Just found out veer a video that, apparently, according to Monsters of the Multiverse, all goblinoids were originally fey creatures before Maglubiyet came and conquered them all so...
... Jub and Brutrumukk are currently visiting their ancestral home and they don't even know it xP
Back from my trip, but will wait for the results of Fellwing's roll before posting so I can include them in B) Unless it'd be preferable I made a short post now?
Nah, you don’t have to. Sorry that it’s taking a bit, there’s quite a bit of information I want to convey ^^;
Writing visions for Fellwing is simultaneously very fun but takes a lot of thought and care
As they ducked and weaved their way around the flaming crossbolts flying towards them, the flames that danced upon the bolts seemed familiar to Flicker, yet they could not understand why.
... please tell me this is not the way you introduce Flicker's missing father xD
You sure you want to stop where you have? Considering the amount of crossbolts flying around right now, standing still while out in the open is a dangerous move.
I mean, yeah, but I'm not sure where else I can really move to????
Flicker did eventually return to the group with their food, though they remained quiet and sullen for the rest of the evening. The addition of strangers coming to join their group didn't improve their mood, either, and pointedly avoiding eye contact with both them and Jormund. They were in the process of getting up and making some halfhearted attempt to excuse themselves when the arrows started raining down around them, setting various parts of the environment ablaze, and even sending a guard from the top of the watchtower hurtling down to the ground. Miraculously, he seemed to survive the fall, but needed medical attention immediately.
With the injured man and needing reinforcements against this onslaught, Flicker's goal was clear. "On it," they responded to the Highwayman - the first time the fire genasi had properly addressed them this entire evening - and before anyone could say anything, they went charging towards Paxton, doing their best to dodge the arrows along the way. Once they reached the wounded highwayman and were safely hidden behind the tower, they would inspect him. "Hey, do you think you can stand? I've got a medical kit on me. If I get can you inside the the tower, I can do my best to patch you up."
Flicker takes the Dash action and moves 65 feet towards Paxton and the tower. They then do a running long-jump of 10 feet over Paxton to get behind the tower. Dexterity saving throw = 20 (not natural)
