So after some consideration, I think I will not count items that come from class features against the item limits. This is mostly due to from my experience with those that have expressed interest in this so far typically have not made power gamer like characters. I may amend this decision should someone try to abuse this ruling. Though as I have already said, most people here do not come across as power gamers from my experience, limited as it may be.

Quick question about the item limits: does the limit on magic items include items that would be gained through class features? For example, a Pact of the Tome Warlock's book of shadows?

Flicker took the ring from Jørmund, holding it up for a moment to inspect it before putting it on. They turned their attention back to the rest of the group just as Aura stated she considered the rest of the group family, a statement that made Flicker pause. Considering they'd had a lot of quarrels over their time together, particularly of recent given the prospect of a genie war, they had not expected it. They glanced over at Aura, and were in the process of studying her facial expression for any hints that might have been some kind of joke when Cascade, who they had known for far less time, voiced a similar sentiment, as well as her excitement to introduce the party to her village.

They felt tears starting to form in the corner of their eyes and quickly ducked their head to avoid eye contact with anyone else in the wagon."Err, you guys too," Flicker said, coughing slightly as if to clear their throat.

Hmm, so actually, a quick question that potentially affects the outcome of Fellwing's magic. 2d6+1 gave me an 8, but then I realized I was also supposed to add Fellwing's marked Shadows. She had one before this, and using Shadow Magic makes her mark another-- so would she get +1 or +2 from the marked Shadows? As in, does the mark get added after or before the roll? +1 doesn't affect anything, but +2 does.

Either is fine and my post isn't really affected since it's up to you to describe the effect and all, just wondering!

I'm gonna say, don't add count the shadow you marked after using Shadow Magic in the Shadow Magic roll. But yeah, you get an extra plus 1.
