"Well, like a lot of Semscale dragons, Heliotrope started mentoring a drake, wanted to pass on the art of healing," Rudrick explained. "And, err, Coryn... he's still learning and he, err..." Rudrick makes a face as he tries to figure out the best way to phrase what he's about to say. "He... he tries. He really does."
If that's a bad thing, I have not done that. Toriel is my number one favourite Undertale character that isn't Tsunderplane.

No, it's not bad. Just, it's funny because it wasn't originally intended when I made Fogdance, but at some point while writing a post about her, I realised the similarities, and considering how much I like Undertale, there was probably some subconscious inspiration going on there. So hearing you say that is kinda funny.
Dragon Toriel

I feel called out.
Garrock gave Skobeloff a mildly scathing look, clearly picking up that the drake was messing with him. However, that look vanished when Stargaze asked, much more sincerely, about Garrock's connection to the newcomer. He was about to open his mouth to explain when Shieldwing spoke up.

"You...are brothers or something, aren't you?" the red drake asked.

"Or something, yes," Garrock responded. There was a hint of bitterness in his voice as he spoke, though who exactly it was directed towards was unclear.

Rudrick, for his part, didn't seem to notice, and instead turned to the group with a big smile. "Hullo, nice to meet you all," he said. "I'm Rudrick from House Semscale. I'm one of Garrock's siblings." He gave the group a somewhat conspiratorial wink. "Let me guess, he's probably never mentioned me, has he?"

"Surprisingly, Rudrick, we've had more important things to discuss," Garrock responded, once again motioning to the unconscious Maug on his back.

"Yes, I thought I heard something about you going off on some sort of mission," Rudrick said. "How are you? Everything okay?" Before Garrock could even open his mouth to answer, Rudrick continued. "You know, we actually have a healer here at Snouthold. Well, technically we have two. Maybe more like one and a half?" He shook his head before continuing. "If your friend there needs help, they could take a look at them." He glanced over at the other dragons. "Or any of you, if anyone has any injuries. Heliotrope is pretty good at what she does."

Aaand that's a 4.

@XxFellsingxX! Quick! Use the help action!

If Haruki allows me to, sure thing.
Alright, as a newcomer to this system, I hope I used those questions properly, because I wasn't sure what second question Shieldwing would ask in the moment. Was not expecting to roll so high on that one. xD

It's cool, that works.

@Vertigo You have anything you want Fellwing to add here before I post a response?

Btw, happy chinese new year! I normally wouldn't draw attention to this, but it seems poignant considering that is now the Year of the Dragon.
Stargaze: Oh! Is he a friend of yours, Garrock? You guys kinda look alike.
Garrock: Pure coincidence, I've never met this individual in my life.
Rudrick: D:
Epyllion summary for @Digizel
Chapter 1: A Sinking Feeling

- The drakes arrive at Stargaze's home island along with Garrock, searching for whatever is causing the island to slowly sink and what happened to the missing dragons

- Fellwing had a vision about brownies being infected by a strange illness and wants to ask Stargaze's adopted mother, Echo, about it. Skobeloff wants to learn Garrock's secrets so he offers to go explore the abandoned Tessith stronghold by himself to show he's independent. The group splits up.

- Skobeloff gets lost in the forest because a pixie is pulling tricks on him, but Skobeloff turns the tables, is able to get some pixie dust from the pixie and then is able to find the path back to the stronghold

- Fellwing, Stargaze, Shieldwing and Garrock also get lost, and run into the infected brownies. Fellwing uses magic to distract them and they get away. They also meet up with Alpin, a brownie who is not infected, who leads them to Echo's home

- Skobeloff enters the stronghold and meets a Tessith dragon named Fogdance. He can tell almost immediately that she has been corrupted by the Darkness, and that she is trying to feed him a sleeping potion so she can lock him away in a place that is 'safe'. He pretends to eat the sleeping potion and gets lead to a room where two other drakes, Tamba and Pleexem, are being held captive. They explain the situation: apparently, all the members of their party kept going missing until it was only the two of them and Fogdance were left. Fogdance went out looking for the missing dragons, but when she returned, she was super-protective of them and wouldn't let them leave.

- Skobeloff hatches a plan to make it seemed like he overdosed on the sleeping potion to snap Fogdance out of her shadow state. It works, and then asks Fogdance to explain what happened and why she ended up in her shadow state. She tells him her tragic backstory, which involves the loss of most of her first batch of eggs and her having a second batch of eggs with a dragon outside of her affinity clutch, all of which were then seemingly destroyed by a Monster.

- Fellwing, Shieldwing, Stargaze and Alpin enter Echo's home (Garrock has to stay outside), and find she's looking taking care of an injured drake called Kyte. Kyte used to be friends with Stonescale, the drake that bullied Shieldwing and Stargaze, but isn't anymore. Because Kyte's wing is injured, Stargaze uses her magic to heal it. Kyte is grateful.

- Skobeloff uses magic to teleport straight to the rest of the group and explains what happened. They meet up with Garrock again.

- Fellwing uses her powers to try and find where the rest of the missing dragons are, and sees a mysterious dark dragon-like thing in the center of the forest with the missing dragons unconscious. The creature is somehow able to see Fellwing through her vision and it scares her.

- Skobeloff, still wanting to learn Garrock's secrets, says the two of them should head back to the stronghold to meet up with Fogdance, Tamba and Pleexem. Garrock agrees, but not before getting into an argument with Fellwing.

- Skobeloff tries to bond with Garrock. It sort of works, he reveals that he is cousins with Topaz, one of the two dragons currently vying for the position of House Rothscar's head-of-house. Apparently they don't get on. Skobeloff wonders if Garrock's mother might know what happened to the last head-of-house.

- Stargaze, Shieldwing, Alpin, Kyte and Fellwing find the center of the forest, where the missing dragons and the mysterious dragon-like monster are. Stargaze gives an inspiring "the power of friendship" speech, and the creature rage quits, leaving the island.

- Skobeloff and Garrock reunited with the group, along with Fogdance, Tamba, Pleexem and some pixies, but the danger has already passed and Skobeloff is sad because he didn't get to do a cool 'save the day' thing. They then help free the passed out dragons and some pixies who are also unconscious. One of the dragons, Maug, who was the first dragon to go missing, won't wake up. The chapter ends.

Chapter 2: Scar Tissue
- Because the island is stilled somewhat corrupted, Skobeloff wants to do some magic to heal it before they leave. All the dragons and Echo do a magic ritual, which heals everyone on the island corrupted by the Darkness (except for Maug, who is still unconscious).

- Fellwing has a vision of a strange dragon in Northern Yves and a creature known as 'Bicorn' going to meet with an elemental. The visions ends with Bicorn seemingly killing the elemental.

- Echo gives Stargaze a magical stone that will allow her or any of the group to contact her if need be. The group then starts their flight back to the Capitol to tell the Council what happened.

- During the flight, Skobeloff realises that Fogdance, who was the main conduit of the ritual, has now gotten magically older because she has to trade some of her life energy to make the ritual work. He feels guilty.

- The dragons talk on their way back to the Capitol. There is a brief argument about inter-House politics.

- The dragons land on Yves, near to where the Capitol is. There is a stronghold there, where some dragons seem to be doing flight training. As the group is discussing whether or not to take a rest, a dragon come over to them, attempts to glomp Garrock and fails. This is Rudrick, who is very obviously Garrock's sibling.

- That's it, you're now all caught up.
I am also ready to go.
