Lenier

Bosesa. Not anything particularly special, in Lenier's experience. It was another town trying to mete out an existence amidst the threat of the Tyrants from above. It was a bit smaller, but ultimately unexceptional as far as humanity was concerned.

Lenier's gaze swept the town as he walked through, headed to the meeting point. In his hand he clutched a green apple, which he occasionally took a bit of as he moved along. The taste exploded across his senses, while a crunch rose in his ears. It was nice, having something to munch on as he neared the meeting spot. He was going to need the energy fairly soon, if he had to guess.

Fufufu, fun.

The voice was like a shadowy whisper in the back of his mind, a soft caress that sought to pull him into doing what it wanted. Not that he would give in so easily, but that was no concern. They both had all the time in the world, so long as he endured. So she would entice, and he would chart his own course.

Arriving at the center of town, he looked around with a dull expression, to find that he was the first one there. That was fin, he decided as he took another bite of his apple. He would give it a good five minutes or so to see if anyone else showed up, and then he would head on his way. He was perfectly ready to handle this by himself, but having someone else along while the Scarlet Moon was out couldn't hurt. So for now he waited.

Just another ordinary day
Alicia Hayden

"It's a bench, it can be fixed," Alicia pointed out matter of factly even if she grunted at the fact that her arrows didn't work to really injure her opponent, aside from throwing her into a bench. That wasn't exactly a debilitating injury for a magical girl, shocking though it might be to hear. But this was clearly something that she would have to adjust her strategy to account for. Well, that was just how these things went.

However she had little time to worry about that, as it seemed Janet was having problems of her own. Alicia decided to lend a hand, figuring Suwako could deal with Umeko for the moment until she had helped her companion. "Somehow I don't believe you," she shot at Umeko before looking to her companion. "I've got you." Beacon was about working together, and if they let themselves get divided then they would be finished.

She jumped high at that point, rising upwards as she readied her bow once again. Magic flared with a barrage, and she cut loose a moment later. Explosive arrows penned the outside of the mist before a more conventional barrage flew into it directly, surely an amount that would make avoiding it too difficult. At the same time she moved to get away from Umeko, so she could focus on the other opponent without getting immediately attacked.

Finch wasn't sure what the guy had planned on doing next, but it seemed that he was actually planning to do something rather than standing there and being a pincushion. It was about time, since even his own theatrics fell a bit flat when he was the only one in the show.

Not that he appreciated the actual retaliation as everything was sent flying to and fro in the van because of the strong wind suddenly intruding. "Keep us going," he said to the driver, though that was easier said than done with all the buffeting from stuff flying around. The vehicle rapidly began to swerve on the road, which might make things a bit more difficult for their unwelcome passenger."Ah hell," Finch grunted as he at last went for the gun and began firing upwards. Though with the wind and all the motion he probably wouldn't hit anything. But you never knew, maybe he'd get lucky.

Ah, well that sucks. Naturally I would like the RP to go forward, but if you decide to stop before it gets started then I can understand that. Real life is more important after all.
Finch

Pulling the blade down, Finch was annoyed to find that the tip had been broke off his weapon. Not that that stopped him from reforming it and trying again. It was a useful power that he had, and he was going to use it to the best that he could in this situation. So far it seemed to be working after all.

The holes in the roof did help him to hear the other guy with his yelled challenge, not that Finch was stupid enough to listen to it when he had other options. He wasn't about to go have a fistfight on the roof of a moving vehicle, not when he seemingly had the advantage. "No thanks," he called back with a yell. "All that wind will run my hair." That was followed by another strike as he kept up with what had worked so far. He was not about to stop or give up, so this daring hero had better com up with something before he wound p embarrassing himself. Not that Finch would have minded that in the slightest.

Finch

Now, the criminal Epic wasn't sure whether he had actually hit the interloper or not, though he had to guess that he did. That was why after a second or so he pulled the blade down through the roof before anything could happen to it. That gave him a moment to examine the blade, which did bear some telltale signs that he had hit something. That in turn earned a grin from him as he prepared to go again. Seemed his luck was still as good as ever.

"Score one for me," he said aloud before stabbing upwards again, then swiftly pulling it back down to hit another spot regardless of whether he hit anything or not. At some point it was either going to get this guy off his van roof, or to do something that changed the current state of the field between them. Finch was fine with it either way, as the van turned onto another street. Naturally it was no longer en route to their hideout, just buying time. Once he was gone they could back to it, but for now it was too risky.

Here was hoping that problem fixed itself soon.

Man, starting with 16% despair and I haven't even been in battle. Good sign. :V

I'll work with it. Someone has to b the poor Witch Baitstudent after all
I am interested and ready to go. Never managed to be in a PMMM RP that lasted for some time, so hopefully this breaks the trend.
Eh, it'll be nice once we get past the opening, and there's the opportunity to show that Beacon is more than just 'go kill stuff for no good reason'.
