Gender: Pointless Question. All Wrens are biologically female. It is the Finch that are the Males.
Build: All Songbirds must be as the namesake. Light. Airy. But strong in muscle where it matters most. This Wren is no different. This Wren is of a modest height with no discernible body fat, save the region of the hips and bust. This is deemed acceptable as it is potentially beneficial for matters of the Songbirds as it relates to their Feed. This Wren is somewhat noticeable in the upper region in this matter but not to the point where it stands out. This is deemed acceptable. This Wren is in prime condition and barring any incidents This Wren should continue to perform to the standards of those in the Rookery.
Eyes: Irrelevant. Songbirds are not bound by the limitations of genetics. This Wren once had brown eyes. This Wren can have blue eyes if This Wren so chooses.
Hair: Irrelevant. Songbirds are not bound by the limitations of genetics. This Wren once had blonde hair. This Wren can have black hair if This Wren so chooses. Curiously, This Wren prefers a short style commonly referred to as a 'bob'. This Wren realizes that sticking to one style is counter-productive.
Skin Tone: A Songbird cannot change their skin. A Wren cannot be a Finch any more than a Black Crow can become a White Dove. This Wren is of a fair skin, not pale as the Dove nor black as the Crow. This Wren is slightly tanned, but not to the extremes of the exotic.
Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: A Songbird has but one blemish. A sign of the Pact. When a Songbird finds their Voice it is known but hidden away. This Wren has the Pact on her tongue. This Wren has found her Voice.
Day To Day Attire: This Wren is fond of leathers, in the footwear and the bodice variety. When not leaving the nest, This Wren often sports a casual leather ensemble, with brown leather boots trailing to the knees or just above the ankles depending on mood while leggings stretch and bend with the familiar sound of cured leather announces a presence. There is nothing regal or noble about This Wren's attire; it is of the common class for reasons of comfort and familiarity. This Wren does not believe in accessories save for a bangle of bronze situated on the left wrist.

The manner of a Songbird's preferences matters only when it involves those outside the Rookery. This Wren has involved those outside the Rookery.
Relationship Status: This Wren has learned the hard way what happens when relations interfere with duty. This Wren must continue to learn. This Wren had relations with the Guildmaster's Second. This Wren drove the blade into the Second's heart.
Personality: This Wren has shown signs of regret, uncommon in one who has attained such a prestigious rank; no amount of lesson seems to shake this habit from This Wren. It is allowed, for the moment, as perhaps the wistful feeling can be used effectively elsewhere. Whether or not This Wren truly regrets finding her Voice is something only This Wren can determine, however it is not uncommon for This Wren to be found isolated from the other Songbirds in favor of sitting atop the Rookery and gazing longingly towards the streets below and the skies above. This would normally be an issue, but This Wren has shown no signs of questioning a Note. When given a Note, This Wren performs above and beyond and without question or fail. It is allowed, then, for This Wren to continue her flights of fancy and whimsy.
This Wren has a Voice but has no voice and has thus taken to expressing herself in other ways, namely in physical gestures, often exaggerated to the point of parody or satire it seems. This Wren was once caught leaving a bundle of azalea petals in the bedchambers of a scullery maid and when asked why This Wren merely crooked both her hands near her chest in a crude symbol of the heart. None had the hear to inform This Wren that the maid tossed the petals out with the rest of the trash. This Wren toes the line dangerously close to deviancy and is watched accordingly. It is believed that This Wren wants want no Songbird is allowed. This Wren found her Voice.
Habits: This Wren has a tendency to whistle; it is not always annoying. This Wren has an odd manner of sitting, where one foot is bent and the other is stretched in front of her.
Hobbies: This Wren enjoys literature; it is believed that it brings This Wren comfort where words no longer can be spoken. This Wren enjoys climbing, or rather sitting atop high points; how This Wren climbs skirts dangerously close to an abuse of her Voice. This Wren has enjoyed the preparation of sugared goods.
Fears: This Wren cannot swim as This Wren fears the waters. This Wren fears not rejection but the consequences of acceptance. This Wren wishes for love but cannot have it, as death follows.
Likes: This Wren has been known to enjoy literature, tavern dancing, gardening, preparation of meals, watching the sun rise and set in equal amounts, and lyrical composition.

- Assassination (Master): This Wren would not be a Wren if the skill was lesser. Few Wrens have performed as well as This Wren. There has never been a Note failed. This Wren is patient and calm, striking at the right moment and making sure to cover the escape. Even when gifted with the Voice, many Songbirds believe that power to be infallible. This Wren knows better.
- Small Blade Knowledge (Expert): This Wren prefers daggers, dirks, and small blades when performing duties; it gives the Notes a personal touch where many Songbirds prefer the indirect or the sloppy. This Wren works best not in a duel but in striking from the flank, from the blind, from where they least expect.
- Cooking (Expert): This Wren first took up cooking as a means of wooing another but soon enough became not just a hobby but a necessary skillset for the duties.
- Arcane Prowess (Master): This Wren has found her Voice and uses it to sing her songs beautifully. This Wren will speak of her Voice elsewhere.
- Animal Husbandry (Apprentice): This Wren does not get along well with animals and has not yet mastered the art of saddling or riding a mount. This Wren believes she has no need to do so, however.
- Speech (Novice): This Wren has no voice. This Wren understands words but cannot speak them back, however This Wren seems to be trying once more, even if it means losing her Voice.

The Voice Every Songbird has found their Voice and This Wren is no exception. The Voice of a Songbird is bestowed to them by forces unknown but who is believed to be a diety. Gods have a place in the world of Verradon, so too must there be a God of Death. The Voice grants abilities that are magical in nature in a world where magic does not truly exist. Only Songbirds are given this gift and the songs they use with their Voice varies. Even now there are more songs that could potentially be sung by This Wren. This Wren has sung the following songs with her Voice.
- The Minuet: This Wren's most commonly sung song. It allows This Wren to move swiftly and suddenly. Leaping onto rooftops from the ground or quickly flashing across a gap or from hiding spot to hiding spot, this song is how This Wren hides and travels and stalks prey. The Voice does not make one a liar, however, and thus This Wren cannot sing her Minuet to carry her through physical objects. A clear path must be given but the range is quite large all the same.
- The Oratorio: This Wren uses this song when hiding is needed. It does not truly change This Wren's appearance, it merely offers a mask. The people see only what they want to see and behind the mask of a lady in waiting or an apprentice is This Wren. The Oratorio is an illusion that masks the identity and is used initially when scouting an area. The illusion tends to fade and fail when people are in a panic as such this song cannot be sung if This Wren has blundered.
- The Toccata: This Wren uses this song when stalking. Footsteps are the loudest song people sing, but when those steps are silent then all is righted. Though the footsteps are quieted, This Wren cannot sing away paranoia and suspicion so if a stalked target turns, it falls to This Wren to hide herself swiftly or risk being detected.
- The Aria: This Wren sings this song to throw a trail, or rather her Voice. Distractions create openings for escape or moments of opportunity to remove witnesses from the equation. When the path needs to be cleared be it for entrance or exit, This Wren will sing this song.
- Wren's Talons: All Songbirds are granted tools to complete their tasks, and This Wren is no exception to that. This Wren's tools are a twin pair of blades, one a sharp dagger used for the slitting of necks and the other a sharp short-sword used for the stabbing of hearts. This Wren travels nowhere without her Talons.
Parents: This Wren has forgotten.
Siblings: This Wren does not recall.
Childhood: This Wren was not always a Wren. In the thirteen lost years This Wren must have had a normal life. This Wren cannot recall; Songbirds are lost until they have found their Voice.
Adulthood: This Wren found her Voice first as a Babbler, the lowest of Songbirds, those who have found their Voice but have not truly
found it. A Babbler is barely a Songbird and it was not long before This Wren advanced further along. This Wren found a use for her Voice and began to impress the Three: Sparrow, Dove and Crow. This Wren was given her first note when she was just a White-Eye and the performance was above satisfactory. It was a great honor when This Wren was given the title of Wren; Wren is a rare rank and only bestowed upon those Songbirds who truly have mastered their Voice. Wren's and Finch's are tasked frequently with Notes that influence the land of Verradon and as such only the most noted Songbirds can achieve such a title. This Wren is young but able, with a track record to show for it. Though some of This Wren's personal foibles are up for debate, there have been fewer Wren's as consistent and lethal as This Wren.
This Wren has her Voice.
Special Moments: This Wren still remembers the face on the Guildmaster's Second when the Talon struck true. The look of sorrow. The look of regret. The look of love. It was only later that This Wren realized it was like looking into a mirror. The Second's final words are still more beautiful than any song This Wren has known.
Current Events: This Wren was given a Note. A member of the Merchant's Guild was marked for death, perhaps by some rival, and This Wren was tasked with fulfilling it. The last thing This Wren remembers was the color of blood staining the merchant's wares and the shouts of his wife as This Wren was discovered.
Climate: Verradon is a small land where in the center lies the capital and to the east and west of the capital lie the continents of Zadaa to the east and Vikar to the west. The Rookery is not located on any map. Zadaa is a harsh continent, with a hardy people used to weather that is fiercely sweltering in the summer months and frigid in the winter season. Vikar is a wet continent with frequent storms of rain and lightning. The capital has a more consistent climate, with the spring season lasting longer than summer and winter. The heat doesn't reach the extreme of Zadaa and the rain doesn't reach the extreme of Vikar.
Ruling(s): Zadaa and Vikar are technically sovereign nations with their own cities and towns but all decisions that impact Verradon are made in the capital which was founded by Zadaan and Vikaran citizens in order to end the pointless resource war that once plagued the land. Zadaa and Vikar are so named because those are the capital cities of those continents but The Capital is just that. There is no monarchy, instead the ruler of The Capital is known as the Guildmaster, so named because of how every major industry is part of a Guild. Guildmasters choose a Second from a Guild other than their own to ensure that one Guild does not hold power indefinitely.
It is a deeply flawed system but it has allowed for the advancement of economy and trade which is a silver lining all things considered.
Notes: The Songbirds are assassins who believe they are being given missives from a higher power that compels them to kill. They are not a legally sanctioned organization but function similar to a Guild in that they are given orders, known as Notes, and carry them out. The Three guide the Songbirds, train them, meld them, and turn them into their agents. The Voice is an unexplained reality; not even the Three truly know why they have been granted these abilities nor do Songbirds question. They have been given a gift and a duty to maintain a sort of order in secret. Songbirds are not allowed to leave the order and any who flee are killed. Songbirds have been behind many conflicts and their resolutions over the years and it's rumor that the Songbirds are the true rulers that and when a Guildmaster or influential person is found dead it's because of them not wanting to play by the Songbird's rules any longer.
The Rookery and its citizens are shrouded in mystery, its Songbirds stripped of identity, and people curious enough about the Songbirds find themselves silenced one way or another.
