Alexandros

@Silent Observer@Fetzen

Alex watched with interest as the sharp crystalline structure on top of Harald's emerged from the water before the rest of him, quite a lot like a shark's fin. Idly, he wondered if that ever lead to difficulties for him that Alex did not have, like getting through doorways. Alex floated on his back enjoying the cool water's feel upon his tanned skin mixing with the pleasant warmth from sun above them, his fingers still drummed silently underneath his head. Harald swam towards him, apparently whatever he had been doing under the water now complete, and asked for more details about him. Alex nodded his head easily turning so he was now straight up, his muscles legs moving slightly in order to keep his head above the water.

"Sure I am new as well! I haven't even checked in at the main office yet. He turned his head and let out a bark of laughter. From the waters edge he could see the faint forms of the easily recognizable Sulleykaar speaking to what he assumed were three other students. He was a bit too far out to see many details, but it seemed they were all getting along extremely well! The girls seemed be sharing an embrace, before one of them ran out towards the water apparently to join them. Alex yelled out a hello towards the red head girl who had entered the water than turned back towards Harald. "So tell me about yourself. What is it like to be a splice?"

All looking fun- I will try and post up in the next few hours during my work breaks!
@Ojo chan 42 Nah not dead just slowed down immensely. The issue was for quite some time there everybody was "ready to fight" but no one actually did anything lol. Not a ton of material to work off of so pace slowed a lot I think as soon as this fight is done we will get back to our earlier breakneck posting speed. Apparently we just don't have a ton of "initiative taking" characters lol
@T Risket that sounds fine to me - to destroy it though do you have to salt and burn the body?
Leval Lamrue

@DragonKingUk@The One

Leval looked over at Sekhemi's draconic form as he flew up towards him attempting to convince Leval to work together with him. In any other circumstance, Leval would have treated Sekhemi with a large among of distrust given the events of their first meeting, but under the influence of Rika's angelic form, Leval trusted him with no reservation. He aimed all of his illusions toward Kreia. The first thing that was done was to reinforce the darkness Sekhemi had caused, hopefully increasing its chances of successfully working against the teacher. With the flaming eyes given to him by Sekhemi to pierce the veil of darkness he layered illusory darkness in a globe around Kreia so if Sekhemi's veil was pierced all she would find under it would be more darkness. The he layered it again and again, it was simply the most effective counter for a counter spell of some sort. Hopefully at the least it would buy them a small bit of time to strike before Kreia could react.

Kuro shouted in what sounded like a pirate accent for some reason beyond Leval's comprehension and he suddenly felt hands touching his shoulders and back. Behind him, in their trademark cloaks with their hoods up all proudly bearing the symbol of his family. The Lamrue family had appeared behind him to support him. He felt their love and support flow into him granting him more strength and helping him deal with the now massive flood of information that was flooding into his brain as all of their knowledge and experience was combined. The flame that Sekhemi had given him to see through his darkness flicked in color becoming a violet in color as all of the power granted through him. Threads spread out from his body across the floor in every direction crossing each other like a complex root system before rising into the air. They fluttered slightly like a field of seaweed on the ocean floor.

"We will fight." His voice sounded deeper than usual as though a chorus of other voices spoke just behind him in unison. He made the imp like creatures that Sekhemi invisible as well, the flowing threads spread throughout the room easily sending out his illusions. Any other strikes that were sent at Kreia appeared to divert slightly in their path coming at Kreia in different directions, while the true attacks like Kong's still flew at her invisible and silent, their power concealed under his illusions. The threads of magic spread throughout the room were everywhere making it extremely difficult to sense any of his individual illusions from the sheer amount around them. Leval himself slammed his staff into the ground three times and directly under where Kreia was three illusory spikes rose from underneath her, anyone hit by them would suffer no actual damage but would feel the sensation of being impaled. Leval hoped they would strike but focused mainly on later in more illusory darkness around her, attempting to counter any counter spells with the sheer number of independent illusions, the threads around the room allowing him to cast much faster than he usually could
@DragonKingUk I am going to be posting up in the next two hours or so
I will post some interest as well
@T Risket@Diggerton

Kat tilted her head in mild interest as Lancer watched the bag of tea leaves as though at any moment the bag would come to life and attack him with supernatural ferocity and hatred. While she was still uncertain of many things in the supernatural world, she had to wonder if the sheer amount of rather excessive hate directed towards the simple offering would somehow imbue it with the very qualities that Lancer seemed to proclaim it had with simply a stare. Some type of supernatural self fulfilling prophecy? If any look could have actually done it, it would have been the one that Lancer leveled against her tea. At that moment, Eddie spoke up and she took advantage of Lancer's distraction to stow the teabag back inside of her laptop bag.

"Good find Kat... I hope it's alright if I call you Kat instead of 'Ms. Shepard', it may be our first day on the job, but I hope we can all get along."

Kat nodded easily at him, giving him a brief smile. "Kat is absolutely fine. Much preferable to Miss isn't it? We will be spending quite a bit of time together it seems and it would have just gotten irritating after a while in any case."

Eddie then seemed to attempt to protect her in some regard, or perhaps he was simply thinking of the team's unity as a whole, or perhaps even thinking of how best to present himself to Mr. Orion. Kat hoped it was not the first thought that had crossed into her mind. She did not need or want any unnecessary protection, it simply made her uncomfortable and she had been doing rather well holding her side of the conversation. She did not particular sense any malice or ill will coming from Lancer, he was simply an ass, or as she had so often heard her American roommates a 'total dick.' Kat did not see any reason why they couldn't get along regardless. In any case, this seemed only to continue Lancer's tea based vitriol, now redirected at Eddie. He let out a fairly acidic verbal jab at Eddie than began rummaging around the bags and stowing several items away in his pockets. Kat thought briefly about doing the same, yet she knew very little beyond conjecture what it was that she was supposed to do with these items. It would most likely be more beneficial to leave it to those who would know more about what to use these for. Lancer obviously knew what it was he was looking for and what he wanted, perhaps he was already extremely familiar on the supernatural?

After he had grabbed the items he had wanted. He continued his tirade against Eddie after Eddie had commented about questioning Mrs Smith, in an admittedly rather awkward way, but certainly not in one that deserved this amount of scorn. Then Lancer did a very strange thing, in the admittedly long list of strange things from her perspective. He made the comment about chaperoning the trip to the library and then looked at her almost as though to see if she was watching. The expression on his face spoke almost of a challenge though still there was general disdain for Eddie and the world around him. He turned back away from her and continued talking. Kat thought about this rather strange action for a moment. With that glance, he had become less of a general ass in her mind and something more akin to a verbal sportsmen looking for a worthy opponent. While Eddie was friendly with him, he seemed to have become only more and more hostile towards him. Lancer seemed to be a strange man looking for someone to challenge him, as for why she simply could not say. With that thought in mind, she thought on what to do next. If she continued her current policy of challenging him- it was possible that he may tone down somewhat having found a suitable opponent, however it was also possible that she was mistaken and he would only get worse. However the situation as it was obviously needed to be resolved, or at least patched while their employer was present.

When he was done talking, Kat looked towards and gave him a deliberately slow blink. For every movement on a game board there was a counter move, if she commented on not needing a chaperon on her excursions, he would be able to start himself up again and come after her. Instead she choose to simply ignore the comment, blinking at him only to let him know that whatever game it was that Lancer might be playing, she knew how to play as well. Instead of replying to his comments she asked, "And in a case such as this one, what is the 'more direct approach?'
@The One Oh I had no idea! Please take all the time you need- I would be much the same if something had happened to my sister!
