Physical Appearance:The first thing noticed about Geoff, at least at a difference, is his height. Standing at 6'3" (and possibly still growing) he certainly isn't short. Geoff has a certain broadness to him, and a somewhat solid build from his years of playing rugby and football when he was younger. However his height stretches him out slightly meaning he doesn't look overly build or strong - his muscles are not as noticeable as might want them to be. This isn't particularly helped by his power. However he is definitely not scrawny and looks like he can take a hit or two. And give them back, of course. He is clearly Caucasian, however nothing about him looks particularly Scottish - it's his thick Glaswegian accent that gives that away.
Geoff's face has a rather square look to it; with a solid jaw and well defined edges. There is no sign of facial hair anywhere on it, in fact Geoff is a strangely hairless person apart from that on the top of his head. This hair is dark blond and kept in a short, crew-cut style. Any longer and Geoff finds it annoying and frustrating to deal with. His eyes are a stormy combination of grey and green; certainly not a normal colour combination you would expect in eyes. They are slightly more on the green side and have a slight yellowish tint to them. His eyes are quite odd; they are predominantly made up of the Iris, with very little visible Sclera. They are slightly more rounded than the normal eye, and the pupil is more a slit than a circle. They have similarities with that of a normal snake. His nose is set below and between his eyes, slightly flatter and wider than you would expect considering he is 100% Caucasian (and Scottish at that). It is slightly crooked from being broken one too many times.
His eyes aren't the only odd feature of his appearance. In fact, they are far from it. Geoff's skin is pale like you would expect of someone from Scotland. However its colour is... off. It has a blue-green, and slightly grey, sheen to it. Along with this it is speckled with random, and odd, scales that vary in colour combinations of blue, grey and green. These are thickest running down his back. Along with this, sticking out of his short hair are two similarly scaled horns. These point backwards and aren't particularly sharp in any way. Geoff's ears are also far from normal. They seem to frilled, and more greyish blue-green than the rest of his skin. They stick out to the side and are a predominant feature to his face. Though not noticeable at first glance if Geoff ever smiles it is clear is teeth are fare sharper, and far more dangerous, than a normal human's.
His face isn't the only place his power has manifested. He has what could be described as a frill-like mane running from the top of his neck all the way down his spine. This then follows along a long tail that he seems to have. This tail is covered in scales, like those dotted along his body. It begins with the thickness of his body and tapers off to a thin point, with an almost dolphin like flipper. It is about twice the length of the legs and acts as a kind of fifth limb. It looks a bit out of place; almost as if he should have this 'tail' or his legs but instead has both. Along with this his fingers and toes are slightly webbed.

Due to all the features added to his body Geoff can hardly wear normal clothing; mostly thanks to the tail and the mane. He has to get clothing tailor made to adjust for this, which isn't exactly easy. As a result Geoff is rather limited. Often he will wear loose jeans or shorts on the bottom half. The top half will either be an incredibly baggy top that fits over the mane. He'd prefer to wear clothing like tank tops, but that's not always possible. More often than not, however, he will be found topless wearing just knee length shorts (even if its cold).
Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:At first glance Geoff is your typical rebellious teenage guy. Skipping classes is one of his favourite pastimes, he's more likely to be getting into a fight than studying and drinks far more than he should at his age. Smart but lazy, Geoff is a pretty confident guy. He's almost a bit cocky at points and likes to brag when he wins things.
This isn't to say Geoff is unlikeable. In fact he had plenty of friends when living in Scotland. Aside from getting into fights here and there, mostly due to his stupid mouth, he's actually pretty easy going. He makes an effort to get along with everyone. Of course this doesn't always work. But he doesn't go out of his way to annoy anyone. However, he is a bit idiotic when talking sometimes. He doesn't know when to stop and says things he definitely shouldn't. Though, sometimes this is on purpose. He enjoys teasing and taunting people if his mood is right.
Though easy going and friendly, Geoff isn't someone who gets close to others. While he used to have a large group of friends he was never particularly close to any. He keeps most people at a distance. It's just easier for him that way. He doesn't particularly feel the need to be very close to anyone anyway, he's quite happy with having just normal friends.
Geoff holds a bit of a 'I don't give a shit' attitude. Well, at least, he pretends that he doesn't care about things. He is something of a master of hiding his emotions. He pretends to not care about doing well in school, or about what other people think about him. But actually he strives for perfection, and isn't happy with anything else. He rarely achieves this due to not trying. And other people's opinions to matter to him. He just likes to think they don't.
Though he's an idiot sometimes, and often disregards people's feelings, Geoff isn't a bad guy. He at least tries to get on with everyone. He can be kind, and thoughtful. Not always, though.
Hobbies/Interests:Sport: Geoff enjoys playing and watching sports. However he can't participate in the teams sports he used to love, such as rugby, anymore due to his power he still enjoys to watch matches on the television.
Chess: Something of a contrast to the way Geoff can come across, and the sports he loves, he also really enjoys chess and is quite good at it. Though he is certainly no pro he can beat quite a few people at a game. And quite happily brag about it, too.
Astronomy: Geoff also finds looking at stars, and planets pretty cool. He isn't that great at astronomy and doesn't often get the opportunity considering he doesn't own a telescope. However he really enjoys it when he does.
Science: Geoff has an interest in general science, though especially Physic and Chemistry. This goes further than just the school subject and he is quite happy to read up on it himself. He quite likes performing experiments that cause explosions.
Partying: Contrasting some of his more nerdy hobbies, Geoff loves to go out and party. Like many teenagers he would often go to friend's houses, drinking heavily and playing stupid games. Unfortunately that happens less nowadays.
Skills/Talents: Science: Not only a hobby, Geoff is quite good at the school subject of science and attains good grades with ease. He'll probably go into it as a career if he can. However he tends to slack off in it in school now due to finding it far too easy.
Mathematics: Geoff has a natural talent for Maths, though he rarely uses it. He finds maths insanely boring when not in relation to science. So while he's good at it he never bothers to try.
Physical Exercise / Fighting: Pretty fit, Geoff can do most sports if he puts his mind to it. Though with the whole sea serpent hybrid thing he doesn't do them often. He still works out. With this comes a certain amount of strength, and he can through a punch because of it. He used to get in a lot of school fights so he's good at fighting in that sense. Not trained, though.
Board Games: Geoff seems to been annoyingly good at board games, and often wins them. It's not really a massive talent but it's something he's pleased with being able to do.
Goals/MotivationTo enjoy his teenage years to his fullest, even if he is stuck in the Academy. He also wants to figure out a way to live normally with the whole being part sea serpent thing. But mostly his goal is just to have as much fun as he can.
History/Bio:Geoff was a bit of an, to put it bluntly, accident. His parents, both hard working individuals with little spare time between working and looking after children, had been quite happy with the two daughter that they had. As a result Geoff is seven years younger than his second oldest sister, Ishbel, and nine younger than Kirsty, the oldest.
Geoff was born into a working class family, and lived in a poorer area in Glasgow. Both of his parents worked full time, meaning they didn't have much time for their three children. When they did have time to spend with their children most of it was spent pushing them to do better; to do well at school and go on to a good job. Geoff didn't dislike his parents, but he disliked the restrictions put on him even as a young child. It didn't help that his oldest sister, Kirsty, was absolutely perfect. She had good grades, was incredibly intelligent and planning on going to top universities. Him and Ishbel fell behind in almost everything, though both were smart.
From a young age, almost as soon as he started school, Geoff spent his town out in the streets kicking around a football with his friends. They were all rowdy and sometimes did not so legal things. This was a happy part of his childhood - it was when he went home that he was forced to do extra homework, or help around the house more than he would have liked. This resulted in him developing a dislike for school and growing lazier in regards to it as the years went by.
When he entered senior school, at the age of twelve, Geoff began to participate more in proper team sports at school. He joined the rugby and football team, and excelled in both. This gained him a lot of friends and he was pretty popular. He spent his time more and more disobeying his parents; their entire focus was on him now that Ishbel and Kirsty had both left for university. Geoff tried only in sports, even not bothering in the sciences which he actually enjoyed. It was safe to say his relationship with his parents during his teen years were not the best at all.
Geoff's power didn't manifest until he was sixteen. It began with subtle changes; his skin changing colour slightly, scales beginning to form. Soon his nose had flattened, his ears changed and he had horns. The tail was the final, and most agonising, part to grow. Where he had once been popular he now lost all but the closest friends he had, including his girlfriend of a year. He wasn't allowed to play sports in case he had an unfair advantage. His power pretty much turned his life upside down, and he turned to drinking and partying to forget it.
He was registered with the MISW. However recently his parents soon found out that there was a chance Geoff would be taken away from them by this very organisation. For some reason, still unknown to Geoff, their reaction to this possibility was to send him to live with his sister Ishbel in USA. However, at twenty five Ishbel had no interest in looking after her annoying teen brother. He doesn't know how she did it, but she managed to get him into the Academy Program (so he was no longer her responsibility). So now he's in Academy 61, though he would really rather not.

Abilities

Power: Sea Serpent PhysiologyThe main part of Geoff's power is the fact that he is essentially a sea serpent - human hybrid. This comes with a few features, beyond even just his odd appearance. Geoff is far better at swimming than most other people. The tail he has helps with this. He is unnaturally fast. He can also breath under water though there is no logical explanation for it. This is just something he can do. His teeth are sharp, like that of a sea serpent's, and could quite easily pierce skin. His jaw his quite strong meaning that if he bites someone... It'll hurt. He doesn't make a habit of it, though.
Geoff is really flexible. He can contort his body into all sorts of horrible looking positions. It seems that his body is built a bit different and allows him to do this. His skin is also slightly different even where there aren't scales - it is soft, hairless and water resistant. He is also slightly stronger than normal, but not overly so. His flexibility is the most impressive thing.
Geoff's tail is also one of the biggest parts of his power. It acts as a third leg, in a way. He can move it just as he can any other limb. It is incredibly flexible. It is stronger than his arms and legs, which results in him being a lot faster at swimming than walking. He could, feasibly, put all of his weight on it but he would have a problem balancing.
Full TransformationGeoff can, in fact, transform into a actual
sea serpent. However this is not something that is easy to do. It would take him between a day to a week to fully transform; this happens gradually as his legs and tail merge, he loses his arms and his general body shape grows and changes. It is also a very painful procedure. When a sea serpent he gains all of the benefits you'd expect of someone being a massive, mythological sea beast. As a serpent he is about 30 feet long.
Geoff can only very occasionally turn into a sea serpent. It is not something he has much control over, and it takes a lot of effort to do.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks: Geoff is very prone to getting dried out skin, due to it being adjusted to living underwater. If Geoff doesn't submerge himself in water for about an hour every day his skin begins to get dry, and cracked. This is especially painful around the scales he has on his skin. It also causes him to be faint, and to get headaches.
While amazing underwater, Geoff's tail can sometimes be a bit of a issue on land. It is quite heavy and can be unbalancing. It is also like an extra weight to drag along whenever he is walking anywhere. It gets in the way all of the time; and it is quite an easy target. It is incredibly painful if it is damaged. He has also been known to trip over it, or tangle himself in his tail.
Geoff can get stuck in odd positions that he gets into due to his flexibility. This is hardly a nice thing to happen, and is often really painful. Most of the time he ends up untangling himself though.
The sun isn't great for Geoff. Due to having the physiology of a sea serpent rather than an actual snake, he isn't actually cold blooded and has no reason to be out in the sun. However it dries out his skin faster and helps dehydrate him. This is fine if he is in water when it is sunny.
When an actual serpent Geoff is pretty limited. Due to him growing so much he needs to be in a wide, open space. Now this can't be just any open space. If Geoff is unlucky enough to complete the last stages of transformation on land he is pretty screwed. He has no way to move on land, because he cannot move like a snake, unless he tries to flop his way into water. So land is a big no go when he is a serpent.
