Boy's probably your safest bet. Other than that, I don't know. Maybe Karma? Depends how big you'd want the group to be, or whether you were just trying to pad the school out with DC metas.
