Current People are torn apart in the status bar ? Not me. I am heavier than iron, splitting me apart will release dangerous levels of energy.

I got money, I'll just buy the whole prison including all inmates from the state, but not before placing a bet on the financial markets that crime rate will massively increase very soon and suddenly.

Colleagues told me I'd look like a viking. I'm not sure whether that's a compliment, a warning, something derogative or all of these things.

I'd change the name from 'President' to 'Presidentist' to troll the nation. If a press conference is too noisy, I let a piece of chalk screech on an old whiteboard in front of the microphone.

Why doesn't the US government order the invasion of their own country, North America got plenty of natural resources, too! *looks at ICE and national guard activities* Oh wait, they already are...

Bio

Welcome to my profile page!

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress

And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Want to RP with me ? Shoot me a PM, but don't shoot me!

Thanks for visiting!

Name: Vekyzz
Title/Nickname: -
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Race:
Appearance: As an individual he is an imposing figure: The man stands about 7 feet 2 inches tall (excluding the horns) and is packed with dense, voluminous muscles.
Trope/Archetype: The Big Guy

Profession: He doesn't really have one. He's basically become a survivalist capable of living off the wild land. He still seldomly accepts more or less shady jobs, but more for fun than out of necessity.

Background: Vekyzz has never experienced the freedom of having parents that keep you nourished and well-kept during your childhood. He hasn't even experienced the luxury of never having to switch the world one's living in, allowing as much time as possible to adapt. He was thrown into this realm by a mage craving for power, but the first thing that happened is another case of the scientist-runs-an-experiment-without-preparation-for-the-case-it-yields-exactly-the-outcome-he's-hoping-for trope. The summoner doesn't live anymore, killed in an instantaneous act of outrage. Unfortunately, Vekyzz thereby has also slain his only hope of returning - or at least the only one he knows about. Being doomed to continue living the life that had just started to exist, the demon started roaming the land.

Equipment:
  • What would he be without his trusty, colossal, vintage looking sword ? Technically it isn't even really a sword, but merely an outstanding piece of mechanical butchery consisting of a thick piece of sheet metal that was ground to have a sharp edge on one side while the other was bolted to a large handle. It's purely makeshift.
  • An equally impressive collection of... one might be tempted to say 'garbage', but let's just call it an armor consisting of pieces of leather, fur and cloth stacked upon another and combined and held together with chains. It covers most of his body.
  • A cheap, but complete set of 'civil' clothing.

Pros:
  • + Very strong and tough. He's capable of moving and lifting things an ordinary human couldn't dream of.
  • + Rather intelligent, though not outstandingly.

Cons:
  • - His appearance. When people see him, prices go up, and when he leaves, they go down again as if by magic. He's really not far from being an outcast and scorn can be achieved by a wide variety of methods.
  • - He's lean and wouldn't consider himself particularly tall or heavy. By human standards however he is a crushing, walking tower and thereby prone to more or less embarrassing accidents. Furniture, badly maintained buildings and the like aren't exactly designed for him.
  • - He's inexperienced with this world and the habits, traditions and reasoning of its inhabitants. The negative impact of this has considerable lessened since his 'arrival', but is still noticeable.

If I had an idea for another character that I would suspect of being capable of working, I'd stay. The problem is: I don't. Asmund just won't squeeze in between Sulley and the others I think ( How many scenes has he been able to really do with other characters ? Almost zero. ) and with Kura and the others gone the alternatives are away.
@Aspen Wren
Well... I think I'm going, too.

If I'm honest I have to say that I personally doubt that there would be much reason to miss me here anyway, judging by how my character has worked out so far. I currently don't see much of a long-term perspective in the constellation that we now have and I don't want to just quit doing anything without saying anything like Kura did. Sorry :/
Oh... my.... god...

No, An-Hasst didn't really believe in an higher being that still was around in secrecy and fiddled with the world it created. However the Skayleigh community had some contact with humans - quite forcedly, what likely every Andred with basic education could confirm. Noticeably astonished, with his lips having separated from each other in a thin line, the half-elf half-giant looked at what surpassed even his own height by far. Then he redirected his head and eyes to a less steep angle. An-Hasst couldn't help but feel a tad pity for the lizardman. Judging by the many wounds both opponents already were covered with, he had made their job a bit easier. However An-Hasst estimated that he wouldn't be able to survive on his own.

The Skayleigh glanced towards Calanon. He could see that Brogach's owner already was stringing his bow. With a loud thudd, the heavy crossbow hit the muddy floor behind An-Hasst's heels. Normally these crossbows were cocked by stepping onto a lever, but he wasn't human. With his biceps bulging to a threatening extent that gave reason to the decision of wearing very large sleeves, he did the job by hand. Not exactly relaxing, but more efficient than the traditional method. One of the few advantages of being An-Hasst and not someone else with a name less prone to modification.

The Skayleigh stepped towards his wood elf mate and nodded towards him. He was convinced that it would be the appropriate action to attack this beast, but he also hoped that he'd get confirmation without having to speak loudly.

Vekyzz is a tad of an adaptation of another character I had to abandon because the RP I created him for never got going. Several main elements have stayed the same while I've replaced others to suit the scenario. I was halfway on my way of making a Troll when I remembered this one.
@Shoryu Magami I see the point :D
Vekyzz doesn't have this problem. His problem will be more how to keep his reactor cool and running (that is: not exploding) day in, day out. How many times is he gonna hit the ceiling with his horns or get stuck in the doorframe ?
@Shoryu Magami It's a perfectly ordinary [.img]...[./img] BB-code in a hider (remove dots in tags). This board doesn't allow HTML code for ordinary users (for good reason).

It will definitely be interesting when our characters meet for the first time. Vekyzz' 'otherworldlyness' pretty much is written on his face, or no... in these glowing eyes and his horns and his straightforward inhuman physique.
@Shoryu Magami I think it is a quite interesting situation, because there is some metastability in it: Vekyzz could either start thinking 'Yes! Finally someone who could get me back home!" or he could start thinking 'Oh god... yet another screwball that wants to fiddle around with things he doesn't fully understand and throws into jeopardy without caring!'. They could become good friends or start hating each other if things go really wrong.
@Shoryu Magami I've mirrored the image on my own image hoster so not to steal traffic from the original server. I've checked it and it seems okay, but if others report the same problem it could still be my error. Remote diagnosis is very difficult, maybe it has something to do that the image is transferred in an encrypted manner. Anyway, I have another link that shows the same image: http://67.media.tumblr.com/2a865005b7838cb8b84248a42d82a59b/tumblr_inline_n57drnMYxV1rhi1j2.jpg

I'm kinda surprised by the possible relationships. I've proposed this character to @Halvtand last night (my time), so before I had any possibility to read yours and see that he's a mage.
Name: Vekyzz

Age: 26
Gender: Male
Race: Demon. The realm he comes from is called Qu'Nor. There exist a multitude of creatures, not only demons, but he is one of them. They come in a vast variety of different shapes and, believe it or not, not all of them are flat-out hostile to everything and everyone. Most are however. Vekyzz is a tad in the middle: Not willing to kill on sight, but easy to push into a decent rage that can become quite violent.
