*Is slammed into the ground despite blocking it with my hands*
You're gonna hurt your friends with a weapon that big.

*The special properties of the lightning wither the blade away as the hammer lands directly, due to me blocking Data's blow*

No.

Your arsenal never ends, does it?
Made another animation.

*Lowers my arms and stares at you, almost as if staring through you*

*Claps my hands, sending out the lightning in your direction in a horizontal arc, consuming the nanobots and striking you as well*

*Strikes the tip of the blades with lightning to dull them*

Right, but I meant the RP that Drake was referring to. If it were this one, I wouldn't be here.
I've played in enough balls to the walls RPs like that to have a very strong hatred for them.
Well I meant it's more like those RPs in the sense that the players don't know how to write. They just throw out one action event after the other with no moments for pause or development.
That sounds like Fandom and Discord RPs to me.
It was a rather bad time for rping i guess
It was way to common that people end up joining an rp, see an interesting one and just vanish without saying a word causing a lot of rps to die
Annoying as that was it was also normal that
The gm posts a bit of plot, they just respond to the given info and add nothing, it was basically reacting in character to the gm's story
So when i came with my attempt to use one of the styles i started with, which had a focus on all parties adding to the story and being active
They started calling me lazy and more (but if you ask me, being unable to add to the story and jusy follow everything on a whim like that is lazy haha)
Its a pretry huge step down from how i started
The gm thinks of a arc inside a bigger world, set the start up, plays a minor role and tries to guide the story into the right direction
While at the same time each and every other player had their own agenda, plot wish and ended up adding way more chaos (sudden monster attack or the way we were supposed to enter as given by the gm, well one player came with the idea that a fuel tank got hit and the entire tunnel was exploding, having to run back and find a new way in)
It was always a challenge to get your own plot back in while working on the main story focus
But it was fun, everyone together made such a great story
Having everyone working together on one big story to be called lazy and bad GM...
