@Nytefall I see that you made a short response in the hero collab which is great, but I'm not sure if you saw the end of Joseph's dialogue or if you saw it and just haven't fully responded. You'll need to explain the situation to him, even if it's as simple as "Hydro went about explaining Racehli, GeneCo, etc." however you want to handle it is fine so long as he is made aware.

@GamerXZ If you still planned on being involved, once Hydro explains to Joseph the situation, your character could then overhear and jump in. If that's no longer what you want to do, please say so as quickly as possible so we aren't needlessly waiting for a reply.

@Fallenreaper It's Sunday and we'll try to push through this collab if at all possible, and I understand if you have to go ahead and move things along, but how do you plan to go about that so that, should the hero collab need to include whatever new information you provide, we'll already be prepared to give a response.
Not sure what's planned for the sort of overreaching arc of Season 2, but it would be interesting to see some Civil War type legal repercussions after the whole string of nation wide crises.
Doing some work on the Hero Collab today for Natural Selection. If the others involved have time, today would be good to try and knock out a good portion of it.
Just replied to the Hero collab for Natural Selection. It's finally making some progress.
@jasonwolf Oh I agree it was a good idea lol. I very much enjoy your thought process, it's just funny because that's exactly what you'd expect.
An otaku using ancient arcane secrets to turn himself into a mech. . . Yep sounds about right.

Quick survey: As some of you might have read Jaklo has a Rage Function of some sort, but I never really cleared up what it could do.

Basically he gets a fair bit more powerful when he is pissed off, and I want to hear people's thoughts on balancing it as I'm likely going to use it by the end of the golem fight. The upfront obvious balance points are he's entirely unstable at that point going more off adrenaline and rage than logic. In a sense you could say at the highest end he's going feral. I don't really have a cap on his current increase in abilities (something I'd like to hear from you guys), so I really can't say for certain just how much better he might be. In my head he's outpacing most world renowned athletes. He's probably far more durable at this point too making up for his normal squishiness.

I jsut really feel like I need input for balancing as Jaklo is not meant to be a really op character like Seph or Markiel who are masters of the craft trained since they were kids etc. etc.

Perhaps his lack of true experience lends itself to this sort of power being fatal. Rage allows him to be nearly invincible and increase his base power but at the cost of his physical well-being, the longer he rages the more damage it does to his body.

@Nytefall, @EnterTheHero, @fdeviant, and @Gamerxz:

Reminder, I noticed there's no movement in the collab you all have and feel the need to point something. You have until Sat to move and make progress with the collab, which includes anyone replying to it and making an effort. I don't think fdeviant has to be the one to start it as I know as few of the heroes are recovering so if you see a chance to write something, anything, do it else I'm going to move the plot along. I can't stress enough how much communication and trying to keep this arc moving is important. IF any of you are stuck, talk with each on a pm (which again include me) or something over what to do. That's why the OoC aspects exist.

Speaking of, who are the currently active heroes in the arc? I know people have been leaving a joining here and there.
Wind roared, parting the skies and dispelling the golem’s magic. Where once snow and ice fell, now came a cool mist. The Earth’s thick glaze had been devoured by the hungry beast, snow and ice forming around the failing construct. With each new assault, the golem lost more of its body until the team’s efforts had managed to diminish its size. But with this new form came new complications as a quick, guttural incantation brought to life a row of smaller golems, all charging toward the team with heightened pace.

“Cass know any wards? Now’d be a good time to start using those.” Jaklo called to her as her issued orders to the rest of the team’s members. The group was now surrounded by much smaller golems and the slow but still threatening parent golem.

“I might have a little something up my sleeve,” she called back to him, running to the Pit’s side, avoiding the tiny golems all the while. Cassandra brought her wand up to the black pillar spilling from the Pit’s mouth. With a single motion, a small tendril lept from the column and encircled the huddled group, marking the ground with sigils and pentacles that would act as the boundary for her spell. With another quick motion, the pillar of smoke began to dissipate. Cassandra knocked on the side of the cauldron while incanting:

”Spark of Life, Eternal Flame,

Hear now the Hearth Witch’s cry;

Embers Ignite, Dance and take Flight,

Around and About, Along and Throughout.”

The Pit began to pulse with heat once more, a bright flame ascending from the cauldron’s mouth, beating like a muscle. With each bright pulse, a wave of energy flew to the edges of the circle, which was large enough to house all members of the team comfortably with the Pit at its center. The sigils on the ground turned to ash, illuminated and given life by the spark above the Pit. A few stray golems tried to encroach upon the team, but were forced back by the newly erected ward, as well as burned and disfigured by the shield’s fiery properties.

“The little ones shouldn’t be able to make it through,” Cassandra called out to her team as she finished making the barrier, “and it’ll deter the big one long enough for someone to figure out what to do about it."
Sorry for the silence. I'm on a mini holiday and I haven't had time to spend on a post but one is coming. We won't let this die!
