I'm not being filled with very much confidence in the GM statements that Tyranids will not murder us all and end the plot by themselves thus far. :V
All Angels/Machina in favor of ganging up on the Demons and taking all their territory, please say 'Aye'.
Things rapidly got out of hand, even more than Ba'al had expected.

While he had been ready to talk with the Dark Outliners face to face, the rising tension had not helped matters. And it all culminated as a new foe presented itself, the center of the room practically exploding to release a pod into the room that in turn blew up to spread goop everywhere. Of course both Ba'al and Qetesh were fine, it splattering onto personal shields that flared to life and took the impact without harming either of them. The guard was less likely, but it wasn't like he was important anyway.

"I suppose that's time for us to take our leave," Ba'al said with a sigh as he looked across to Qetesh. A button was pressed and the Goa'uld representatives would exit the room via teleportation, bright beams of light flashing before they vanished from sight. That had been interesting, he supposed.

The two of them appeared on the bridge of one of the two Ha'taks that were drawing near the combat zone, though not in it yet. "Well then, that was eventful," Ba'al noted as he looked over at Qetesh, obviously amused. She wasn't, but that was besides the point. "I should return to our Empire. I trust you can handle things here?"

"Of course I can. How little your faith in me," Qetesh replied with a smooth yet deadly velvet in her tone. Oh, she knew exactly how to handle this. With another press of the button Ba'al disappeared, leaving Qetesh on the bridge with the other Jaffa.

The Queen of the Goa'uld Empire grinned darkly as she turned to look out the viewscreen at the scene of combat playing out in front of her, the Temple ship under attack along with the meeting place. Her eyes flashed as she issued commands to both Ha'taks. "Raise shields, launch Death Gliders. Fire. At everything." She would let them see the true power of the Goa'uld, in a way that they would understand.

Fightercraft roared out from hangar bays to plunge ahead as shimmering gold energy walls rose around the approaching capital ships. They would move to meet the Tyranid forces even as bolts of golden plasma flew out from a myriad of ship mounted staff cannons. They were aiming at the Tyranid's, sure, but if it hit the Temple Ship or the meeting area in the process then she wouldn't complain. It was just unfortunate damage.

I haven't posted yet, and I couldn't do it in my last post because Grafdakka was alone. Unless you meant you capped with Grag when you posted? That'd be totes cool with me.

I mean, it seems a bit silly for you to spend one move getting there and then having to wait for someone to show up in a successive post before you can activate the node. At the very least you should be able to just 'prime' it and wait for someone else to arrive.

If not, then I hope Graf dropped down a lot of mines on that sector for defenses in the meanwhile :P
@Flamelord I was thinking Graf and Endian would cap a point in my next turn and head down to delta. Hopefully the sisters would do the same.

Err, I thought you had capped this turn. Did you only use one action or something?
@Flamelord
The conflict, at the moment, is limited to the area of the peace meeting. Only the ships and people in that particular area are currently threatened. While the Tyranid may expand their territory and become a larger threat in time, for the moment they're merely an omen of bad things to come. So feel free to do faction interactions.

'May'?

They're the Tyranids. I'm not exactly a lore master but I'm fairly certain that they will expand. Isn't that, like, their whole purpose in life or something?
The time had come at last, with the Contender having arrived and the battle begun. Not that there was a formal declaration as such, of course. The opposing forces had squared off, and it was only when intelligence came in indicating that the others had begun to move did the battle really begin. Now the fight for the Ruins was on, and whatever end came from that.

From the bridge of the Contender Endian could see the reports coming in. Grafdakka had set off, as well as Hibiki and Shizuka, and now the time for the fight to begin was upon them. She herself had resolved to take the field as well, a necessity given the sort of situation that they were in. They couldn't control the various sectors without command type personnel inside to claim said sectors. That meant she would have to take to the field.

This sector could be defended by the Contender, and she left it as such with firm instructions, meant to prevent any repeat instances of the treachery that had so crippled the Elicitor in the last battle. They would remain to make sure that the base of deployment was not immediately overrun, a reasonable precaution, and they would advance when given the opportunity later.

For now Endian herself took out a skimmer, hovering above the water with a small escort as she shot after Grafdakka. She couldn't jump like him, but she could see the sense. This way they wouldn't expose themselves to attacks by all angles going for the center, and could relatively secure their flank. It made all the sense in the world, even if it wasn't the most daring course of action.

Arriving, she equipped propulsion units before dipping beneath the water, packs allowing her to dive deep as she joined Grafdakka in heading for the node that they needed to activate. They had to act quickly if they were going to seize the advantage in this fight.

"I will do my best," Tartys replied with a bow as she was informed of what was going on, even as the plan changed before her eyes with information of their new objective. Sadly it still meant that they would have to go underwater though, so she was still less than pleased with it, even if she didn't say as such.

Then the fight began, with the dwarves moving off while the other angels mobilized. She received her orders quietly, determination forming in her mind as she readied her weapon for combat ahead. This was going to be another test, and she vowed that she would do better than she had in the previous battle.

"I'll be on my way then," she agreed as she looked towards Omega, wings unfurling to carry her skyward. With her gaze sweeping the horizon for the enemy she headed towards the sector that led on a direct route for the demons, the easier of foes that they would have to fight. It was a relatively safe journey all told, with no immediate foes, and for that she was very grateful at the end of it.

Arriving at her destination, she grumbled to herself as she twirled her spear and let light coalesce around her, bathing in a warmth that shone and would keep the water away, and allow her to breath. With it in place she dove beneath to find the node that they needed to activate this place. The sooner she did that, the sooner she could get back in the sky where she belonged.

Really can't predict what you're trying to do, but if you want help working around that, send me a PM. I'll see if I can assist you in letting it work. Believe me, there was no intention to ruin your fun.

I mean, most of my plans involved being able to interact and having some factional conflict, not having an immediate world ending threat dropped on the major players at ga me start.

Don't worry though, I have a new plan. You'll probably hate it, but it's not like the planet can get more screwed right?
I'm also going to congratulate the GM's on ruining basically every plan that I had thought up to this point for my faction. Good job.
I want you to know that I blame the Imperium for this.
