Any annoyance towards the human woman (or any of his companions for that matter) that had been building up within Jub melted back down and he was just left feeling exhausted. "Yeah, I think it best we just set up camp here instead of traipsing through the swamp while we're all tired and upset," he said to Tsak. "Even if you happen across some form of civilisation, it'll probably just be a weird fairy town with weird fairy rules." He paused, suddenly realised who he was talking before adding, "No offense."

Jub glanced up at Aurora as the elven woman offered to help him to his feet - not unlike how she had before the two of them had entered the carnival. With a weak smile, he let her help him to his feet. "Thank you," he said, before taking a moment to dust himself off.

When the human woman spoke again, Jub swerved to face her, only just managing to avoid falling over again. "Well, next time, maybe consider asking the rest of us before you do anything like that," he said. He was attempting to sound stern, but the affect was lessened by the fact he was slurring his words slightly.

Jub had been considering how best to respond to Brutrumukk's request for rest when the human woman stepped forward and spoke the magic words, turning the mirror into a doorway between dimensions. Panic started to surge as he watched the party start to go through the portal. He still wasn't sure if he was willing to go to... wherever this mirror lead, and was about to turn to Brutrumukk and suggest they take this moment to bail...

... only for Brutrumukk to start cursing up a storm before rushing after them, taking his shoulder goblin along with him.

Of course.

During the fall through the portal, Jub found himself tumbling from his perch and ended up falling face-first into the dirt. It took a moment for him to push himself up and wipe the dust from his face. "I'm ooookay..." he said, though due to still be disorientated, he certainly didn't sound okay. He took a moment to survey his surroundings as his brain took a moment to catch up with what he was seeing. "This... is definitely not what I expected. Did anyone else expect a swamp? I didn't expect a swamp." He attempted to take a step forward, only to end up falling over again. "Does... does anyone else's legs feel like they're made of jello? Is that normal?"

Yeah, I did notice that on her character sheet back at the beginning of the campaign. At first I genuinely wondered if she'd lost the same thing, until I read about her backstory with her sister.

Currently looking through spells to see what to give to Jub and happened across Distort Value, and I'm very torn.

On one hand, I don't know how often it will be useful in this particular campaign. On the other hand, the spell is Very Jub(TM), and I'm kicking myself that he didn't have it at level one, considering he's a guy who partially makes his living off selling trash and making people believe it's valuable.

... of course, then I have to remember that Jub cannot keep a secret, which makes the fact he was gonna be an illusionist a little tricky xP
